Bithav, those are the Avalon blade boards, right? Is the microcontroller code available for those? I may just end up going that route...

Yeah it is available. But if not, why going with a different board and writing your code? If I have to write the code, I would use a proven hardware....

If anyone from this batch would like to sell a few of their chips, I'm interested in an additional 57 of them.  I already have 40 from this batch which is why I'd prefer to buy more from this batch - keeps it to a single shipment...

PM with offer.

>BKKCoins clearly stated it will be open source and has done so a number of times on his own schedule and not before he has tested the design out.

Open source usually means you make all the files in a project open for public viewing, in this case BkkCoins is keeping much of the project to himself and he's asking for licensing fees... Anyhow, if he's not releasing designs until it is "tested", that could be months from now.

Away on an extended break
Who should I talk to about getting the spreadsheet changed/my name put on it?
I'd also like to get my name put on the chips i bought from atcsecure and dserrano5
I would also like my name added by replacing rallye's since I bought all them from him.

Not to be too impatient but no response on this yet. I sent a PM to both raging and John with no response and I'm not one to spam their inboxes.

Can I at least get a quick one line post in the thread confirming that I wont get lost in the paperwork even if the spreadsheet isn't updated? Something?

If btc is the issue I am happy to pay to get this all squared away...but I'm not just going to blindly start tipping when this is the only experience I've had with either of you and I can't get a response anywhere.

PS: As I said above, only ragingazn controls the updated spreadsheet now. I think I've replied to you regarding this, right?  Huh

I'm still waiting for BkkCoins to release schematics and board files for the K16 and K64, I can't really do a logic-level review of the Klondike from what is up at github so far. I'd be wary of buying the Klondike board until there are some running prototypes or until the schematics are open-sourced and reviewed. I hope that BkkCoins decides to completely open-source his Klondike files, or possibly at least share that stuff with some of us who are arranging group-buys and have promised to pay the licensing fees.

Cheers, all

I'm reviewing the newest "Klondike" PCB schematics from BkkCoins today. He has agreed to let us license the boards for $2-3 per board, I'm guessing $2 for the 16-chip boards and $3 for the 64-chip boards would be fair, I'm sure he wouldn't mind a tip also for his hard work on designing these new PCBs.

I'll be ordering a couple 16-chip boards and a 64-chip board for my own needs from an assembler in California, getting them ready before the chips arrive. If you guys are interested, I can start a group thread for PCBs from the California assembler.

I hope RagingAzn can chime in here also. It would be great to get some of our "sample" chips onto a test board as soon as they arrive in the States. Cheers, all.
I thought the 64 chip boards were just 4x of the 16 chip boards pushed together?

They're 4 16 chip boards, printed on the same piece of FR4. So yes and no.
