I just got out of a new customer PM, he was (of course) complaining because the big red on poloniex. Just for all new comers to altcoin trading i will repeat what i said already: do not rely on poloniex "estimated" balance. That balance is not your REAL balance: the GUNBOT didnt sell all your altcoins when BTC raised but it will sell when altcoins will go up again!!! It is a normal scenario: BTC goes up == altcoins go down. The only one that that made its day is MAID today: profit despite bullish BTC

That is a question I would like hear an opinion on. I've been manually trading with a little more than that but it is a pain. I'm sure more profit with less invested could happen if it's more automated and less supervised. I would love to try it from a old noob perspective. Thanks for creating it.

First: the math. The GUNBOT invests 10% of total BTC balance for each trade. Upon request i can set a configuration option to let you decide about that 10%. As i said i didnt set it by default because i KNOW...someone would go ALL-IN...so i'm trying to prevent this as much as possible but again: if you ask, i can let you decide under your very own responsability.

So doing maths: if you have 1BTC on poloniex it would invest 0.1BTC for each trade. I suggest a minimum 0.6% of profit for each trade (below that value you risk to trade at loss due to poloniex fees). 6000 satoshis of profit per each trade (as minimum). Actually (see proofs on above posts) i am getting about 10 daily trades per pair (i have my GUNBOT running on 8 pairs actually: XMR, ETC, ETH, FCT, MAID, STEEM, XRP, DASH).

Hopes it helped a bit, if you have further questions or need to dig into this a bit more, just ask.

Running a couple days trial woudnt be representative of the altcoin markets IMO: for example if you run in the last 24 hours you would have seen only a couple of trades out of 6 or 10 traded pairs due to the bullish BTC and consequential alts dumps Cry

I can do it for you but IMO the 15 days trial out of the box in the purchased version, would give you a better view of the GUNBOT potential.
Look at how trades suddenly stopped by yesterday BTC raising in the below picture!!! THey will surely recover soon as the rampage is over, lol, and i'm sure i will get a long list of "sell" by monday but...if i had to judge it by the below figures...i would define it pretty....BORING Cheesy

just got curious with your gift mate it seems that your bot really works well i will try to liquidate some of my asset to buy a copy one thing is for sure will be always question to you, how sure we can profit or how long we can recover the price that we pay for the bot, i understand its a newbie question i also chasing those alts from polo and wait for them to pump up after the dumped.

Today has been a great day again for ETC on GUNBOT. Other 2 pairs has performed very well too: FCT and MAID. Interesting fluctuations with a good number of trades from XMR and XRP as well. Week MON-FRI returns has been 14% of total invested BTC. Not bad!
