Yeah I also dislike the idea of scripting this.

that's nice and all, but this is a one and done event (the refund) so the time it takes to put together a script would be the same amount of time or more than just sending them out one by one

My spoon is too big!
To aid you in the transaction, I have created the transaction that will take your data and require one small change to execute it. In column F, insert this formula and then drag it down to copy it to the rest of the rows that have addresses / amounts:
Code:
=concatenate("""",B2,"""",":",C2,", ")

Then somewhere else (doesn't really matter where - I put it in G2), put this:
Code:
=concatenate("sendmany ","""",""""," ","'","{",F2:F24,"}'"," 1 ","""","RaginAzn's Avalon Group buy 1 Refund","""")

Using those two in a copy of your spreadsheet, I generated this:
sendmany "" '{"1xbbjJcbeD4Qi88QmJmMgTFSdm7b5WCG4":5.013261,"1L5VE93qbbepo5CJtyeQaVF6sM8PnqrmPL":3.1284,"1QG2H6u9KvjyrgSpEB8sAQH2qzjUPDGmYp":5.013261,"19xZgcRduMiZENg8etHgW3R8KzakHGHvj":1.0026522,"1FKJzNP3bc81Ch2tchffKDs2J7Qj7cjmUN":5.013261,"17S1mgHyWHdpXSSDUtK9jY4Gpwi4sCeSAv":4.6926,"1NhSSrRW5Kqzki6TC2HVvHviEtQdxEBTeB":2.9008089,"17oDXLNifckeMjKk5CioRPHKu4txWAXPMG":1.0026522,"1Dq9q8MBbXFVSSHBtoysxnMwRzeG6rGtTo":6.64785,"1Ky1TKDV2cvHiNxE45sY4CfKyzkst8P4me":1.0026522,"174zoHrPuXNWVsRaNQYxYesihHYoKEKnsc":20.334600000000002,"1NpJWh55tae9Zd7VKRiWknVn8orDBDRi9V":50.1349563,"12hv7UcFgrBWLjWs5McPYP63Yza6ufT6Sw":23.463,"1GrEWEN9hMUAcKkCEtTKD6f2dQn68XKznt":2.0678724,"12KHW3i2Hamk1irY8b181N4vMXUnVYL1ah":4.0106088,"1HwrMG83oVJKABuLHouUvArCGsBuHqafTt":1.5305697,"1PVPGVQGfT8xiUYTNFkBxH7yRBQdUtNrvX":2.03346,"1Ki3sFg6bCasB6tkuMW41DCCpGFDgDHVgL":3.0079566,"17RXcRMUiXqsQkCqqYKXJkP1B4Lqm47hFB":1.0222047,"1CCa1scp5vLrbaha4MZ4sUFn3uboAjpRGX":20.053826100000002,"1F6WM3rjDzVDWRTMz5Q3pwU2T6dZ6Nrb9C":1.01673,"1Q1img1shsDS2sjy3781hpkSAW6eG1rUBm":39.105000000000004,"16SSPCBRxzaiXjA6XoCpq8tBvJdhoSSPmA":3.1635945,}' 1 "RaginAzn's Avalon Group buy 1 Refund"

The only thing to do to run it after that is to remove the comma before the closed curly bracket at the end (red, bold, and underlined). This is because it was a copied formula for the rest of the cells above it that contain the comma. Of course you can change the minconfirm (the 1 at the end) and the comment for the transaction.

