IMO, the very end (and ideal) goal of Bitcoin is for it to achieve widespread adoption. Until we are ready to ditch fiat and go for Bitcoin, that won't happen any time soon.
We still need a very long time to switch to payment methods using bitcoin. As long as speculators continue to profit from bitcoin's value to get a lot of fiats, then bitcoin will not be able to replace fiat money.
Not only that, to replace fiat money will definitely be very difficult for Bitcoin, because most fiat money is still a legal currency and is still regulated by the government in a country, so things like this are not easy to really happen later. but Bitcoin can be used only for transactions only not to replace fiat.

I don't think so that bitcoin is achieve it goals because they have many purposes why it here to the online world to help different people who wants to earn more money.

If we are talking about the price is not already achieve because for sure it will up more the value than we are expected.

They achieved their other goal but they have a lot of needs to help here in the cryptocurrency.

To be short, I don't think bitcoin didn't achieve this goal yet. because for many marketplaces bitcoin is still impossible to use because bitcoin as never made to become a payment method. Bitcoin is not like the useless fiat money you use to buy stuff with it from the marketplace because for little transaction such as 3usd for less you will need to pay a half of dollar and wait a few minutes. This can't be right. There is not such goal or other any predicted goal for bitcoin. Bitcoin is an asset not payment method.

Bitcoin has accomplished a lot over the last few years and deserves a lot of credit for it but has not achieved its goal yet.  Bitcoin is set to achieve global protection whereby everyone will accept its use in terms of payment methods and apply it to their business and transactions.
never heard that if bitcoin has a goal to be adopted by all of the parties. As far as i know, if bitcoin being created to be a p2p cash electronic system and this is based on the Bitcoin whitepaper created by satoshi.
It's about a solution to the centralized system that can't be trusted. The goal of bitcoin can't be determined yet, satoshi was giving bitcoin as a solution to fight the centralized payment system that can't be fully trusted.

Its goal to achieve the mainstream popularity is not that easy as long as there are still scams that are being reported in the social media.

That's the main problem in cryptocurrency world, criminals are unpredictable but avoidable. Bitcoin's goal to become used in many transactions and as the best asset will surely happen in the near future. It has a lot of things to prove, maybe sooner or later, we just need to wait and help it to become better as we support its existence and prevalence in the market.

What goal?
Satoshi creates Bitcoin to become an alternative mode of payment. This is not the goal, Bitcoin nothing to make it reach but only the people who trusting and accumulating Bitcoin. If their purpose is to make use of Bitcoin as a currency, then that they are already reaching.

I don't matter if that is a goal or not, we can still maximize the use of Bitcoin in the long-run. In fact, this is not only used for currency but had also been used for investment.

For me, I think the main goal of Satoshi and the reason why he created bitcoin is to make something where people invest and secure their future with it.

He didn't clearly tell us his motive why he created a cryptocurrency that is so volatile and yet have a high price in the market compared to other assets.

But I think that the thing that should matter right now is its popularity and price in the market. Bitcoin adoption is the thing that the community wants so that global adoption will make its price to go high and increase its reputation in the eyes of the governments who are against it.

Bitcoin is more like store of value, it has some disadvantages that will not allow him to become global accepted currencies (tps mainly)

Unlike shitcoin projects, Bitcoin developers don't make any promises about Bitcoin's adoption and usability. It's not a problem if Bitcoin won't achieve mass adoption, or if it will happen after decades - both Bitcoin's network and Bitcoin development are decentralized, so there's no strict timeframes for any goals.

Satoshi was quite optimistic that Bitcoin can be mass adopted, but still he never said for sure that it's going to happen, or that it must happen for Bitcoin to be counted as success.

In my book, Bitcoin is doing good as long as at least some people use it.

The initial goal is to become a payment method, so I guess there are people here who have used bitcoin in their lifetime to pay or purchase something. However, it has evolved since its inception, becoming a investment instrument, store of value, hedge against financial crisis. So I would say that we've made a lot of progress in the last 10 years already.

I don't think that was the initial principle of bitcoin, because the principle itself is an alternative payment transaction besides using conventional payment transaction methods that we have been running so far.

As long as this is still not fulfilled in every country, bitcoin will automatically develop until it can be recognized and used in every transaction that is carried out around the world.

Side utility so, we can assume yes. if you said only payment method, they already happen once Satoshi here.

But Satoshi has plan more that it, so the payment method just pieces things. More than payment, we need to change big system, so it's not the goal.

Satoshi's vision was to avoid third party involvement when it comes to payment transaction, the goal was to give people control over their finances but there are several things which is affecting to proceed further like trust matters and government of every country should motivate Crypto currency to their public if this happens public will definitely start transaction as trust automatically builds, Also knowledge about BTC is most important still the majority of the people do know what bitcoin is and how it works. So I think if the government officials show green signal to this technology it will surely achieve its goal.

I think the initial goal of bitcoin as a recipient and sender of transactions has been achieved. But keep in mind there are still many mysteries that we can solve from bitcoin and I think bitcoin will continue to be developed in the next few years. Moreover, what bitcoin has achieved so far, it is only a small part of which is actually still many benefits of bitcoin itself.

As has already been said, there is no specific goal or taget for bitcoin. It's decentralized and the community is free to use it whichever way they want. However if we are to go by Satoshi's vision of creating a peer to peer payment network which doesn't need one to trust a third party, I would say, Yes. For every individual who switched to Bitcoin to escape the centralized system or anyone who takes advantage of its pseudo autonomy, that is the fulfilment of the vision.

Some would say global.adoption is the goal of bitcoin, some others may set a fiat value target as the goal, all these are reflections of what they expect from the market and of itself is a fulfilment of the goal of bitcoin; it is different things to different people and anyone can use it the way they wish.

I don't think there is any pre-defined goal for Bitcoin,

Exactly. Because who's going to decide on what the definite goal is? Remember those altcoin projects that has pre-defined goals and specific roadmaps? There's a reason why Bitcoin doesn't have one— because Bitcoin doesn't have a centralized team that's making decisions for the project.

Bitcoin accomplished something very important and although these is not the objective based on its whitepaper - it still managed to make. And that is, despite being in trade war, slow economic activities, inevitable recession and financial crisis - it shows that bitcoin can become the best store of value and in fact could become in the future. If this is what bitcoin founder envisioned before perhaps this is what he meant by creating one.

The opinion that bitcoin future will be decided by its adoption as a payment method is wrong. Bitcoin has its main usecase as a storage asset like physical gold. Fortunately, the value of bitcoin is better than gold, and its usecase is greater than gold.

Bitcoin can be used to move funds, do make transactions but to make it as a payment method, it is not a main purpose and is unrealistic at least now. Lightning network can solve it but it is for future development of bitcoin and Lightning network and lightning network adoption.

Bitcoin has a sky to fly and reach to. It has not yet achieved its ultimate goals.

I don’t think bitcoin has achieved its goal yet fiat currency is more widely used for business and transactions the whole world supports it and the transaction system is much easier bitcoin usually rises a lot based on its demand depends on the market and how you do it despite the ban on virtual currency transactions in other countries the government is interested in blockchain technology. The government has also allocated in this sector in the proposed budget to take the digital country forward.
