But but but.... my OCZ 1250 PSU is the only PSU I have ever really LOVED!   Does that make me one of those CSR stats?

My big concern here is that you are putting so many of our BTC on known-faulty hardware.  What is your data replication strategy, both for this and FPS&T?

I think I need to talk with some of those default bond issuers.
i'm going to confirm that. OCZ PSUs sucked for me.

I feel your pain.  My mining rig, which also doubles as my daily driver, and triples as my home business computer lost an SSD and a PSU within 1 week of operation.  I was down 2 weeks for the SSD, when the PSU let go I said "hell no" and picked up an 80+ gold ASAP.

OCZ SSD? Smiley  Those things are worse than sitting in the electric chair and hoping for a call from the governor.  On the bright side, they know their product is junk, so they never give you any problems with RMA.
Actually, yes, OCZ Vertex 2.  When I bought it I didn't do my 40 hours of research while at work that I usually do, so I did not read the numerous posts about it being a bucket of fail, along with the guys in this thread.  They replaced it no questions asked, because as said before it is known to have critical flaws by OCZ themselves.  So burned emotionally after that.

Look, that is the reason why i had to switch names... the drive had a problem.  I don't backup anything.  Backups are for nerds.

Well, I hate SSD's period. Seen so many of them fail in different ways .. not reliable at all vs HDD's.

I run Revo myself and love it!

Revo is different, in that they're courting a different audience.  Their consumer- and enthusiast-grade SSDs are known for bricking, especially with firmware updates1.  The fact that OCZ white labels their drives (not sure about their power supplies) makes it tough to know if the problems are lot- or supplier-oriented.

1 The updates adding TRIM support and improved GC in general caused flooding in the OCZ forum.  If you want to read the best CSR responses ever, it's a good place to go.

I run many OCZ SSDs in my miners and haven't had one fail yet, which isn't to say they won't eventually.
My rule of thumb is that if it lasts for more than a month without dying, then it is safe to use (with a good backup as usual). They always seem to fail within a month of installation, or not at all.

So true. Stick to Intel, Crucial and Samsung.

Forget rebranders like OCZ, Corsair, Mushkin etc.

Any news about purchases running Grin ?

Ouch that sucks!
Good news is my PSU and cards are up hashing again on a test system at work. Now I just gotta get mobo / cpu n ram.
We have a 890FX GD65 MSI board here, and sempron 145 and some RAM
mobo has 2x PCIe x16 and 4 PCIe x1's
Total would be around 150ish for all of those combined, is that a good deal?

Recently, if you've been mining on GPUmax and have your price set more than 10% below purchase price, what percentage of your shares are being leased?

Just slightly more than 10%, 0 leased in the last 24 hours.
