I actually just remembered something. For anybody that actually knew me on the forums, from the collectibles section, would know that I set up the following website and asked dozens of members for their valuable contribution of item images through the slack chat that was active at the time:

http://www.cryptoitems.com/420day.php

It is not definitive, but I am happy to take further steps.

I am not here to debate the rights and wrongs of Yobit, that is for you to decide. I am here because there is a thread accusing me of selling or having my account hacked.

Most of those posts you reference are garbage with no real evidence to support the original accusation. Like I said before, there are numerous reasons why people would accuse Yobit of being a bad exchange, whether that is competitors trying to denigrate a rival, people buying into a coin where the infrastructure disintegrates or people who made bad trades and are now unhappy to be left holding a loss.
I have real life friends that lost money on Yobit and a local coin community in my country had their coins stuck by Yobit for months while they ignored their support messages. Please, don’t act like you know Yobit is legit and everyone that lost their coins with them is dumb. Being in someone’s signature campaign is no reason to start closing your eyes for the bad things about them. That’s just dishonesty.

Quote
If Yobit is such a terrible place then why haven't the staff here blocked the URL? It would literally take two seconds through the admin panel to block a domain name. Since the URL is allowed, I have to assume the signature campaign is also permitted.
Because scam aren’t moderated here. That’s what the trust system is for (Yobit is -16 here). Unfortunately, most Newbies tend to ignore the warnings and end up losing their coins later.

It is common sense that people should do their own due diligence when it comes to researching any new platform they wish to use and this is no exception.
TIL it’s ok to advertise scam, shady and dishonest websites because it’s the user’s obligation to do his own research about new platforms anyways.

would that satisfy you?

You don't have to satisfy me. This topic is not about satisfying me. This topic was created to show your profile and behaviour to smarter than me who could check if this account was hacked or not (that's why i put "?" in topic.. Its question topic not accusation topic). You are top 70 most trusted member. You could scam a dozen of people with this trust. That's why i reacted. To prevent other from being scammed not to offend you.

Those are facts. Yobit is the shadiest exchange there is and this has nothing to do with users buying shitcoins.

-snip-

Not only this, but there is their InvestBox pyramid, their new IEOs that were only created to make them money and the tons of balances they have frozen because they got sick of some coin or don’t want to update their nodes (essentially stealing their users).

@Fortify

I think it's something of odd behavior for someone like you, included in the top 70 trusted members (as the OP has said). Maybe the idea of joining one of the signature campaign resurrecting to life (if it's legit) when you were inactive for a long time, that's just shady. I want to know why all of a sudden.

Maybe if the original owner suddenly asks for recovery, then we can now. It's either it's been hacked or it's an alt of a higher positioned member. Just my two cents.

Thanks, but I have never had any interaction with you ever, so how can you presume to judge?

I am happy to go through this with any member of staff to further verify my identity. This place is seriously full of conspiracy nuts.

By calling Yobit a "shady exchange campaign.. with huge amount of scam accusation" you most definitely are judging them, do you not see the paradox?

I have no doubt that people have lost money on Yobit, but then I also have no doubt that people would throw money at any old shit coin and feel angry when what they are holding is no longer worth anything. I have seen no real evidence that they are a scam and they have been operating for years.

I never signature verified the account, so I don't know how I can prove otherwise. I am happy to verify my mailing address with anybody that has previously conducted business with me. Yes I am posting more because I want to earn money through Yobit, don't see why that is anyone elses business? I reset my password because I forgot what it was, you know - the main reason people reset account passwords.

As for spam, that is subjective - I try to post at least 3 sentences of relevant content, although admit that one or two posts may be subpar.

Guess what... I'm not asking you... If you would hack this account what else would you write here? That you are a hacker? Of course, you would write here that you are not and I'm the stupid one that should
sticking nose in my own business.

Do not take it personally. You are top 70 most trusted members. You were selling items for bitcoin and now after 6 months idle coming back changing password joining shady exchange campaign (with huge amount of scam accusation which I'm not judging are true or not) and posting 40 posts per 2 days. It looks extremely strange. That's why I've created this topic.

Guess what, if you are accusing me of not being the original owner of this account then you will get an answer, what else do you expect?

Now to the crux of the matter, you want some evidence that I am who I say I am. I have not been around for 6 months as you say - because I got bored of bitcoin and spent time elsewhere. Yesterday I received an email from Yobit announcing that they were restarting their affiliate program, which I have promoted in the past and doing the math it seems like a good way to earn some extra money.

Anyway, since I never signature verified it seems that another form of verification has to take place. One of the last people that I conducted business with was the user "chronicsky" (Trust rating: 307) and if I was to work out a way for them to confirm my identity, would that satisfy you? I only mention them because they were just online, so will likely be online again soon.

In regards to user: hacker1001101001

I have never been familiar with the signature verification process, but have a coinbase account and from what I have read in the past - they make it impossible to sign due to the structure of their wallets? I still have access to the coinbase account so should be able to receive money to that address, but I don't think forwarding it on has any connection to the original receiving BTC address?

You have posted this BTC address before resetting the password. You could proof the ownership by signing a message from one of these.

3GA6Y7oU4g23Uo8GUbr2bWhz7kSJ3bMcrX

OR

Address: 3KtrrgkVUTFy48qQgap7t8JdBmjA8sg3WB

I am happy to verify my mailing address with anybody that has previously conducted business with me.

Recent password reset already confirms that you own the email. But that does not proof the real ownership as email could be hacked too.

Is this account hacked?

Fortify

Legendary member, 130+ trust (68 most trusted account) spamming with yobit signature (40 posts in 2 days). He reset his password just yesterday.

There is no change of email,if the account was hacked then original owner can still lock it.

Didn't find huge change in the posting habits but high trusted accounts need to be verified by the DT members if possible.
