eSports bets are now growing very well.
It is not only on online gambling but also offline. Moreover, during the pandemic, eSports are growing very significantly. So far, we know also many more eSports games are coming around. And some reputable gambling platforms also provide this.
Well, this is interesting, moreover for young gamblers, may be very interested in esports betting.
Dota  maybe still my favorite

The trend of the explosive growth of esports appeared long before the pandemic, the budgets of competitions and teams are growing every year. Both the number of teams and the number of disciplines are growing - all this is based on the constant growth of the audience in this area. I think it is obvious that in a few years, individual esports disciplines will be as big as individual sports. Therefore, bettors should get used to betting on e-sports - the share of these competitions in betting will constantly grow.

E-sports betting is on trend these days especially that we're in the midst of a pandemic situation. Most young players prefer E-sports since we're in the modern technology era. Most of my friends are hooked to E-sports betting because it's too exciting and a skill-based game for online players. I'm sure that the E-sports community would continue to grow now that online sports are even growing.
It's not because it's the modern era only, it's just how they grew up playing so they prefer it much more, I mean that's how our parents have done too so it's not really that much different. I think it became a trend because not a lot of people believed that it's going to be somethign so big to the point that the biggest eSports tournament is going to have a prize pool of 8 figures.

I am thinking about starting to do this. Today I watched LOL 2021 World Championship and watched the odds live. First of all, I think the original quote of the bookmakers was wrongthe favorite was too overrated and this mistake was not corrected even when it became obvious that the EDG was just slightly inferior to the DG. Secondly, in the live mode, there were many opportunities to make guaranteed profitable bets, since the odds were very volatile.

Does anyone know how to access the zone at https://esporttalk.org/ ? About a year ago I was able to use it normally and got some pretty good e-sports picks. Now I can not log in and have no access. Do you need an invitation?

I have placed a couple of bets in some esports like fifa games but each time with no luck Sad
I think that like any other sport you need to study well the players, conditions, single matches. for sure "combine" are always possible since it's a sport like any others.
For sure after next Olympics games (that seems want launch the first esports competitions), we will see more and more of these esports becoming very popular in western countries...

To all you guys who responded here playing dota and all that. Don't you ever encounter games and matches where you just feel it's so rigged? Like the reason I'd never really play big on esports is I know a lot of the people who play it and they are all well... I would believe if I offered them enough money to throw games they would. And them doing so would be nearly impossible to detect. Doesn't this put you off?
That is always a possibly even in sports, but I get what you are saying, in traditional sport leagues this is way more difficult as many players are paid a fortune and it is easier to see if something is wrong, but at the end of the day unless you are right there watching their every action is going to be very difficult to detect this kind of fraud, but while that is the negative think about the positive, casinos have decades if not a hundred years of history to be able to calculate very accurate odds for traditional sports, something that is not true at all with esports and that gives you an advantage.

Very possible to any sports gambling as fixed match are really chronic.

Any sports event that being use for gambling are prone to this kind of manipulations, as there are people who have huge amount of
money to offer just to see the rigged happen. It's also been discuss inside the forum.

I am aware that this is very common especially when it comes to the lower levels of sport competition, for example before the pandemic I liked to watch boxing matches of relatively new boxers, while many of those fighters will not fight many times I like the idea of watching boxers before they turn pros, and even if I do not have evidence sometimes it is very clear there is something going on in the fight and that it is fixed in some way, but fixing anything higher than that requires a lot of money and very few people have that kind of power.

Last year there was a time when i was interested in placing esports bets because all other sports were not being held because of covid-19. Although i did enjoyed esports and placing bets on it but since the physical sports have resumed, i have stopped placing the bets on esports and focus on other sports.

Depends on the tournament, there's a possibility that some games can be rigged as i've seen teams getting private offers (here's a recent example)  but when you're only following bigger tournaments this becomes unlikely to happen when there's a big reward on the line compared to what those match fixers are offering. For me though as much as I want to make speculations I try to avoid those thoughts since it could put you off while betting so it's best to move on right away whenever you get a loss.

But back in 2019 I started betting again but in Mobile Legends I don't really do it online just with my friends or someone I know.

