hi, i'm just arrived and i'm thinking to get a cube. I found the link above but i don't understand, if i buy there the products are in europe? so VAT, import fees etc are included in that price?

and another question, if I use a PSU, i have to wire green and black wire to turn it on (and then turn on the cube) right?

hi, i received my cube today, as im a lucky guy, it doesnt work 

when i start psu, the fan spins and only one green light on sb power, nothing else, no power light, no ethernet,  is it normal

Check your Windows Firewall settings as well.

I've found the same thing divinesnail01 mentioned.  Multiple instances of the stratum proxy when running multiple cubes yield slightly better results for me personally.

If you're looking to run just a single cube, the XFX 550W that goes on sale for $20-ish after rebate every so often is a really decent choice for the money.

It's made by Seasonic.  It's only Bronze but it's a solid 44A +12V.

If you need to run multiple cubes the most cost efficient way might be a cheap Z750P and a server-grade power supply interface board.

That's applying an absolute where one isn't exactly correct.  Is it ideal?  No way.  Not at all.

But you're quoting specs for an overclocked cube. For a standard clocked cube I think it's 200W.

So for a supply with the right specs, wiring, connectors (like the kind that don't melt so easily!),e tc it's not impossible.

Definitely not recommended though.

Here is my current setup:
2x ASICMiner Cubes
1x Thermaltake 850W 80 PLUS Bronze (70A 12v rail) (http://amzn.com/B007BDJ58C)

I can't seem to get my cubes to consistently hash faster than ~28Gh/s...
I've been running these for about 1.5 months now, but using the HIGH clock mode doesn't seem to result in any change in hash rate at all. They are hashing great, with no X's on LOW or HIGH mode, but I'm feeling kinda bummed that the HIGH clock doesn't make ANY difference.

The PSU has plenty of power for both of these Cubes and I have also taken the cubes apart and made sure all the heatsink screws were tight. (One of the cubes had a fan that started rattling recently, so I replaced it with this (Bgears b-Blaster 120mm 2 Ball Bearing - up to 103 CFM airflow) (http://amzn.com/B0043GKY1W), which pushes a fair amount more air through the cube than the stock fan... and yet, hash rates still stay the same on both LOW and HIGH...

I'm just looking for some ideas as to if I just have to live with the lower than quoted hash rates, or if there is something that I can do to get the HIGH mode hashing at the faster rates.

Switched from 'mining_proxy.exe' to bfgminer, and seems to be much happier now (getting 33-36Gh/s on HIGH now)!!! YAY!!!
Although, I have a question... the 'mining_proxy.exe' allowed for me to connect and have the 2 cubes use different worker names, but bfgminer requires that I enter a user/pass before it even starts and throws all workers under that worker. Is there any way with bfgminer that I can have separate worker names, or do I have to just use a single worker name?

PSU is fine so its just unlucky. Although, are you using two PCI-E cables from DIFFERENT strands of cables?

Anyone able to offer me any advise on this?

1 Cube
1 Corsair CX600 PSU
1 Win 7 64bit about a year old Laptop acting as the proxy WIRED to a netgear router
