Bitcoin has accomplished a lot over the last few years and deserves a lot of credit for it but has not achieved its goal yet.  Bitcoin is set to achieve global protection whereby everyone will accept its use in terms of payment methods and apply it to their business and transactions.
Bitcoin was created to solve some problems connected with the fact that governments have a complete control over finances and can release as much money as they want disregarding inflation. Also Bitcoin was made to exclude an intermediary between the one who pays and the one who receives the payment. These two functions, Bitcoin is capable of performing, but it is still not so widely used.

every people have different opinion about bitcoin goal. they will say to be a great investment, or payment method, or the other extreme thing. we judge by habit, by what we do to bitcoin until now.
big adoption is main decision for me, to spread what the basic want, and people clear and use crypto for daily life. but, hard to tell to everyone, my experience just tell this to close or family.
From your sincerity, bitcoin seems to have accomplished its main goals, from payment to popularity as well as investment, a diverse and recognized talent, maybe even as many members have said, its original goals were fulfilled much earlier than scheduled, now its service is only to increase variety and spaciousness. Besides that, Bitcoin is no longer living for itself, it is living under our hope, we are the ones who are writing more goals for it and asking for it to be achieved, instead of asking such easy question, we should ask whether we have achieved our goals or not.

I got your opinion but this is not just what we ended up telling our family and friends, global adoption is what we aim for. I do believe this comes in the future, adoption is seemingly growing strong, a lot of countries are into it already and they are now widely using Bitcoin in their place.
However, their numbers aren't big enough to make things changes, but despite this situation, we can still be hopeful that someday it can be fully realized and achieve the main goal to become a currency.

Adoption is something that dont have that specific timeframe or exact moment on where we do consider that it is already on its full extent and dont anticipate that we would
really be going into that point on which we do see that Bitcoin would become main payment method and every merchants and businesses would apply on this one.
Knowing that it would really be in personal choice
I think bitcoin should achieve its goal by finishing to mine all of the remaining bitcoin but no matter what we do it would entirely be done after almost a century before we could officially call it that it has succeeded its goal. The rest of what you guys been talking might be on the developers side or to the community side which will make the value to move.

Does bitcoin adoption really matters or the investment of the investors does?

In my opinion, the only and primary goal of Bitcoin is to be a means of payment and facilitate people's money transfers in a decentralized system, and we can think that it succeeded. Right now, apll it takes is for people to fully understand Bitcoin and the Blockchain system behind it.

If there will be a free education for all about bitcoin and crypto, i think people will gain more knowledge about its positive effects on us and how it will be properly utilize which put us in the end as the great beneficiaries. In this way, people wilel change their mindset on bitcoin and will create initiatives on how to spread its usefulness so it can gain massive adoption in the future. And once majority of the people are already inclined to it, then using it as a currency exactly like fiat will be more possible to happen.

Bitcoin has achieved its goal a long time ago when it went from $1 to $100.
Do you think the goal of Bitcoin about the price? I don't think it is the goal of Bitcoin created by Satoshi. Satoshi created Bitcoin for an alternative of payment purpose that never uses the third parties. So, we can transfer it any time and with low fees. This is the real goal of Bitcoin written in the whitepaper of Bitcoin.

Satoshi aimed bitcoin to become a means of payment like fiat. But i know its not created to replace fiat, but rather to serve as an alternative to fiat because fiat alone is irreplaceable knowing its fully centralized.

However, if we can make bitcoin as a global currency in the future, that will be a  greater achievement in guess in the future, but it will be a long waiting game when will it happen definitely.

The main goal is that to use as a payment method and also a transaction as you mentioned that it has been written on whitepaper .Though it was the reason to bring it but it has opened the world to make a easy transaction system and the technology is the is the great innovation itself .We have gotten a huge platform and we all know that what is bitcoin and crypto for us .Not only a transaction system it has opened the idea of different earning way .It shows how smart the blockchain technology is .The crypto market is growing more faster and the using of the bitcoin are increasing daily .The price are just following it and the value is increasing .I think the idea has been successful and has archived the goal and also many more will come through it for sure .

Yes. I also believe that the ultimate goal of bitcoin is to become a legal currency and will serve as a payment method in all types of purchase. And with big institutions that are now accepting bitcoin as a means of payment, i think this goal is now starting to be realized. And with massive education hopefully, i know it will be a great help to boost the usage of bitcoin since people are now starting to be aware on bitcoin.

I assume the same about the purpose of bitcoin. bitcoin will be a legal medium of exchange between countries without being limited by country system restrictions in transactions. so companies can easily use bitcoin without having to exchange fiat money from one country to another because in this case they use the same coin in transactions.

I think Bitcoin does have some specific goals. And its inventor(Satoshi Nakamoto) did not explain anything about its limits or goal. But This is the perfection of his invention that Bitcoin is going to rule all over the world. It denies accepting some border limits. Its network is spreading very fastly. This business has a unique interset & psychology that it is popular among all classes of life.No one can explain about its goals but future will decide about it.
Doubted that it is going to rule over the world as it was not intended to be like that. The reason for its creation is to give an alternative out from fiat to digital currency and it looks like we are going to that way, not just too fast to its way. Being one of the major currencies that we're able to use someday is a big achievement and able to fulfill the dreams of the creator.

However, if we are going to assess the current situation like it was said we are yet rolling to make it possible. Not to replace fiat (as people think), no, it was just a currency.

So where is it written that the ultimate goal of bitcoin is to achieve global protection? And protection from what? I haven't seen anywhere that bitcoin must be used as the payment method and has to be applied to business transactions. Yeah, it was created to make a trustless payment system without involving third parties.
Unfortunately, at the current state it is almost impossible since there are many problems that needs to be addressed first. Fortunately, various solutions are being forwarded to solve the problems.

The price itself is irrelevant, but the volatility and long term stability of the price is important if Bitcoin aims to be used widely for payment purposes. If it provides low fees is very debatable, it is only suited to move large amounts of money as if people would start to buy bread with it, transaction fee would be way too high.
Current state of Bitcoin is desperate, it is used for high risk speculation mostly. Merchants accept Bitcoin more and more as it becomes cheaper to achieve this as payment providers include it but without price stability almost nobody will use Bitcoin itself for daily payments in the future.
However, as most people are committed to get wealthy by investing in Bitcoin, the incentive for price stability is very low, therefore price will continue to be volatile making Bitcoin a Ponzi-Scheme for the most part.

When BTC price has stabilized for like 5 years, maybe it can then be used as store of value or as currency. Before that it will mainly be used as cash cow and high risk investment.

For usage as store of value, it is not necessary that the prices should remain stable. On the other hand, an asset which can be used as a store of value should have a constant, or increasing purchasing power. A perfect example is that of gold. It's price has increased by almost 100 times during the last one hundred years. But it's purchasing power has remained more or less constant.
If an asset is known to be highly volatile you do not invest into it to store your value, people do not buy 1 BTC today and hope to receive the same purchasing power in 20 years, they buy 1 BTC because they believe the purchasing power of it will go 'to the moon' within the next 20 years.
