I think it's just good old manipulation.
The manipulators set the price range both ways, and the flock of miners follows downrange. They want in cheap.

It's bound to come to a halt sooner or later, cos a miner will not sell if it doesn't cover the costs of mining.
So yes, it's still the early miners sell off bazaar.

Mining rewards are indeed rather high.
Nicehash which is now supported, is also adjusting it's price to lower levels.
So at $5 the price might be high, but at $1 it's rather low. Miners will flee if it hits $2.5 in the current status.
I doubt we will see it below ~0.0008BTC anytime soon. Maybe in a few months time.

Indeed a thick book. 24h?
Despite the true selling volumes being concealed (and slowly being sold) during the last few days, I think the chances are that we will see a big leg sooner.
If it does move towards the 13s, then I will have to buy my way down, and probably stop lose around there. We'll see.
