Hi shrekinator, that sounds great, everything looks good; the Fire tablet might work depending on browser version as Amazon likes to customize the Fires.

Browser mining may become a trend, since few people have computational capabilities for classical PoW, but opens a discussion for vulnerabilities.
Hi Mihawk, thanks for your thoughts. Everyone who is selected for the alpha will keep all of the coins they mine. In addition, they will receive ranks for the pre-sale tiers.
As for vulnerabilities, we actually believe browser mining is much more secure for miners compared to installing random unsigned mining software directly on your computer.
Browsers like Chrome are one of the most tested, monitored and maintained pieces of software in existence; multi-billion dollar companies like Google, Oracle and Microsoft deploy their apps via browsers.
In terms of Hadron network security, each of the founders have over a decade of designing cryptographically secured apps to massive scale and stability.

Certainly. We'll have more details on the website and whitepaper next week, but to summarize:
Mining for most people will be done entirely in your web browser. GPU acceleration will help, but is not necessary.
Instead of a winner-takes-all mining approach like Bitcoin or Ethereum, Hadron's proportional mining allows people with weaker machines, including some smartphones, to still earn and spend. You don't need 6 GPUs or join a pool to earn, although having a more powerful computer means more proportional earnings. Mining is ASIC-resistant.
"Mining" is actually running AI computations for Hadron.cloud customers. That means your browser will be running useful neural network computations instead of just a repetitive cryptographic hash puzzle. Potentially, some of these computations can benefit humankind, including detecting diseases like cancer in radiology imagery.
The idea behind Hadron is to maximize impact by letting as many people as possible participate.
