They are probably too busy working on the new servers and have no time to take your deposit.

Either way you're getting G.O.X.E.D.

Did Gox just eat my money? Transferred from MTGox to LibertyReserve over 12 hours ago and still can't see them.

Thread is not needed. Sorry Tim.

Glad you were as diligent with the five thousand Mt.Gox freakout threads. Doing a bang-up job, there.

Thanks, we couldn't have done it without you.

The continuous threads, the off-key whining. Please, tell me again how Mt.Gox was supposed to be the end of us all, and bitcoin included, I haven't finished laughing. If anything, you alienated the very audience you hoped to sway. In fact, give it another go - I'd love to see a big contrary push past 20.

Please rest assured I will only use my increased wealth to mock your very existence, nay, your entire family name and reputation.

Go forth, and find another roost - bitcoin isn't done quite yet Smiley

I'd bet ya 99% of the loud doomsday prophets are convinced Bitcoin will go up, they just wanted to make it drop so they could buy more first. Smiley

Update: I didn't post this here - I put this in the "RALLY" thread. But hey, cool.

Could it be that dark pool trades are still available via the API? I could imagine a bot executing these trades and not knowing any better.

There were a couple of bugs brought to MagicalTux's attention on IRC.

One was that a sell order for the entire BTC amount in an account didn't seem to take.  Replacing the sell order with 0.01 less BTC than the account total worked.  MagicalTux fixed this big.

The other is the mismatched trades or rogue trades which occurred at $15.00 and $18.00 (among a couple other prices) when they should have traded within the $16.xx bid-ask spread.  These were, fortunately only a couple of glitches which occured under rare circumstances. MagicalTux said he was checking into this.

Yes, status was "active" and the BTC were already displayed in my account.

Very odd. Send of a bug report to [email protected].

Strange...

I withdrew my BTC because I didn't trust it after being Goxed several times...
But when things turned out to run pretty "smooth" at MtGox I decided to try and send my BTC to MtGox.
When they were in, I put in a order to sell at 16.5 Dollar.

After that I went to sleep (I live in the Netherlands) and the BTC went over 17.5...
I looked at the graphics this morning and thought "well, I could have gotten more but at least I got 16.5 Smiley"

So I logged in to MtGox and... They weren't sold Huh
Now I sold them at 17.4 and you don't hear me complain.... But at least it's very weird...

That is weird. Was the order still open in your books? Did it say "active" or "in queue"?

shit someone just merged threads.

If it was dark pool, should they be showing up in the regular charts?

No, and there don't seem to be any dark pools at the moment. I don't see the option anyway.

They might be dark pool transactions that were initiated before the reset.  All of these transactions were executed at even stock prices, where the liquidity is always the deepest and are a sink for large transactions.  Before the reset, deep pool transactions worked among the deep pool and with the broader market based on which had the best pricing at the right volume.  If the counter-party was outside the pool, I would imagine it would be tough to segregate that in the chart reporting.

seems the reporting part of the transaction processing must be goofed up or gets overloaded and shits out.
Whatever it is, bitcoincharts and some others are not reading the data properly or mtgox isn't reporting it the same, but Slush's sierrachart-feed is getting the correct data compared with mtgox's chart.

Oh, I just realized these could have been "Dark Pool Only" sales.

Dark pools are minimum 1000 BTC
