So, anyone getting scammed? GPUMAX safe to use? Are you guys getting paid for your work?
Yeah, I'm not sure why anyone would be using a pirate-owned service this week.

I've been getting paid almost every day for leased work over the last couple months. All and all, it runs quite well. Keep up to date in IRC #gpumax as it's much faster then the forums.

Other than this little bit here which they are correcting;  I've not seen any reports of miners not receiving their earnings from GPUMAX.
From IRC:

Quote
<@zux0r> due to stats not being calculated for 6 hours last night (6PMish - midnight) the payments for that day are missing about 6 hours of leased work
<@zux0r> tonight at midnight it will take your current balance and subtract how much you've been paid so far, so it should include what was missed
<@zux0r> also, the hourly graphs should be accurate as to what was earned during those 6 hours
<@zux0r> now that stats have caught up and filled in the gaps

It appears so and it also appears that he is using GPU Max coins to start to pay back his investors!
Any proof to that?  Roll Eyes
nope, people just like to make shit up...  Roll Eyes

In this case, it's actually easy to confirm that Shadow383 is correct - it's GPUMAX. I should really have googled the address myself:

The following address is managed by GPUMAX.

  • 1PSf86KnLuzM7Ris5kDhTEZwooR3p2iyfV

Sorry it wasn't more interesting. Sad

It looks like coins are coming back !
Apparently using freshly-generated coins too in some cases, e.g. this payment http://blockchain.info/tx-index/16885882/c2d0742df8df67c0507fd270b3c262f8a0118ba3a9b91357c83a04d952d0a32d - very interesting.

Edit: not just freshly-generated coins that weren't mined by any pool that blockchain.info is aware of, but ones that were mined with a very unusual 47.5 BTC / 2.5 BTC split in the coinbase payout, which means custom software.

Edit 2: and yep, that entire payment comes from coinbase transactions paid to http://blockchain.info/address/1PSf86KnLuzM7Ris5kDhTEZwooR3p2iyfV - which represents 5+% percent of the total Bitcoin hashpower right now at a quick estimate. I have a bad feeling about this.

For me it looks like he bought this coins directly from a large miner, which makes sense to me.
It's GPUMAX.
There was a thread about this some time ago, when GPUMAX hashing power was being directed to a private pool, with 47.5BTC going to some other address for every block.
At the time, Pirate said that this private pool would be "part of the business model" of GPUMAX.

Are you using chrome?
Firefox 14.0.1, Haven't tried it on chrome tbh.
Are you getting work?
As of now yes public work is being submitted though I've never actually seen those graphs with data in them.
I'm wondering if its just a bug with my worker as it's a very old account and I've always used the same worker, I'll make a new one to test.

On another note, does anyone else's Income Shares & Reject graph actually work?

for the record, i got my invite today.  set up account, but don't have time to do much else atm.

i think it was about 5 months

Same here, just got a beta invite sometime within the past couple of hours. Been waiting since Feb/Mar 2012, or something.

I haven't been following the Pirate drama, and I don't know much about GPUMAX. Is GPUMAX owned/run by Pirate? And is it safe to start using GPUMAX?

According to my miners I should have about 1.3GHash/s output, but GPUMAX is showing 262Mhash/s at the moment. Plus Reject shares are 0%  and Shares 0%  Income 0%, but some shares are coming to accepted all the time and my Income BTC is increasing. Wondering if I'm going to get any payout tomorrow.. O.o

And now giving 502 - Bad Gateway

last share arrived 11 hours ago at the backup pool.
public shares are not reflected in the share counter but shares go to gpumax and speed is also shown as usual

I can see the same behavior. Let's see when it gets fixed. I guess pirate is quite busy these days...

You should take a screenshot of the workers page then compare it after 10 mins. Nothing changed on mine, its just showing the hash rates and stats from when it stopped working. I tried switching to "only work on private pool", backup pools still don't receive shares.
