Hey rphk that of course is correct. But how many women do you know that know about Bitcoin or use it? Have u ever had the thought that it might have been a woman that has created the Bitcoin?  Bitcoin feels very emotional yet extremely stable.

If this is true and Bitcoin was dominated by men, then women will have the last laugh about this experiment. Just image if they dump the Satoshi hoard at the worst time, and then have the ultimate revenge over the men, who have thought for years that Satoshi was a man. Would that not be funny. ^smile^

So all men, must bow to women now. ^lol^

Many members of this forum are females but they just don't keep specifying they are males or females. There are females who invest in stock market and forex as well but if we compare the number, it's more a male dominated market rather than a female oriented market. Even IT professionals have more females as it was in my college so it can't be determined.

I think Satoshi is not just IT professional. He, is an innovator and a visionary, something like Linus Torvalds, Bill Gates, Steve Jobs, ect.  And most of them are male.

However, Satoshi could be a team of people, at this case a gender is irrelevant.

It is rarely thought and people tend not to believe it per se:

has a woman created Bitcoin? Why is this possibility always ruled out?

I believe a group of women has created Bitcoin.

Why not?

No one knows but everything is possible,im interested to know the reasons why you believe that a woman or a group of them have created bitcoin.

like many here I think bitcoin was a project done by many people not just one. So I think a woman / women were
part of the team.  This isnt the 1600's women are tech savvy just like men.

It is a possibility but I will let it slip. First and foremost if a woman made that cryptocurrency why did she named herself a man, it must be a woman's name and not of a male. This just imply that it is a man, satoshi nakamoto is name to represent the masculinity of the maker. Having said that a woman was behind the creation was a good idea but it will not buy out.

All is possible, a woman, a man, a group of mans, a group of women, a mixed group. I don't see any problem witch who created bitcoin. I think it was a group of people that created bitcoin, not an individual.

Raimonn is right,From Above.
Do you really need answering these hilarious questions? It is really not important,in my opinion you should be happy that someone have invented it,
Hmm,lately I see a lot of "btc and women" threads, where is the point of making them?

If u think about it - it is absolutely mindblowing and amazing that there are exactly 2^160 possible addresses Bitcoin addresses, and so is the chance that a woman or a group of women or wizards have created the Bitcoin. 2^160 is 1461501637330902918203684832716283019655932542976. That is amazing.

It is very well possible that the creator of Bitcoin is a good looking girl. It could be very much the likeliest scenario in the long run.

~CfA~

The likeliest scenario in the long run is that a woman didn't create bitcoin and that it was a small group of people already known to be the creators.. There isn't anything to think about.

I believe you are right about the group, and there was some woman's, why not? I think we can believe in what ever we wish, and I also believe it was a group and not just one man. I doubt there was all women's involved in creating of bitcoins, but I was wrong many times, so I give a little chance even for that to be possible.

We will need to wait many more years for reak truth, maybe we will never know. Time will tell who was creator of bitcon.

I think women are excluded from Bitcoin way too much. Most women think Bitcoin is bad.

Totally wrong. Nobody excludes women from Bitcoin. Most of them are simply not yet as interested in Bitcoin like males due to gender-specific preferences. But that will change over time, when Bitcoins usability and utility increases.

Personally I think it is unlikely that a group of women created Bitcoin. Firstly there is no indication that a group was working on Bitcoin - at least not from the communication from Satoshi. Secondly, math and IT-related professions are almost exclusively populated by men. So while it is not unthinkable that a few brilliant women created Bitcoin, the probability is very low.

No is was not a women who has created the Bitcoin if I am correct, to me it does not even matter who created it. We have had many people who claimed that they invented the Bitcoin.
So I do not pay any attention to this any more, who ever created it I am grateful to you.

Gender really don't matters however i can't believe that the actual satoshi is or was a woman. Usually woman are not tech freak back to 2009 so that is a strong reason why i think satoshi is a old man or a young genius boy.
