All I know is if I were an early adopter and had tens of thousands of coins and a bunch of cash I'd be crashing a few markets right now to buy back up on the cheap.

Hell, it only takes 1000 BTC to drop Tradehill a few bucks.  I'd be trolling hard.

Pretty sure about everyone in the world has thought of that.  The problem is it wouldn't work.  Best case scenario is the downward pressure would be reversed when you buy the coins back, and you'll end up right back where you started minus transaction fees.  Even more likely though is you will sell a lot of coins cheap, making it attractive for new buyers to come in and so when you go to buy all the coins back it will have to be for a higher price than you originally sold for.

The problem is they changed to integers from floats.  When you do that, you have to get all the mults and divs right, or you end up with this kind of problem.

I guess it was a small currency issue, they were testing to charge fees in Zimbabwean Dollars.  Grin

Lowest ask price: 15.5

I set an order for 16... it was qued.. not executed!!

I presume, what we see is test trades...

BR
GC

No, I don't think they are tests, I think they are just being executed very, very slowly. It'll get around to your order, and if the price is still that low after everyone in front of you has been filled, then you will get your bitcoins.

I think.

...hmm let see. Offer still at 15.5, my buing order for 16 is still not executed. (since 13 minutes)

I've just been thinking for how long must dozen of monkeys type frantically to keyboard till they come up with a trading site parody.

A week should be sufficient, I guess.

And MtGox is giving so many content for it! Actually there's already MtGox the RPG.
My eyes are still wet from laughing with the fees.

I was thinking that, while I'd be "missing the opening", a lot of others would be too -- to the point that there wouldn't BE much of an opening...

Can't say I feel sorry for all the unchurched and those who skipped church today...

Seriously.  Keep your mental disorder to yourself.  I personally do not care that your parents abused you as a child and forced you to live a life of ignorance and self-righteous bias.
