I need help with stratum-proxy not connect blade to work

Download and install teamviewer, its free. Its so much easier for me to just do it and set it up than try and troubleshoot remotely.

Regarding cabling from a standard PC power supply.
The blades draw up to 10A at 12V. A single yellow or black cable simply is too small diameter to carry the current so it gets hot ( in the same way as an electric fire element glows red). The cure is to double up the feeds into each terminal post and to remove any connectors.
In my case I have an 1100W PSU. I went through all the feedout cables and stripped off all the end connectors, separated all the yellow (+12V) and black (ground/0V) ones. I cut all the others off inside the PSU and added the green wire to ground link inside the psu case as well.
I then used 4 x yellow and 4 x black wires for each blade - simply twisting two together to put in each hole.
All cabling runs COLD at 1.20V/overclocked 13GH's per blade.
Not pretty but works fine!

Thanks guys i found the 8 pin pci-e cable and just as stated it has 3 yellow and 5 black. Have 1 last question, cant find the answer in the earlier posts. I understand they all need to be plugged in, but how do you distribute the 3 yellow into the two + holes? Do you just put 2 yellow wire into one hole, then 1 yellow wire into another?  and the black ground wires, same? 3 into the - hole, and 2 into the second - hole? thanks!
Yes.

I have put no less than *seven* +12V @5A (yellow lines), and the same 7x 5A lines for the ground (black).
Just to be on the safe side Wink and avoid overheating of the wires as much as my PSU allowed me.

I'm only using pins 1 and 3 of the power connector, but 1/2 and 3/4 are the same. I like to have them as spaced as possible to avoid short-circuits.

Use a PCI-E 8 pin or 12V ATX. You had a cheap brand of molex extender unfortunately.

Do you have a free pci-e wire on your PSU?

yes it's a modular psu, i have few pci-e wire, is that better than doing the molex route?

Hi guys, i got somewhat of an emergency here. This morning i noticed the power plug on my asic miner was burned through (melted?) and the yellow wires turned into black i am assuming from the heat.  i followed the instructions in the thread to wire it correctly i think and the asic miner is running fine except this.

I am using silencer mk3 bronze certified 600w power supply (high reviews on amazon) if it matters. Can anyone please let me know what i am doing wrong?  i have shut off the whole thing until i can find out what happened, dont want to start an electric fire and burn my whole building down  Shocked

Also is there a safer way to do this, i dont mind spending a bit more cash. thanks!

EDIT: And here we go. Thanks guys.

EDIT2: And the Corsair power supply fans don't even come due to this guy drawing so little power !

Expecting a blade in today and about to butcher two molex to sata adapters.

What am I supposed to do with the red wires ? Just leave them plugged into their ports and only clip the black and yellow wires ?