Here's the code version with the unnecessary comma removed:
Code:
sendmany "" '{"1xbbjJcbeD4Qi88QmJmMgTFSdm7b5WCG4":5.013261,"1L5VE93qbbepo5CJtyeQaVF6sM8PnqrmPL":3.1284,"1QG2H6u9KvjyrgSpEB8sAQH2qzjUPDGmYp":5.013261,"19xZgcRduMiZENg8etHgW3R8KzakHGHvj":1.0026522,"1FKJzNP3bc81Ch2tchffKDs2J7Qj7cjmUN":5.013261,"17S1mgHyWHdpXSSDUtK9jY4Gpwi4sCeSAv":4.6926,"1NhSSrRW5Kqzki6TC2HVvHviEtQdxEBTeB":2.9008089,"17oDXLNifckeMjKk5CioRPHKu4txWAXPMG":1.0026522,"1Dq9q8MBbXFVSSHBtoysxnMwRzeG6rGtTo":6.64785,"1Ky1TKDV2cvHiNxE45sY4CfKyzkst8P4me":1.0026522,"174zoHrPuXNWVsRaNQYxYesihHYoKEKnsc":20.334600000000002,"1NpJWh55tae9Zd7VKRiWknVn8orDBDRi9V":50.1349563,"12hv7UcFgrBWLjWs5McPYP63Yza6ufT6Sw":23.463,"1GrEWEN9hMUAcKkCEtTKD6f2dQn68XKznt":2.0678724,"12KHW3i2Hamk1irY8b181N4vMXUnVYL1ah":4.0106088,"1HwrMG83oVJKABuLHouUvArCGsBuHqafTt":1.5305697,"1PVPGVQGfT8xiUYTNFkBxH7yRBQdUtNrvX":2.03346,"1Ki3sFg6bCasB6tkuMW41DCCpGFDgDHVgL":3.0079566,"17RXcRMUiXqsQkCqqYKXJkP1B4Lqm47hFB":1.0222047,"1CCa1scp5vLrbaha4MZ4sUFn3uboAjpRGX":20.053826100000002,"1F6WM3rjDzVDWRTMz5Q3pwU2T6dZ6Nrb9C":1.01673,"1Q1img1shsDS2sjy3781hpkSAW6eG1rUBm":39.105000000000004,"16SSPCBRxzaiXjA6XoCpq8tBvJdhoSSPmA":3.1635945}' 1 "RaginAzn's Avalon Group buy 1 Refund"

I assume you'll be doing a sendmany transaction, John?

And Ben, I realize that anyone could fill out my form. This is why I wanted John to double check it in the end but it, like your form, got things a bit more organized. It didn't quite make it to generating a sendmany transaction from the results (which is what I wanted to accomplish), but between the two of us I would like to think it made John's job just a little bit easier.

Anyway, let me know if I can do anything else to push this along. One good thing has come of this whole ordeal - we know who has their heads up their asses and have found some more people who weren't known before who can actually pull some things together and may be good people to transact / work with in the future.

Note that due to its fragmented nature, I am compiling a list here ( https://docs.google.com/spreadsheet/ccc?key=0AiYcEqkgyjc_dHdIRGhHMG43N21raXJVSjA4dk5nUVE#gid=0) where those refunds I have confirmed via PM, original sheet and bigbeninlondon's sheet will be listed here. Those with conflicting amounts (i.e: PM'ed me stating 100 BTC but had 80 on other sheets) will be delayed at the moment.

Yay!  It has begun! Smiley

John, let me know if you need any clarification on anything.

Thanks!

I'll PM you in a sec, there's indeed something I need to clarify here - thanks so much!!

Hey all,

My apologies for the delay - my restore of a secure operating system took longer than I expected, and am back for good now.

And no, I'm not stalling - I am desperate as you guys are to send out this refund for once and for all as I am absolutely gaining nothing (except angry PM's and the added risk) for holding the coins here. I am comparing the lists (RaginAzn Avalon Group Buy #1 Refund (Responses)and RagingAzn628 Group Buy) bigbeninlondon had kindly set up here, and have loaded the funds up to be sent ASAP.

Cheers,
John

If this is STILL not good enough, send me a PM. I don't have time to waste reading a billion different posts that aren't relevant to anything. PM me if you need something from me. Otherwise, John K., please process my refund (I hereby confirm that I want it sent to 1Dq9q8MBbXFVSSHBtoysxnMwRzeG6rGtTo).

...preferably sometime before Christmas.

