I bet on esports before actually trading crypto currencies. This probably because I played a lot of CSGO myself. When watching streams of the tourneys it comes from its own that you have favourite teams and want to get on them. The big thing for me to go into betting on esports was the skin market behind CSGO. High quality knives are being traded for thousands of dollars. So betting with skins was a great way to make a profit. Even today the CSGO skin market is looking strong. Skin prices keep rising which makes betting so attractive.
This seems like an area of opportunity that can be exploited by those with the right knowledge, sport betting can be a very difficult field to get profits as casinos have all the statistics and tools to price games perfectly but esports are relatively new so it is impossible they can do this right now, especially since games change all the time and are updated and what was a good strategy becomes obsolete, so if you have a lot of knowledge on those games and you can earn profits may be this is the time to take advantage of it.

When it comes to e-sports betting then I do usually hang out with;

GG.bet,Loot.bet and cloudbet.com

2 of them accepting cryptocurrencies which do make even more convenient for me and the one is that old and famous esports betting platform since from the start.

GG.bet is also my go-to, been betting with them since 2019. What I realize betting on a regular sports game vs on an esports match is that at times it's evident who will win or lose, even after the start of a game. See, esports don't really have that much underdogs, and whenever there is it's not like they win among the giants. So basically it's easier to bet on esports for me personally, than in regular sports like football or soccer

When it comes to winning chances then I do partly agree into your comment about you do able to spot out somehow on whose gonna win but still it isn't sure in everything.

The only difference is that on what is your interest in, because even chances or odds of winning is harder than the other one then it wouldn't matter because

you would eventually enjoy on what you are watching. Therefore, this do matter with interest.

Im a real fan of e-sports betting with the games dota2 and csgo and of course its better if I know those teams first but according to the OPs statement I didn't bet on those teams because OG does not have too much good statistics on that time and its goods if you are avoiding those games which are you don't know all the things about them and also have a concrete data about them. If you are trying to look some of the data most of the time I tried to check their forum at the gosu and watch their games so see hows their game play.

There has been a massive focus on eSports betting for quite sometime now which is why this isn't anything new in my opinion. I didn't bet on the match which you mentioned related to CS:GO, but I did place several eSports related bets recently.
Yes, and these games became more famous last year when the lockdown was enforced and all the real sports were put on hold and people were left with a few options to bet. Either table tennis, UFC, some simulated sports which are a waste of time I would say, and otherwise Esports.

Esports is not a bad option to be fair because the games happen quickly and people like me who play some of these video games myself, feel refreshing to bet on the same games where professionals are playing. I just hope there are more games added like PubG and other video games to the crypto sportsbooks as I am sure a lot of tournaments must happen for these games too but I never saw any betting option for them. Rocket League is another cool game but betting options are limited.
LOL why would those real sports be a waste of time?  Huh You're wrong I think, betting on Esports is the real waste of time. Esports are famous to be highly corrupted, with lots of fixed matches and cheating, you should be very careful if you bet on this activity.
he didnt said all sports but he only mentioned some name and he mentioned simulated sports but i think theres something wrong with his post because he also said that esport is a waste of time , if i read it correctly . esports and betting in esports is not a waste of time because i never think of it as a corrupt but if that was your opinion ill respect that .

@Haunebu there is a mobile game in esports that lately became verry popular and its gameplay is simillar to the og's in moba

Esports betting was just an extra betting thing for me I just bet when the occasion occurs like my favorite gamer is playing and because I often bet on Sportsbetting with Bundesliga, UFC, and NBA.

Well, my suggestion will be this site the tried and tested one,

1) Sports Betting - I think this site is a thing and still a formidable legit site for crypto betting, there are Esports, Sportsbook, and other sports.

2) Nitrogen Sports - was a gambling site that has casino if there are no sportbooks or esports that you want to bet you can simply play with their casino games you can try and make your own account or as a guess account so you can go with betting fast.

3) Fortune Jack - I think this will be my last for now, It has casino as well you can play full sportsbooks and esports just try it and see for yourself that they are probably fair.

Ever since the boom on Esports popularity I started betting on League of Legends teams and Overwatch teams as these are the ones that I am most familiar with. I also tried Fantasy drafting but it didn't really tickle my fancy so I came back to regular esports betting. I can say it's much easier to bet on esports rather than regular games because you can really see the games even in the player's perspective, giving you confidence to either bet more or bet less.
All matters with preference because im both esports bettor(dota2, cs:go) and at the same time im also a sporst bettor too (NBA). It doesnt really give
you out  restriction or limitation as long you do have money to play and what do interest you in.I have placed lots of bets on esports bets since
im a gamer since from my highschool days then it would really be just entertaining to make out bets into those teams that you had idolized wayback
even up to now.Even we have hit by pandemic but esports industry havent been affected that much.

