I keep running into this error with my trade bots:


Could you point me into the right direction? I remember fixing this problem by checking the 95% all-in option before, but now I can't find that on the trade server -- and I also don't want to use the 95% option. Is this still a bug, or is my bot configured poorly?

In fact, if you want to be fair, what you would have to do is return the 0.05 BTC people have paid for the upgrade and upgrade everyone for free or a reduced marginal cost. That's what you had previously announced, afterall.

Yes there are lots of expenses when creating a company, registration, fiscal advisors... but if you don't fully satisfy your current customers, you risk loosing future sales. And the 'cost' of missing on future sells is certainly higher than not getting 0.05 BTC per upgrade.

I honestly don't know how people is okay with paying again. Me for instance, when I purchased the simple bot I paid 0.60 BTC. Now you sell the newer one at 0.45 BTC and I still would have to pay 0.05 BTC if I want to be fully upgraded. So no, I still don't see the fairness in all this until everyone gets upgraded to a fully featured new version, not a cut down version, I believe I paid enough to have that 'privilege'.

Does the new version of STB support trading Doge/LTC on Cryptsy? If no, what currency pairs are supported and when will this be added?

I am new to trading with a software bot so I want to buy STB first. Is it possible to upgrade to ATB at later date for an upgrade fee? If yes, what is the upgrade fee?

This is one of the effects of going legal with the software. When i am selling something i need to change VAT. This is what i need to pay to the government here. Do not worry, i have included into the price.

If your country accepts bitcoin as legit payment and if you are a company too then you can ask VAT back most of the times.

I will port the remaining user of the Simple Trade Bot over to the new version. It will not be fully equal to the version people get when they renew there license but it will be close (i have to be fair here). I hope i will make a lot of people/users happy with this and i can continue the support as i did before. Its something i do good (this is what people say) and i will keep this up.

I indeed use the trade amount in the fee-overcome calculation. But i do not use in the way you think. You are totally right i should use 1 BTC because the fee-overcome looks the the current prices (and those are based on 1BTC) but this is only true for 1 BTC and up. Below 1 BTC the assumption will go wrong, because at that moment the trade-amount becomes leading in the calculation. To explain it more easy, the needed market change is smaller because of the smaller trade-amount.

I'd prefer just to talk about the technical stuff but I'll leave this here as no one has really said what I want to. I'm a little surprised at some of the interpretations people have had about what the pricing scheme would be for the advanced trade bot you just released. It seems fair to me, and in line with what you'd posted. The only thing I would be concerned about is if I wished to solely use the simple trading bot, that from now you may not support it as much as you had in the past.

I posted a few pages back regarding the fee overcome, I've been busy since then but managed to have a look at the update you put out (9.12 I think), but I still don't think it's right. For BTCe, with % fees, the amount that the price has to raise or drop in order to 'break even' should only be a function of the fee, and the buy/sell prices. The amount I am trading with does not matter, I can't think how to express this elegantly with maths, but I'll have a go.

I start with $1000. I buy bitcoins on BTCe at $800/BTC. With the 0.2% fee I will receive $1000/($830/BTC)*(1-0.002) = 1.2475 BTC. (Eqn. 1)
In order to break even I must sell these bitcoins for 1.2475 BTC * ( $X / BTC ) * (1-0.002) = $1000. (Eqn. 2)
Solving for X gives $1000 / 1.2475 / (1-0.002) = $803.209... the amount which I must sell for in order to pay for the fees (and make no profit).

If you follow the above with different starting amounts you will get the same selling price.

Mathematically if you substitute the amount of bitcoins purchased from Eqn. 2 into Eqn. one (after rearranging Eqn. 2) we have:

$1000/($830/BTC)*(1-0.002)=$1000/($X/BTC)/(1-0.002)

dividing by the starting amount ($1000), and rearranging for the sell price ($X/BTC), we have:

$X/BTC = $830/BTC / (1-0.002) / (1-0.002) or $X/BTC = $830/BTC / (1-0.002)^2

or, more simply,

sell price = buy price / (0.998^2)

which is not a function of the trade amount.

I think that explanation is about 10x longer than it needed to be, and I feel like I'm stating the obvious, but maybe it helped someone haha.

Is that your understanding too Stephan? It appears to me the tradebot fee overcome is based on the amount you enter to trade with.

I really hope not to much people will fall for this, at a nice scam but as you can see its beeing forced upon you. Do not fall for it, for the safety of your own coins.

Well, who uses what indicators? Those who already have experience in the buy-sell? my boat for the night did not do anything until ...
I use 2 indicators: RSI standart and MACD-Histogram standart settings/ All insuranse are ON/ Safeties is OFF/

I have the standard upgraded liscence.  Believe it surports 3 bots.  I haven't read up on the advanced liscence yet.

How much is the unlimited bots option?

Its interface is sweet.  My first impressions wasn't that good till I started to get a hang of it and find a few work arounds to get what I wanted.  I'm excited.

So, what the heck I am supposed to do?

Is there any way I could see what the new bot looks alike before sending you more money? And what's the price of option 3, I can't open you new sites at all?

There is no browser that is advised to be used. The interface is HTML-5 and CSS-3 and all browsers should be able to support this properly.

But in your case is sounds like some javascipt is being blocked. This "drives" the menu and the showing and hiding of items. Because the problem looks consistent i think this must be the cause. Maybe you can have a look at it? (i am not really sure this is the cause)
