Does anyone know where I can download the precompiled Windows Stratum proxy at?  The link from Slush's pool has been broken for a few days....-

Repost from another thread I don't think anyone checks!

Hey there, I got a few blades yesterday and I have read this entire thread, which has some amazing info!  But I am still having trouble!   This is what I got with 2 blades last night:

2 Generic PSU's papercliped.  17amp+ 12v.  2 individual molex strands cut and fed to blade. (2-4 yellows, 4-6 blacks) Direct from PSU
Blades configured properly for Deepbit and EclipseMC
For testing one blade is at 1.195 Volts  The other is at stock 1.05V
Both Blades on LOW,  With: Chip: OOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO
Blades being cooled with a insanely strong blower blowing through them long-ways.  (at least several hundred CFM, they are only warm to the touch)

Blades basically won't work on DeepBit no matter what I try.  Every once in a while they send a few shares.

On EclipseMC the blades show between 1-8Ghash on the Eclipse control panel on the site.  When I compare the shares against a 5.6ghash Jalepeno they seem to be doing more work, but not that much more.   This is what the config page looks like:
Total MHS:   00000
Received:   0000000215
Accepted:   0000000000
Per Minute:   000.00
Efficiency:   000.00%
Up Time:   0d,00h,01m,41s

They seem to be restarting almost exactly every 2 minutes and 15 seconds, weird right?

I don't think its a power issue,  I am NOT using the proxy (the links are down and I'm not sure they are useful for other pools?)

What am I doing wrong, is it a network issue with get-work?  They have been running like this for 8 hours now with same results.   Any ideas?

*****UPDATE******

I have tried the proxy now, it does not seem to connect to deepbit, but it does to EclipseMC,  However once I connected the blade it went to xxxxxxxOxxxOxxxxxx   And also did not mine.  I left this for over ten minutes, and have put it back to the way it was.  Now it is mining at the 4-7gh's the rest seem too be.   What am I doing wrong?

Ok, noobish question here. I have the latest (old blade) revision and for some reason when I connect it, All i hear are a few 'clicks' and then nothing.

Silly question: Did you perhaps forget to plug in the red fuse ?

The newest (old) blades have no red fuse? or did mine just really freaking ship without one.. Actually, I didn't get a Green connector either.. Did my blade arrive incomplete?

Ok... So my symptom is the same as this... except that I do have a red fuse, it is unbroken, and is inserted...
Yet same problem.. I don't get any ethernet lights on my switch, the blade doesn't appear to be doing anything, even though it sounds like it might be starting up. Those clicks mentioned plus a slight hum of a capacitor

Please help? :/

to provide stable power supply you must have 2 mm thick wire inserted into  green connector on board.  Loose connection can be a problem. Other reason, your LAN cable not connected properly. In this case blade is running but you will not see any light on network module. That can be due to LAN cable not attached properly or faulty cable, or because network module not incepted firmly into connector. Connect fan to connectors on board, and try again, if fan is running it is network problem. If fan is not running check your power supply and wires.

Hi guys, I keep seeing references for a schematic and to friedcats user guide.   It would seem my reseller couldn't be arsed placing them with the miners so I'm trying to find them through these threads.   Did not see it in Friedcats latest thread started early sept.   If anyone has a link it would be greatly appreciated.

cheers

That what you were after?

PM me some pictures of the wiring, you're doing something wrong. An unloaded PSU still turns on with a paperclip in.

Will do later this afternoon, thanks! (was trying to get it done in my lunchbreak, so much for that lol)

About the paperclip, I just meant, I thought you could take the paperclip out once the PSU started, provided there was enough load. Either way works for me, I'm just leaving it in for now, and PSU hums away.
I had a multimeter but I can't find it when I really need it the most (always the way right?) I'll buy a cheap one this afternoon on my way home.
I think that pin that is shorted is the way the motherboard controls the power - as soon as that short is removed it should turn itself off. At least that's my guess.

Hi!

I got my blades today (finally, customs is a batch...)

Anyway, I can't seem to get power to them.. I have connected the yellow and black wires from my PSU as shown in your pictures
I am manually keeping my PSU alive by keeping a paperclip jammed in (and I can hear its fan spinning) - (Which means it isn't getting enough load to stay on right?)
But the board doesn't seem to power up (no ethernet light on the switch)

I am stuck on what to do next to troubleshoot this? does anyone have some suggestions or encountered this issue before?

Thanks!

switch clock gives: Chip: xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx

Or do I need to set 1.2V on al channels first?

when the blades sitch over to other proxy (same moment they both switch) I see this:
2013-09-05 01:38:50,571 INFO proxy client_service.handle_event # New job 27094 for prevhash bc0f8289, clean_jobs=False

That is suggesting power isn't sufficient. Really double check your wiring before changing board voltages.

Not hashing @ full speed

today I received 2 blades,
But whatever I try, they re not hashing @ full speed and average around 6000 Mhash

Total MHS:   06285

Clock selected: Low
Chip: OOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO
IP   10.10.20.107
Mask   255.255.255.0
Gateway   10.10.20.1
WEB Port   8000

Secondary DNS   211.148.192.141
Ports   8332,8332
Server addresses 10.10.20.10,10.10.20.66

I Measured voltage on PSU: 11.5 - 11.7V,
tested with one blade: same result
PSU = OCZ 700W
the voltage measured on the 2r2 resistor  = +/- 1.06 - 1.065V
I have 2 stratum proxys on 2 PC's and the blades change server every x seconds it seems. If I refresh I see that they are using the other proxy a lot of the time. this is not normal I assume? Is it possible a problem with internal networking?

Efficiency is low, suggesting its processing shares at the correct rate, but they're outdated or generally wrong. Could be power, could be networking. See what increasing to high does (power problems would be evidential there).

Thanks for you reply.

Is it correct that my ip is different from my default gateway which is set as default in the blades miner software?

Gateway in the blades config is 192.168.1.1
The IPv4 of the computer running the proxy is 192.168.178.14

When looking up the numers in ipconfig it also says default gateway 192.168.178.1

You either need to change your subnet to 255.255.0.0 or change the IP address of the blades to 192.168.178.0
So you will be on same network

Solutions was indeed to change the IP of my blade.

I thought I shouldn't touch it because it was the default setting but in the end after some trial and error I just changed it and it was the key to the solution.

Forgot to post it here but you were completely right RicRock

Cheers and happy hashing to all

Can someone point me in the right direction please.

I installed the blade, installed te proxy, am running it to be pointed to btcguild.

But there are no hashes shown, nor shares completed.

I did put in my username like:
Username:pass,Username:pass

Also after some time the Clock selected switches back from high to low.

Help is appreciated.

if blade is not connected to any pool it will restart and try to connect to secondary pool, once it restarted, it will be on LOW mode. While you are testing your system better keep it on low mode.

In server address you need to put IP of you computer on which you running your proxy and in port you need to put proxy port

you start proxy with:  mining_proxy.py -o stratum.btcguild.com -p 3333

and in blades put

port 8332,8332
server address 192.168.1.10,192.168.1.10 for example, in case if IP of your computer with proxy is 192.168.1.10
