I think he is asking what you want the customs declaration to be on the package, to reduce customs/tax requirements.  Does not effect US customers, as we pay 0% on computer accessories, but some countries charge hefty import/VAT taxes, based on declared dollar amounts.

So, theres no customs charge for USA period?!! ... nice!

So, the two PSUs that come with it will not work on 110? Is that correct? Will it hurt anything to try them out anyway? I ordered a 1200w PSU off ebay for $110 but I don't know if it will arrive in time. Here is a link if anyone else is looking for a cheap 80 plus 1200w PSU http://www.ebay.com/itm/New-SHARK-1200W-Dual-Rail-Gaming-PC-i5-i7-ATX-12V-Power-Supply-4-PCIe-SLI-6-SATA-/271358704858?pt=PCA_UPS&hash=item3f2e3d3cda.

Does it only need 12 volt power from the power supply?
Because I'd rather use server power supplies, I have some HP ones that can put out 100amps on the 12v line
I know the bitmain antminer only taps the 12v line, no 3.3v or 5v needed
I'm assuming it only takes the motherboard connector for convenience and to switch on the power supplies

some questions i have

1- If ordering without PSU, what two PSU should I buy?  I cant find Corsair 650W PSUs for $40 like another user stated

2- What wattage are they running at?  I'm trying to figure out how much this thing will cost to run each day

3- How would you setup two or more units?  I'm a little new to the asic world.

4- Also can someone comment on how much you have to pay in customs shipping to US?

What is updated price for two units without PSUs?  Both bitcoin and paypal

Thanks a bunch

And yup, if someone can make a fast tuto for noobs to have the best hashrate for that machine that'd be 100X better than taking 1 day tweeking it Smiley

Few things to note that I did (Which do not follow me)
- Updated Firmware to 20131229 from ckolivas which also updates CGMiner to 3.9.0
- Currently running Bitburner at 1200 and Frequency at 1600 and I've been seeing it around 230-250GH/s (Temp 1 = 26 and Temp 2 = 41)

Overall I am VERY pleased with it!  I cannot wait for the other 5 Wink

Hey Powell - I'm still waiting for my two, but would you mind writing a quick and dirty list of steps to get 240GH/s hashrate out of these puppies.  I've messed around with Cubes, USB thingy's and AntMiners, but I've never updated any firmware or run Bitburner on any of my machines...

You are good then the 24pin molex was towards running a single power supply.  Smiley

So for each board you need 1 24pin molex and 2x6 pcie and 1x8pcie?

No from having an old Avalon and going by memory by looking at the additional pics uploaded, the (top) power board takes:

1x-24pin mobo
1x-8pin mobo (thought it might take 2x, the old Avalon design could but only see one in the pics)
2x-8pin pci-e

I assume the second (lower) power board one would match.  But you should be able to get by with substituting 6pin for 8pin pci-e and even leaving one of the 8pin mobo connectors just @ 4pin if needed and you should still get enough power.  The Avalon design was good for 1000W per board/PS, but I would expect with these including 600W supplies you could get by just plugging in all that you can from your PS... (just dont do what one original Avalon owner did:  kept a unit up overnight after receiving it before it toasted using ONLY the 24-pin mobo connector and not plugging anything else in!  Fun fact:  I bought one of the modules from him and it worked just fine...)

Also I remember those RED WIRES from the original Avalon thread.  They were needed to beef up the reference design core voltage on the chip and to allow for clock speeds >375mhz or so (I specifically remember the first guy to watercool them and go 450MHZ on classic Avalons had to do that...)

I ended up grabbing a couple Corsair 650W power supplies as that is a much cheaper option than a single 1300W unit (650 for $40 each, bought my last Rosewill 1300 for $170, LOL @ trying to find that deal now - damn GPU altcoin craze has pretty much bought out the high end PS market!).

Oh, ok got it. Thanks. Ordered mine without PSUs so I'm a bit concerned that things won't line up. Was tempted to order with PSUs just so I could see the connections  Roll Eyes

I'm sorry, I'm not sure what "You would have to make a 24pin jumper harness" means. I have two Fortress 650W Platinum PSUs ready to go. It would suck to be missing a cable when mine shows up.
