This book is much larger at
8.5 x 11 inches*, as opposed to 6.14 x 9.21 for the paperback version. The content of the book is the same, but some new coins and manufacturers have been added. Due to the size of the book, there is much more white-space surrounding the content, and it has a much more artistic feel. It is made to be proudly displayed, and it is made to last.
I have decided to offer you all something extra. While the book is being printed in the same type of color as the first version for $150 as promised, a 'Premium Color' version is also being released for $50 extra. anyone who has already ordered a hardcover (AE or not) may upgrade to the Premium Color book for $50. I HIGHLY recommend this upgrade to all AE books.

1-20 will be designated as the 'Autographs Edition'.The Autographs Edition is truly something special. It brings together some of the biggest names in physical crypto-currency, and puts their signatures into the book; right on their own pages! What's more, some of these will include the original holograms of these various individuals, providing 'the real thing' right next to the photo! Since this book has ample white-space, the signatures and holograms will appear very clean and well-appointed, whereas they may look more crowded in the original paper-back.
The Story: On May 27th, the creator of the famous Bitcoin Penny posted an image of his signature (and an accompanying doodle) on his page in the book. This inspired bithalo (Howard Kesselman, the book's editor) to collect signatures from the most esteemed crypto-mints, creating sets of signatures. Of these 50 sets, 20 are being dedicated to the Autograph Edition. Of the remaining autographs, 15 are being given to the autographers, and up to 10 are being eventually sold by bithalo as loose sets. These loose sets are perfect for those who already own a paperback Encyclopedia and do not want the larger coffee-table version. This process is documented here:
