I tried the node in the post above, and the nodes I just quoted. I briefly had 1 connection, but then it dropped.

Is there some special requirement for gridcoin that the other 70+ coins on AllCrypt.com do not need?

whats going on with Price of Gridcoin.  it reached an all time low.

any ideas why?

c-cex hack, poloniex hack, gridcoin hack, gridcoin halting cpu mining, etc.

Jesus Christ, what a combo :O
When c-cex was hacked?

About a month ago. They lost about 100btc (20btc mine) and are slooooowly paying it back (0.0001btc/day) Sad

Most coins seem to be reaching a low. It's probably due to bitcoin falling in price. Things should get better when bitcoin rises in price.

Yep lets stay out of cryptorush. Mintpal is the one we should get into someday. Now is not a very good time to get listed because we are still recovering from big changes and haxing. When cpu mining is up and running and security is as it should be then would be the best time to get listed.

I think some people are panic selling now that the price is low.

Cryptorush is not the place to be. I'm voting for you guys at Mintpal every hour. Great coin. Good luck!

I think CryptoRush is having some massive issues today. Cryptorush also added a minus button on voting which I think is absolutely despicable!!!!

Hi all,

Please don't forget to vote:

We're at #2 at Cryptorush and not much behind.

Yes, add that line to your gridcoin.conf file and you should sync right up.

Seriously people - with every node you have listed, and the latest wallet, I still cannot get any connections.

The coin is obviously alive - why can no one post a list of nodes?

addnode=98.114.181.178
addnode=76.187.184.27
addnode=66.187.94.194

addnode=77.64.220.124

I am pretty sure scrypt sleep is Off for now.

Hello everybody,

I have 3 projects in my BOINC - Milkyway, Eistein and Malariacontrol.

The "Recent Average Credit" on the respective "BOINC pages" are

Milkyway - 1085
Malaria control - 41
Einstein - 80

My mining console shows x,100 for the components which means its only recording 100 for RAC as far as mining is concerned.

My question is -

How long does it take for the mining console to catch up (Since the BOINC pages show updated credits)?

Since I want my RAC in mining to be above 1000 for full GRC subsidy, will removing Malaria control and Einstein help me get it over 1K RAC. This because I believe RAC for mining is probably the weighted average of the projects involved in, if thats not the case how is it calculated ?? And what adjustments can I do to get my mining RAC up faster ?

ALSO : What are the 3 lines that need to be added to my cgminer config to enable scrypt sleep, I believe it was something like api-listen: true, api=port:4000 or something. Can't remember the exact details, maybe someone could help me with that too.

Any and all help appreciated.

Regards

UPDATE : Nvm, got the RAC part all sorted. However, still need to know abpout the 3 api lines and what difference do they make if any.