On the actual site or venue, you can bet with other fans that are into those games. I rarely see any of those games listed on a bookie, if there is, I think they're very few.
That would be too boring and taxing for you because you have to go to the venue yourself. The reason that it is rare is because most tournaments hosted are not that big and fighting games hasn't been a mainstream tournament game choice which is sad because it has a potential.
Yeah, the community for those games are not yet popular. But once they've become more popular, sportsbooks will have them enlist because there's a large community that supports them. I think that's about the consistency of such communities. Unlike the other popular games, they have it on their books because of their community and those games are very much popular. Maybe someday they'll have it on their list.

There are a lot of people who are betting in DOTA 2 and the prize pool is always high compared to other games. Maybe soon I'll try to bet in a FPS games like that, I'm updated in our local tournament but I just don't feel about betting in that game because it is really unpredictable on which team is the best.
No doubt it's unpredictable to bet on esports but if you know the teams you are betting on, their playstyle, their weakness and their strength then it can help you a lot. For example, if you are betting on DOTA2 and observe some teams closely like Nigma, you will notice that player Miracle plays a few heroes amazingly while others not so well. Some even say that Miracle's Medusa is impossible to beat and these things help you make bets because you can see if the players are picking heroes they are comfortable with, then they have better chances while odds aren't much impacted with how the draft phase goes.
Most sports and esports are unpredictable but being able to know the comfortable picks of each players will also helps a lot in factoring on which team will win. Yes, knowing their gamestyle and training of will be the best knowledge to have which mostly can be seen on their streams. But there are times where they play different heroes when they are on and off streams. There are a lot of instances that a hero was picked eventhough you haven't seen them played with it.

I've never tried to bet in a live FPS esports game even though I played a lot of games like Valorant, CS:GO and COD etc.
Playing a game doesn't mean you will be good at betting, that's true, I played a lot of soccer in my college time but that doesn't make me good at betting on soccer. But knowing the sport certainly helps as you at least know all the rules and possibilities of winning and losing.
Being knowledgeable to the game your betting can help you determine the winner of game. On FPS games there are certain strategies where pro players do that can analyze by watching their games. But yes, it'll only help you determine the chances of that'll win but it can't make a professional gambler.

Hey guys,

I am currently attending the ICE London event today and there is evidently a massive focus on esports this year. So I wanted to find out if anyone has recently bet on anything esports related?

There was a live esports game today (CS:GO) at ICE with GG.Bet covering the betting, with the match taking place between Mad lions and OG esports.

You can watch the video here: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=UnMYAd_O0xk

Let me know if anyone bet on this game!

I've never tried to bet in a live FPS esports game even though I played a lot of games like Valorant, CS:GO and COD etc.

But I tried to bet in games like DOTA 2 and LOL which is a Multiplayer Online Battle Arena, because of the hype of other gamers.

There are a lot of people who are betting in DOTA 2 and the prize pool is always high compared to other games. Maybe soon I'll try to bet in a FPS games like that, I'm updated in our local tournament but I just don't feel about betting in that game because it is really unpredictable on which team is the best.

You can find the List of TOP 10 Esports Betting Sites here: http://100bookies.com/esports-betting-sites-eng/
You post your links out of context and without reading what is being asked. The link you shared is showing the top fiat sites and not even a single site accepts cryptocurrencies from what I know, except loot.bet who I believe accepts Bitcoins.

I do bet a lot on e-sports and mainly on League of Legends and Dota2 apart from occasionally betting on CS:GO when top teams are playing because the lower-ranked teams are just too inconsistent to even bet on.

There is some league always going on whether it's for LOL or DOTA2 and one good thing to bet on these e-sports is that we get a chance to analyze the drafts from both teams and then make our bets. Damwon Kia will win worlds, I feel this year.

Lot of people do place esports bets. As far as I remember, there are sites that allows you to place bets with "skins" or "keys", and then valve started to take some actions against them. Valve started to restrict those bot trading accounts that accepts wager (skins and keys). Not sure what happened afterwards, but I do see people still betting on games like csgo.
I have also seen few casinos that are offering esports bets and accepts crypto currencies. You may want to try that.

I know several bitcoin users who are into esports. Esports is a slow burner, but like what some said on this thread, it has been relatively booming once the lockdown got started. I've bet on a few CSGO matches and casino games during the peak of the pandemic and I noticed CSGO is the most prominent scene in Esports so far. Matches are quick, and there a lot of tipping or betting sites out there to choose from.

I have made a few bets on esports as well, not much but as you said this increased during the last year in which we had such a shortage of sports due to the pandemic, however I really think esports and esports bets can become really popular during the next years and decades as in principle they are similar to sports betting, after all I practised some sports in my youth and I like to see what the very best can do in that sport, and the same is true with video games, I still play some video games from time to time and I like to see what the best can do with the very same tools.
