I watched the last LOL championship, and although I understand this game, I didn't even roughly understand the strengths of the teams (for example, why T1 was not considered the favorite of the tournament), but after watching several rounds everything becomes more or less clear. In addition, studying the odds and comparing with the game quickly gives an understanding of which teams are overrated by the bookmakers and which are not.
Its hard when you arent really that interested on a particular game then you would really be finding out to be hard on realizing everything thats why im
not really making any bets on games which i dont know.

I wouldnt risk out no matter how small my bet is and i would always go after on something which im knowledgeable about and not just taking a shot
on things that im not aware of.

When it comes to betting then i had been betting on Dota 2 since im also a player too.

It depends on what kind of betting approach is used by the person. I act like you and place bets in those games where I already have an understanding and can quickly figure out the current situation. Some people believe that this is not necessary at all and that you need to look only at the numbers (odds). I do not condemn this approach, it makes sense if you have come up with some kind of system in order to place more profitable bets on average than the bookmakers offer.

I don't usually place bets on esports betting but I placed bet 3-5 times before when the only available live game is esports they do have a live stream which I do like it is on Twitch actually they are good the only problem is some gamblers like me didn't know the team and their skills I think younger generation gamblers are interested on this kind of sports.

I usually don't bet on games with low tier teams in low tier tournaments with a low price pool because there i am always afraid, that the matches may be fixed.
high risk, high reward. I know people who make more money placing bets in obscure tournaments than in big events because more often than not the bookmakers won't price the matches correctly due to the lack of info (of the team, league, players, historic data, stats, etc). I wouldn't recommed this "strategy" to the average bettor, takes a lot more effort and time to make some decent bank, i'd rather stick to the popular leagues.
I will still choose to only bet when I really know the sports and the teams. The odds of winning in betting in random games that we don't know or understand is too risky. We alreadybat risk when betting so what more if we dont have any knowledge about it. Id been a bettor but only in games or whenever the team I support is playing.

Hey guys,

I am currently attending the ICE London event today and there is evidently a massive focus on esports this year. So I wanted to find out if anyone has recently bet on anything esports related?

There was a live esports game today (CS:GO) at ICE with GG.Bet covering the betting, with the match taking place between Mad lions and OG esports.

You can watch the video here: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=UnMYAd_O0xk

Let me know if anyone bet on this game!
I am betting in ESport but will never invest in your related site providing here because your Tag says it all that you are a shill of a scam site.
I have been into Esport , a year ago I made some funds in betting with Esport. Then when I was operating with Esport their service was okay to me but I don't know about now if it is still like then I was into it.
what ESports have you been involving mate? can you please give us example in which games are those? i am willing to hear and start my betting also.

Doesnt understand on how it works? LOL! This is just typically betting on those teams when it comes to tournaments or competitions just like on whats happening on physical sports. If you dont know the game then it would be just simply be hard for you to consider on make bets if everything wouldnt really be that be part of your interest or specially your game but if you do know about that certain market  then you could really able to make bets if you wanted into. Doesnt really need some sort of critical thinking on how thing owkrs because it is really just a typical betting on things you do know.

KTChampions and Ralle14 made the same point! Of course, I checked again, and as you all saying it's pretty simple! I am trying to remember what was confusing for me, and in which casino... but I can't, it was a long time ago! Clearly I overlooked something, what was that I can say, I can assume that I saw the US odd system, maybe something else... clearly I mixed some things in my mind and had totally wrong opinion about betting on esports, especially on LoL!

It seems like eSports is a massive growth industry and we are still in the very early days of it. I think the reason we see so many of the older games like counter strike and league of legends, as opposed to many of the newer games (e.g. call of duty) on betting sites basically comes down to cheating. We're unlikely to see much sports betting going on outside of highly regulated arena style games, where players have to use host provided machines that cannot be interfered with in order to make sure everyone is playing fairly. Covid would actually have put this whole scene on ice for a while because it's so easy to modify and introduce hacks to machines at "home" that would be untraceable but wildly rig the game in a cheaters favor.

I play Dota 2 myself from time to time and i also like to watch professional matches of Dota 2 since many years now and i watch almost every big tournament on twitch. I also think it is a great esports to place bets on, at least during major tournaments with a big price pool. I usually don't bet on games with low tier teams in low tier tournaments with a low price pool because there i am always afraid, that the matches may be fixed. If you only get 500$ for winning a match why would a team not accept to lose a match willingly if they get paid 600$ for example. You don't have that problems at big tournaments.

