Yes, those people wanted to push the price down by causing drama. Look at AUR page. Drama Drama Drama.

A most excellent drama I might say; I wouldn't mind at all, if Gulden were to switch to a self moderated thread as well. Fora, marketing, prices, comparisons, the keep-looking-backwards-mentality; it's all pretty tiresome...

Over 99% of the self moderated threads are created because they have something to hide (Usually scam history). I would dump my Gulden if the team were to self moderate.

Finally got the time to read the complete article and I think its a really nice article with good explanations .
So big kudos to Rijk and the rest of the Gulden team!

Good to see some recognition coming for Gulden. Nicely done Rijk.

What was the slack update on Friday all about ?

After this article I started getting real interested in Gulden again. Rijk is a good guy and wants the best for Gulden, lets forget about the zone forums and any other forum problems. Gulden is much more then a good forum, it's time to unite and give full support to this.

I did not know the goal was 1 Euro per NLG, I thought it was based on the old guilder value to euro, not that I am complaining.  Grin
I did some calculations on when Gulden will reach 1 billion supply using Aprils total block count.

Total blocks in April: 13335
Reward: 100

13335 * 100 = 1.33 million. April was a 30 day month , 444 blocks per day. Factor in additional 222 blocks for the 31 day months and use a total of 13557. Will exclude the 28/29 day Feb months.

Ave Total per month as it stands = 1.356 million coins a month.

1.356 * 12 = 16.272 million a year.

Coinmarketcap total including premine = 430 127 700

1 000 000 000 - 430 127 700  = 569 872 300 / 16 272 000

35 years before 1 billion coins are produced.
76 years before the total of 1.68 billion coins are produced.

1 Euro to me looks to be a very modest calculation, it has also suddenly clicked that if I was investing large amounts of money in scrypt mining I would want Gulden to succeed.

I have tested the following release on slack and it's brilliant, I don't want to give away what it is for now as it's exclusive to the slack community. The project was done by a community member, we have 131 users on slack and we welcome all users who are fans of Gulden to come and join us.

Also a reminder about the Nocks team announcement on the Gulden slack, we have 127 users on slack so please come join in the fun for Fridays announcement.

Please withdraw your coins from Novaexchange.

The exchange has been attacked and caused some trades in certain markets - to be honest - has messed up balances in a few accounts.

Please withdraw your coins from the exchange - right away. And do not send any coins here! Any deposits will be rejected!

Dont forget to click the verification link inside your e-mail in order to activate the withdrawal.

Note that as always we recommend people treat smaller exchanges with extreme caution, as our largest exchange where almost all of our volume takes place Bittrex is the safest choice. In general do not leave money that you can't afford to lose on exchanges for long periods of time as you never know what might happen.

This is good advise, I was caught when first starting to invest in alt coins.

We should most likely treat ALL exchanges with extreme caution considering the Cryptsy meltdown. They were one of the biggest...

Certainly, all exchanges should of course be treated with caution, though the smaller ones even more so.
