95% of all the sites listed on MP would not see any betting on their sites if it was not for MP and that is a fact. Who would trust them ? Where would they get a bankroll ?
MP is a really nice place for new sites and interesting ideas. People should be happy for the opportunity given.

I think he's referring to apps who's business model rely on being "featured" to generate traffic.

As for MoneyPot "playing favorites", that's basically the whole point of featured apps. I've looked at apps that seemed new/interesting/cool with app owners that I think users would like to visit. It's probably quite biased, and might be better replaced (or supplemented) with "top X most active MP casinos in the last week" but the energy would be better spent marketing/improving than complaining about someone not giving you free traffic

We're not using the same model. We're restructuring it in such a way that it benefits everyone. More details will come once we roll out the update to it,

Yeah, most of our discussions internally have been about future direction and plans so far. There's quite a bit to cover because it's better for us to plot out everything now than to try and work it out later. And as a somewhat large team (relatively speaking, compared to MP before), we do a LOT of brainstorming,

very much appreciated that at least one app owner jumping in and confirming the problem not to be on the featured list.

I don't want to Pm with Matt or the team because we think that for example the featured section should be handled open and fair and should be openly discussed or at least we should see explicit rules to be featured. it does not make sense that 100+ app owners will discuss with Matt by PM any option to get featured. but as you or ranlo already said lets wait till the team takes over. I don't blame the new team for the preferred treatment that happened before they took over. I just would be glad if it will be handled in a fair way for all app owners.

it could well be that the thread is not the right place for those discussions but as long there is no other place we need to discuss it here. Slack was a nice place where app owners would get in by invitation and could discuss all kind of problems.

Be interesting to see how this new team ends up running moneypot and if they end up pulling a runner or not.

The original moneypot was an awesome site and the owner was actually a really decent individual to do business with.
Hopefully these new owners run the site just as well as he did, although the bar has been set pretty damn high in my opinion.

You don't have to "shut up." We, as MP, are here to work with all app owners. We don't play favoritism. Those that have concerns are more than free to voice them. I still don't understand where you're getting this flawed perception of playing favorites from. You know as much as any other app owner does. Your complaints (such as having dead sites on the "promoted" list) have been noted, as stated many times in the past, and will be fixed when we have control and can actually do something about it.

You've yet to raise a concern that we can answer to. And it's impossible to give an answer if you're not giving a question that has an answer.

A "more detailed" introduction of members is up to each of them to decide on. That said, you know of myself, Doge, ACoin LLC. Cyclops, Rio and Alex are other members, and if they come out and speak, that's on them. As it is, it's just been us other three that I'm aware of.

Feel free to post your opinions, but make them constructive. We can't help if you're giving nothing to help with. I've been nothing but forthcoming.

Curious, will the old API still be in use of will you guys develop your own API?

We won't have control for ~1.5 weeks.

And the old API will be in use but we've noted things for expansion as well (based on requests app devs. have made). That said, our original focus is getting things up to where they were. Then we focus on additions.
