for some reason after i force flashed a nitro plus bios (anoraks) to my nitro non plus rx 480, i can now oc the memory to 2050mhz stable wherein my stock bios i can only go for 1850mhz OC otherwise it will crash.this somehow increased my hash rate to 22 to 29.can someone explain to me whats happening here.

Perfect Ty, out of interest, would the memory speed change affect gaming in anyway? Or add extra heat / power draw.

Are all the exact settings for altering the figures on your signature link that are specific to rx480 Asus strix, I wouldnt want to enter the incorrect values.
Could I just change the memory settings in the bios, as I presume that is what is given the card the biggest boost? and leave other settings, as I might change them via afterburner.

Yeah, I should mention it's yours, sorry for that. I've only mentioned you at the beginning. I've got 33+MH/s but only for few hours...It's not only *your* result.. others have gotten there too.. and you know it!

In afterburner, but it's limited, you can set voltages in Claymore also.

Completly fine. RX 470/480 and 570/580 use same install package with drivers. After mod you only need to use Pixel Clock Patcher, see the first post for download link.You can have even R9 series in one rig.