Sorry dude; I didn't mean to piss you off.  I'm doing this in an unofficial capacity; if you feel John K. has what he needs, then don't feel inclined to do anything else.  He's in charge of the money and he's in charge of the refunds.  I just thought people would appreciate someone being proactive and trying to consolidate things.  redphlegm put out a form, and I thought that was a good idea except anyone could fill out the form with anyone's bitcointalk username.  I figured it may be a better idea to confirm through bitcointalk directly so we know that addresses are associated with usernames.  This still doesn't protect against hacked usernames, but I just thought people would appreciate an attempt to consolidate refund information.

Edit: also I don't have transactions and addresses tied to usernames, and some people don't want or can't use the address they paid with.  Otherwise I would have included that in my consolidation sheet.

I sent my refund address on 2 different google docs forms, and also to John K.  Then my refund address was listed as unconfirmed on bigben's list yesterday. I've now pm'd bigben with my refund address.

Once more FTR:

I got you down davecoin.

Sorry, definitely not pissed at you. Just annoyed with the situation. It seems to me as though John K. has been stalling. Sorry if it came off as me being pissed at you. I'm grateful for what you are doing. I know it's a headache for you. I just don't understand why John hasn't made good on these refunds yet. And if he still needs something in order for that to happen, he needs to state what he needs, in plain english, so we can get this thing behind us already.

Hey all,

First of all I apologise for my 1 week hiatus from the forums - I dropped my escrow laptop and killed the drive, and I had to wait for a replacement laptop to be shipped before restoring my backups over. (as I cannot use an unsecured computer to log in the forums and/or conduct business regarding BTC).

I'm happy to say that everything should be back on track now, and hopefully I finish releasing/processing escrows tonight, especially the ragingazn refunds.

Cheers,
John

Hey sorry about the delay. I just flew in for a business trip. I sent 5.16 BTC via MtGox.

The transaction is under way, for your information, the transaction ID is:

Please let me know if there's issues with this transaction.

post in thread and PM JohnK thanks!
I'm an idiot about this I know... I sent my payment and then I got pulled in for a business trip that went to hell and I honestly have had a crazy life the past few months before I logged back in here.... Ugh. I never posted on this thread...

This is something you'll have to check back with John K. about.  One thing I did notice is that after John K. paid for the chips, there were two additional transactions; one paying John K for his 11 some odd btc for the escrow service + 7.821 for Raging's Fee (Anyone know what happened to that by the way?  Here's the txid: 36905473f73a53874f81da80629be982ec269116e59c0ca723032f94e9aae149.  Did Raging already get paid?  Maybe that's why he doesn't mind "not getting his fee"?), and then another for 5.16 btc to this address: 16kbqtQNtLGvERubGS4QDmgLgv5fQAQcZy (tx id: e03868aa432c035196bd7476551ac5fafec8b7d5915b256c7385d778c5fa0528)

Is that yours?  Did you get your refund?  Maybe that's a reserve address where John K. parked your money.

No. I did NOT get paid. John.K kept everything. I never received a single BTC from this GB. Go back to earlier posts to verify this.

I wasn't accusing, but it's odd that your exact payment was paid to some address; I presume John K. set it aside.

No need for drama guys, if you sent a tx for the extra btc, JohnK knows about those. Sign a message to him in PM with the original address and he will be able to verify you that way.

You should still be in the original spreadsheet. You are not. All 10000 of the chips were accounted for by people listed there.

Therefore I can't see how you are entitled to a refund.

If you can sign with one of the original funding addresses that might be a different story, but that means you should control an alias in that list.

I know this is awfully irresponsible of me, but I vanished for sometime.... Anyway, I looked at my MtGox transactions and it seems like I contributed 5.16 BTC to this a long time ago

Hey sorry about the delay. I just flew in for a business trip. I sent 5.16 BTC via MtGox.

The transaction is under way, for your information, the transaction ID is:
bc4ed5d44166100127dfacf04ffbdc4385e5c1fe19325118e3c4666ec3421156

Please let me know if there's issues with this transaction.

post in thread and PM JohnK thanks!
I'm an idiot about this I know... I sent my payment and then I got pulled in for a business trip that went to hell and I honestly have had a crazy life the past few months before I logged back in here.... Ugh. I never posted on this thread...
