They should. I know a few people that got into those apps and they only earned nothing. I don't know what's the real objective of the owner of those apps for faking such things. Google did the right move and they really should ban those apps.

The new updates on Google again hit the crypto headlines due to its ban on cryptocurrency mining apps on Play Store. Play Store, the pre-installed Android based app will no longer feature crypto mining apps for the crypto enthusiasts. The developer policies of Google Play Store have completely prohibited the cryptocurrency mining apps which supposedly feature disruptive ads.

Amidst this stringent measure, the company has still considered giving permission to those apps which focus on remotely handling crypto mining. Android's digital distribution services has previously released update that led to the banning of all apps pertaining to fake ID.
Will this update remove the applications that associated with Crypto exploits? Moderators may be the best way to do this, but many forms are posted to the store every day, so it's hard to control them all.

I gather they received a lot of complaints from people about phones being damaged or being rendered useless by these Apps, or they would not have reacted this way. Anyone that tried these Apps before, would tell you that it is useless and the battery and resources are hammered, without any result in the mining.

Mobile phones should never be used for mining, even if you are only going to mine some worthless Shitcoin with it.  Angry Why would you "kill" your phones performance, for a gain of a few cents?

In my opinion, mining on a phone is not a good idea in the first place and maybe it's even good that they banned so many scam apps
However, their new regulations are not only about mining apps, there are so many restrictions for all crypto related apps, took a month for me to upload such

There are many fake mining apps in google playstore, maybe that is the reason they banning the apps.
If you want to mining crypto, just use your pc and not your phone. Using PC will be more efficient because you can get high hash rate with low power.

I knew FB and Google doese not support crypto. But it is not important. I believe they do not approve crypto because it is not good. They have own reasons. Anyway, there are still hundreds corporations in the market accept and use crypto technology. That's enough

I have seen an Electronium Coin mining app in google play store. That was good and they paid to the users! But after Electroniums success, many mining apps were created. Litecoin, Ethereum, Ripple mining apps were among them. Maybe they were not official, they did not pay to mobile phone miners. I think Google's decision is okay! People were getting scam!

Actually the crypto mining is not possible with the Android hardwares because it is not designed for the 24/7 operations so if you try to do that then it will wreck your phone and I don't know how they are oing to create policies against it because most of the apps that are claiming mining apps are no related to that job it simply a piece of shot to advertise some pop-up ads.

Mobile has not met the demand for Mining, the Google ban does not affect much to users! If mining on the phone will adversely affect the daily use of mobile devices!

How dare they? That would be just a little illusion out there about exploiting BTC, mind you it has been almost 3 months since I saw a post about tapping on the phone.

Maybe because there are many mining apps with fake promise to be able to pay the miners. I have found many fake miner apps, if you mine the coin and want to withdraw the coin, you won't be able to do it or it is pending. If google banned mining apps from now, i wonder how electroneum will create their mobile mining apps.

There is trouble abrewing
....But don't worry there are still crypto mining websites that are 100% safe to use.

no there aren't. any mining website or commonly known as the cloud miners are a terrible things to use because they are either scams since they run a ponzi scheme to make money or they eventually are forced to turn into a ponzi scheme when they fail to make profit and have to sell hashrate they don't have.

Most exploit applications are just scams that contain a lot of ads. and eat plenty of your time. I'm about to pull out my first iphone gen and go to the town earning lots of satoshi, I can buy another week when it dies. If we are only able to make people update their site and let people know you can no longer use the CPU / GPU. If this is their start stepping in with these applications, I Hopefully they will follow those fake sites that primarily target new nannies. Freebitcoin and freedoge coin applications on the playstore are providing very little btc and doge coin but in the long run.

We know that google is a big company. Making an app on playstore is very easy to do and it really depends on the developer on how he do it. Like for what  i know is that they can see our information and tracks what we are doing. So for me this a good news that playstore will ban crypto mining apps on playstore becauase it is not really safe and google can't track all day the happenings. But don't worry there are still crypto mining websites that are 100% safe to use.

I think that this is how it adversely affects Google or just this kind of public relations advertising such a move Well, whatever the direction of Google in the right to make such decisions, I personally do not use any such applications to get bitcoins or other coins

Bitcoin is a decentralised crypto currency and this is the reason that there is no such proper authentic regulating body over the bitcoin who could keep eye over all the bitcoin activities thus leading to illegal use of bitcoin so because of this many countries and big companies are not legalising bitcoin and this could be the most probable reason why google has banned the crypto ads but to their knowledge once Facebook and Twitter has banned crypto ads leading to decrease in the valuation of their stocks.

That is another bad news in cryptocurrency I can't understand why they did this to us and to crypto. I hope that they find a way to get back the crypto. But they have a reason why they do that because most of this crypto mining apps are scam and they use it to scam newbies who are new to crypto world.

And what is the real purpose of Google forbiding bitcoin mining applications via Android? Will it cause bad for Google Play Store? I don't think so, because the APK was not made on behalf of Google, right? Huh

Many cryptocurrency mining apps are living on the Play Store. Some of them aren’t harmful, but the concern is the existence of the apps that hide the mining code and perform cryptojacking. I think they are doing the right thing to protect their users. However, they mentioned in the updated policy that "We permit apps that remotely manage the mining of cryptocurrency,”. So you still can use these apps.
