I have 1x Gigabyte GTX 1060 6Gb (micron memory)

~300 sol/s and ~96w @ 62°c

and a EVGA 1070 8gb (micron memory too)

~430-440 sol/s and ~120w @ 58°C

The increase in temperature is because of the increase in power. Any specific reason why you increased it?

For the sake of losig 40sol/s id keep the first settings as you are getting better efficiency. Or as the other guy has said, reduce the power of the second settings, seems too high to me.

As I mentioned, I have cheap electricity so at that time I opt for higher hash rate. Increasing power limit gives me higher Sol/s.
Right now, I'm using the first settings, lower hash rate but in return I get to have good temperature on my card. My goal is to get a balance between hash rate and temperature, something that sit under 70C.
So far the cards didn't like memory clock above 550

I have x24 1060 3gb...

All different brands but all with Samsung memory i bought them before the chaos i paid 177 each.

They mining constantly at 24.7 mh with claymore 9.7 is the best now and the best setting are

+100 core
+750 memory
Fan set manual at 70% for all temp always 45/50 degrees
Tdp 55%
Drain at wall 525w each rig (6x 1060 3gb).

Guys witg hinix memory idk i never had one of them

I think the problem when switiching to other driver versions could be, that the uninstaller does not clean up everything.
I used that "Display Driver Uninstaller / DDU" tool now: http://www.guru3d.com/files-details/display-driver-uninstaller-download.html
I looks good and also the newest NVIDIA drivers work like normal. The hashrate drops down to 1 - 4 MH/s per card only, if that one is overclocked too much.

When you use Display Driver Uninstaller you should do that in Windows safe mode and start the program with admin privileges.

Nevermind. I got GPU-Z. Just found out I got the Hynix memory... Does anybody know which cards specifically have the Samsung memory?

Nope, it can even vary within the same model by the same manufacturer.

Guys,

How do you find out which type of memory your 1060 has in it? I looked all over the box and could not find anything.

You may try to install an app called GPU-Z, it will show detailed info about your graphics cards, including type of memory and speed.

BTW, I tried GPU-Z in Windows, I don't know if it support other OS...

So what's more profitable zec or Ethereum for 1060?I see people are getting max 25.2mh Ethereum vs 345 sol zec
Could you please point me to the miner for ZEC that yields 345 sols? And also the config please? (power, cc, mc and fan speed)

I'd love to know that too Cheesy 290 sol has been max for me so far..

i just buy 10x zotac gtx1060 6gb amp,all is the hynix memory... Cry Cry
only can get 15mh/s per card

They must be broken. Just built 3 Rigs with 8 Zotac cards on each. Each card runs between 23-24mh / 280-290 sols.
Send them back and ask for a refund or new cards.

384.94 caused mone to crash alot. 372.70 is best for me. Even the very latest 385 didnt work. Tried going back to the suggested 368 but it dropped thebhasrate down to 2mh (yes thats right 2mh) per card.

I switched also to 384.94, but since there some cards are slowing down to 1 - 4 MH/s per card instead of ~24 MH/s.
Do you know that problem?
Do you mean it runs at 1-4 Mh/s or it decreases 1-4 Mh/s from 24Mh/s?

Which is currently the best NVIDIA driver version for ETH mining on 1060 in Win 10 64 Bit?
I use 384.94 and it works exactly at the same speed as what Claymore suggests.