Ever since the boom on Esports popularity I started betting on League of Legends teams and Overwatch teams as these are the ones that I am most familiar with. I also tried Fantasy drafting but it didn't really tickle my fancy so I came back to regular esports betting. I can say it's much easier to bet on esports rather than regular games because you can really see the games even in the player's perspective, giving you confidence to either bet more or bet less.
All matters with preference because im both esports bettor(dota2, cs:go) and at the same time im also a sporst bettor too (NBA). It doesnt really give
you out  restriction or limitation as long you do have money to play and what do interest you in.I have placed lots of bets on esports bets since
im a gamer since from my highschool days then it would really be just entertaining to make out bets into those teams that you had idolized wayback
even up to now.Even we have hit by pandemic but esports industry havent been affected that much.

I'm thinking of placing some bets on upcoming csgo games.
I also did place some bets on lol worlds on the final game but ended up losing because DWG lost and to my surprise, the face of Showmaker is on meme pages these days.
Don't know if he's thinking about losing to the Zoe pick by an enemy team that he took himself before defeating T1.

I don't bet on esports because I don't understand how that works... Once I checked some betting markets for League of Legends, I like to watch it when I have free time, I also play it when I have free time, so I am interested only in that game! But, as I said when I checked the market everything was confusing for me!
To be honest, I didn't try to understand it and to check how it works, I just postponed that for later... but that latter never came! When I watch some LoL games I think about checking it more closely and getting more involved, but I really need more free time! I hope with more free time (when kids get older a bit) I will get more involved in esports betting!

E-sports betting is on trend these days especially that we're in the midst of a pandemic situation. Most young players prefer E-sports since we're in the modern technology era. Most of my friends are hooked to E-sports betting because it's too exciting and a skill-based game for online players. I'm sure that the E-sports community would continue to grow now that online sports are even growing.

I remember back in 2015 during the glory days of dota2lounge.com, people used to bet their in-game dota 2 skins that were very difficult to get. I remember, people used to trade 5 rare items for 1 mythic quality item back in the days. From all the bettings that I used to do, I've won like $50 worth of skins in total (I started from $0.5 worth of skins). Unfortunately during my last bet, I betted against the favored team to win but I lost miserably.

E-sports betting has become a trend nowadays due to its fanbase around the world. Not to mention, the stakes are so high that the prize pool involves millions of dollars at its disposition. No wonder that e-sports betting will be one of the future of betting.

For me it's the complete opposite, I guess it just depends on how well you know sports betting overall since it's easy to understand the different markets like match winner, map handicaps, and other prop bets.

The tricky part is observing the scene consistently, and knowing the best and worst composition in the current patches since you could take advantage of the picking phase sometimes.

I watched a significant part of the championship that ended the other day (at the same time I tracked the odds and odds live) and I can say that there is no particular difference from betting on football or tennis. The only thing that seemed to me was a greater volatility in the odds (maybe due to the fact that the situation in the game is changing more dynamically), but this is a clear plus as it gives the bettor more opportunities.

eSports bets are now growing very well.
It is not only on online gambling but also offline. Moreover, during the pandemic, eSports are growing very significantly. So far, we know also many more eSports games are coming around. And some reputable gambling platforms also provide this.
Well, this is interesting, moreover for young gamblers, may be very interested in esports betting.
Dota  maybe still my favorite

Its growing well and finally those team that throwing game is already minimized compared before due to strict monitoring and the increase prize pool on each tournament. At first I thought e-sports betting is delusional since many e-sports are young and they can do whatever they want on the game including not playing seriously and just for fun. So even a top tier team before can be beat by the low tier team if the match happened on a low tier tournament but with the implementation of DPC system, Team are obligated to do there best on all tournaments because they need DPC points to join the TI. So no room for throw game.

Not only the young ones are into esports. Actually, the foundation of the esports industry are the older ones that have dreamt of this industry and right now, the young ones are the ones that are taking the fruit of the labor of those earlier esports folks that have pushed this dream for everyone.

I'm sure that the E-sports community would continue to grow now that online sports are even growing.
It will and it's already a job and career for those that are already into this industry. The players got salary, the staff, the management got profit and it's all because of the support of the sponsors and brand companies.

Esports betting is already famous even on pre-pandemic situation on which esports did really make out some popularity.Somehow it cant really be denied on how this turns out for this pandemic did  really

give out significant effect on adding up more people on seeing and watching and make out bets on esports.Even myself considered out to be a esports bettor specially on Dota2 and CSGO.

Esports is already a big industry it might not really be that having much attention but its there and to know that even tournaments did really have multi-million dollar prize pool
which basically means that this is a big market.
