They'll do this all the government is corrupted if they use blockchain they'll never able to make money also we should not forget that government is looking forward to ban bitcoin and block chain. Almost all country has already banned it.However, this is something we will get to see over time become a reality and we will obviously be able to see it make a lot of sense over time, considering that there will be a lot of huge transparency and accountability in the government when that is implemented. Sure, it would take some tough leader with great vision to be able to get this to work, but at some point when most countries begin utilizing the blockchain, most parts of the world will be forced to do that as well.

Government are free to make decision for the economies and they will not implement things related to economy in hurry they think first about the importance and value to the country and it can be judge by economist that whether it is good for the bilateral trade and international investment or not we should check all the aspects of blockchain first.

The Blockchain is not what the government needs to stop corruption in their country. Corruption depends on who the country has voted as its leader, if the leader is corrupt then every other person that follows him will also be corrupt. But if the leader is not someone who is corrupt and stands on his ground to top corruption then it will be stopped. Blockchain can’t even stop corruption and people can easily steal with it and you will not know who committed the crime, cause it doesn’t show who it was it can only show records of transaction. If you take a critical look at the features of the blockchain technology, you would agree with me that the anonymous feature indirectly encourages criminal activities such as money laundering, drug trafficking and terrorism sponsoring.
It is a fact that there is not a way of tracking crpto online activities to a users offline address.
I am of the opinion that government implementing blockchain technology without correcting this feature will not only encourage corruption but institutionalize it.

Blockchain technology will definitely help to prevent corruption due to it's features like transparency and security. Though transactions in blockchain technology are irreversible just like in cryptocurrency but that will also act as an indicator of mishandling, recklessness and possible corruption. So for me the current technology used by banks can do nothing compared to blockchain technology. It seems that it is impossible to be implemented. Bad people in government will try their best to prevent the implementation of this. This technology can't reach political area yet. Honestly I agree about your idea because blockchain is very appropriate to reduce the corruption.

No. Blockchain technology is not the solution to prevent corruption but it can be a good tool to be used for corrupt government officials on their shady agenda. Corruption for that matter will just proliferate rather than being prevented.

Many governments are looking at this option. Since the blockchain is relatively new and is yet to prove itself through time, it's only wise for the governments to wait a little and watch how it evolves. At the moment, many researches are being carried out about ways to implement this seamlessly without causing a hitch.

Anyways if you look other side your opinion is good since it will reveal the truth what government is doing with our money. If the government is corruption they never use it and i know almost all governments are doing corruption.However, as time goes on, we will get them being pushed and forced one way or the other, but unless there is some enforcement and there is a leadership serious enough to bring development into the country, nothing will change much if it is never utilized effectively.

I think its impossible. If a government is already corrupted why would they implement blockchain technology?.However, for the third world and some developing countries, where corruption is like bread and butter for them, I still believe one way or the other, they will find it extremely slow to ever integrate blockchain technology unless they get to see a good leader that is well exposed and ready to take the bull by the horn, and in that case, that must be some powerful individual who will be ready to step on toes.

I think it would be a big help if they implement blockchain technolgy to prevent corruption in any country because it has a bigger chance to know where the money goes and I think if that would happened it will lessen the amount of curroption in any country.