Hey guys,

I am currently attending the ICE London event today and there is evidently a massive focus on esports this year. So I wanted to find out if anyone has recently bet on anything esports related?

Of course, eSports is a new and interesting activity, on which one often also wants to place bets. For example, here you can find a wide selection of Bitcoin Bookmakers, many of which also accept eSports bets: http://goleador.com.ru/bitcoin-bookmakers/

Here's some valid discussions on Dota 2 TI3 issue where it was rigged. https://dev.dota2.com/forum/dota-2/community/104913-rigged-game
I do actually have the same impressions for that time where you can really feel out that there's something wrong specially if you do know
a certain teams performance and suddenly degraded where it turns out that it isn't the team that you known on.

Thinking that it's a fixed game something scripted really turns us off, but if we're a fan and we do know how the teams really wanted to win and their willing to give a good match it can still worth the risk si CE who knows we were able to bet in the game right game we're they are the assigned team to win. We will not be able to enjoy the bet and the game if we focus too much in thinking that they were planned, we just need to see by ourselves whether we bet in a right team or not.

I used to play some Dota and Counter Strike back in the day and a lot of Starcraft.. but those days are long gone now. I knew everything about the Top players and the rankings ...but back then not a lot of eSport betting was done.

Now I changed strategy and I bet on CS:GO with the knowledge that I get from the kids that are still playing it. I know the basics of the game and they will tell me what the pro's and cons are for the latest players.. so I formulate my bets based on that.  Wink

I have to say, some of these kids are fanatics and they know what they are talking about. (It shows in my win statistics)  Grin
You have a very significant advantage over other people, like always knowing the game in which you are betting is critical for your success, we know that games can change significantly after several updates have been made however the fact that you played those games and that you are still in contact with the community means that you know very well when the odds given by the casino are not right and you can take advantage of this and make bets that not only have a higher probability of winning but that have very high odds, if I was in your position I'll do everything to maximize my chances of becoming profitable on those games because that is not an opportunity that presents itself that often.

LOL why would those real sports be a waste of time?  Huh You're wrong I think, betting on Esports is the real waste of time. Esports are famous to be highly corrupted, with lots of fixed matches and cheating, you should be very careful if you bet on this activity.
he didnt said all sports but he only mentioned some name and he mentioned simulated sports but i think theres something wrong with his post because he also said that esport is a waste of time , if i read it correctly . esports and betting in esports is not a waste of time because i never think of it as a corrupt but if that was your opinion ill respect that .

@Haunebu there is a mobile game in esports that lately became verry popular and its gameplay is simillar to the og's in moba
As I understood his post he said table tennis and UFC are a waste of time according to him, so I was just wondering why he was thinking that and why he prefers betting on esports while they have a really bad reputation of rigged contests.
So many assumptions about what I said and maybe I should have phrased that better.

What I said was that during lockdown last year, we had limited options "Either table tennis, UFC, some simulated sports which are a waste of time I would say, and otherwise Esports."

So I meant that simulated sports are a waste of time and I said that because there is no stream or anything and all we can do is trust the data and results provided by them. I have seen some strange things and results happening in simulated sports which made me feel like its a waste of time.

UFC is a good option and I myself make bets on weekends so I would never call it as a waste of time. Table tennis is not bad but ain't great either of matches are unpredictable and underdog wins more than favorites from what I have seen, so there is no consistency in TT.

I hope I cleared any and all doubts about my comment. Smiley
Oh I'm really sorry justdimin I didn't get what you mean, I was thinking you were just some kind of geek despising "physical" sports and only caring about electronic ones.
Besides that, I wasn't aware of what you're saying about table tennis, if bookmakers odds are wrong it could be interesting,I've heard several  professional punters saying it's harder to find value bets in the biggest sports like soccer for example because bookmakers are better to evaluate odds/implied probabilities.

Actually I am betting in E-sports for almost 7 years and that is because I am also a gamer and a gambler as well. I've seen this ggbet a good betting website in which it covers so much fight just like DotA 2, StarCraft, CS-GO, overwatch and also they have sports like basketball, football and etc. I've like to bet here in ggbet because sometimes the odds here was really good so right now I am sticking here whenever I am betting in e-sports.
