Liable for what i say, not for what you understand
Hey, I am a newbie here so I didn't catch whether your bot really works on MAC or not. Is it a best possible solution to buy a dedicated server for that? Thanks.

It works on MAC without GUI up to version 1.3
I will build a mac version for this beta release too (still headless)

I know people were able to run the beta on mac using docker too.

At what point bot realizes it won't go to %10 and just goes "well its not going to 10 let me buy at 7 now at least" ? How does it decide that? Code-wise.

Using the same "supergun" trend watcher it used with the 1 step gain of the 2.0.2b

Support coming from ema and volume.

Yeah I guess it is kinda like. You have 1 btc in total, you give %10 share to 10 pairs. One pair has 0.1 btc volume, you use %20 of it to buy at level1, if it goes down to level 2 you use %30 more and if it goes down to level 3 you buy %50 more using up all remainder of 0.1 at level 3.

If it goes up to level 1 you sell %20 and so forth like buying but selling part.

 Is that it gunthar?

Nope: the buy order will always be 1 only. The step gain makes you able to explore deeply down a dump and highest possible in a pump. If a level fails, the bot would buy to the below level or higher.

So:

if you have level 2 to 5% an level 3 to 10%, it will try to reach 10% and if it fails it buys somewhere between 5-10% (depends on volume)

Hope it helped.

Beta Release 2.0.3b - Windows (x86/x64) - Code name: "STEP-GAIN"

BUYLVL: 3, // buy level you want your gunbot to reach (example: i want my gunbot to buy when price reaches level 3)
SELLLVL: 3, // sell level you want your gunbot to reach (example: i want my gunbot to sell when price reaches level 3)

what dose this mean. it will not buy until it reaches lvl3 and sell until it reaches lvl3. what about lvl1,2 . can you  please elaborate

Beta Release 2.0.3b - Windows (x86/x64) - Code name: "STEP-GAIN"

Introducing you STEP-GAIN strategy at its first commit: this is a modification of supergun algorythm as discussed in the Telegram group. You now have 3 levels of buy % to set and 3 levels of sell %. Any of these levels is reached (in the dump or in the pump), the bot performs the max possible % of profit,

Examples:

BUYLVL1: 1, // first level margin to buy when currency decreases its value (example: buy when currency decreases 1% of EMA)
BUYLVL2: 3, // second level margin to buy when currency decreases its value (example: buy when currency decreases 3% of EMA)
BUYLVL3: 5, // third level margin to buy when currency decreases its value (example: buy when currency decreases 5% of EMA)
SELLLVL1: 2, // first level margin to sell when currency increases its value (example: sell when currency increases 2% of paid)
SELLLVL2: 5, // second level margin to sell when currency increases its value (example: sell when currency increases 5% of paid)
SELLLVL3: 10, // third level margin to sell when currency increases its value (example: sell when currency increases 10% of paid)

You can decide to use one or more levels of step gains by using the following configs:

BUYLVL: 3, // buy level you want your gunbot to reach (example: i want my gunbot to buy when price reaches level 3)
SELLLVL: 3, // sell level you want your gunbot to reach (example: i want my gunbot to sell when price reaches level 3)

Other fixes:

No more pending and unfulfilled BUY orders: the bot deletes the not needed orders after a sell loop
Fix 1000trades for 2.x
Fix "Best currencies" for 2.x
Tabbing all consoles in one single form
BEWARE: the bot is backward compatible ONLY with 2.0.2b save.json files. Any previous versions OR if you want to be 100% sure of a smooth transition: place sell orders manually of all your holdings.

Please report any bug immediately!!!
Thanks!

For example i made deposit 1 BTC and i trade with 10 pair. Each pair have "Max balance per trade" = 0.01. I can expect here 1-2% EV from only 10% of my deposit. because only 10% of my money involved. Right?
Correct. I would suggest you to raise max balance per pair though, to make best use of all your capital.

Thank you, you guys amazingly good support GUNBOT!

Hey,

Probably asked this question a lot, but what is the amount what person with knowledge could make example weekly with 1 BTC deposit example?
You can expect to make anywhere from 1 to 2% a day with GUNBOT.

I would say that this is correct, but 1 to 2% per pair, not per day imo. Some pairs don't trade much, some trade every day. 1% on .1 btc everyday isn't 1% on 1 btc everyday.

you can make much more (from personal experience) but it depends of your "knowledge" lvl and a bit of luck.

P.S. you could also lose much more than you think you will/could lose, especially if you are greedy. Honestly it is kinda irrelevant question coz too many factors are included and neither i gave the right answer, nor Henkkaa, nor could any1 for that matter.

Expecting and actually making is 2 very different things..

If the price goes down, the bot can buy more, or you can turn off that pair and trade it manually or wait. All you have then is a coin waiting to get it's 1% longer. If it goes down 25% for 30 days, then back up 31%, then that pair made 1% in 30 days right.

(I've read a lot, don't see this, if I over looked it - apologies)

Are there computer minimum suggested requirements?  Does the PC's performance affect the efficiency of trades?

Does the internet connection make any significant difference?

I'm trading 12 pairs over a 512mb digital ocean ubuntu 16 box (5USD/mo.)
With windows same result on an amazon aws free tier (1gb)

Internet must be on all the time but if it disconnects, the bot is able to start from where it left.

WTF is that?  "512mb digital ocean" - is that a hosted computer?
I was expected processor, ram, hdd specs?  OS

the 5bucks/mo.
