I'm not referring to the price of Bitcoin (we all know it's going to be $250,000/coin by 2022), but the goal that it would be a legitimate alternative to inflationary government fiat currencies.  When the altcoin market is examined, it is inextricably linked to the price of Bitcoin.  Where Bitcoin goes, so does the rest of the cryptocurrencies.  There's even somewhat of a dismissive attitude toward other crytpos in some investment circles; strangely this was a similar sentiment held by those "respectable" investors when Bitcoin was in its infancy.

What do you think?  I'd love to hear from some crytpo veterans.

I can say no one can predict how much would be the value of bitcoin in 2022. Crypto Market is very volatile and anything can happen that prediction could possibly happen or it would be higher or even lower. The more investors invest and believe in bitcoin the price could possibly go up. And i believe that bitcoin would have a much higher value thats why i keep on holding on my investments.

I really think that Satoshis vision for Bitcoin was not as big as Bitcoin is now. He could not have known what a success his creation would be. Sure, in the back of his mind he probably thought that his project has the capacity to overthrow fiat currency once and for all, but I doubt he actually believed it would happen as it is happening now.

Everybody has ideas that they truly believe could revolutionize the world, but few people actually believe that this idea will be fully realized, especially in the way that Satoshi's was. That being said, I don't think it has come anywhere close to realizing its maximum potential.

i don't think so.still lot of things to be adjusted in several sides.as a example there must be a one proper regulation for the bitcoin.in fact every country must follow same policy about the bitcoin.and also the technical side must need to be adjusted. transaction speed is very low in bitcoin.if bitcoin adjusted these things value of the bitcoin go more up.that is the goal of bitcoin.not settle in one price range.going up everyday is the goal.

I think the main purpose of bitcoin production is not to achieve high prices or to be recognized by governments or agencies, Satosi just wants bitcoin to be used as a means of payment for everyone and all groups.
If the value of $ 250,000 per bitcoin or government recognition of bitcoin as a means of payment within an institution, you use as a benchmark of bitcoin success, you are wrong.
The success of bitcoin is when bitcoin is able to dominate the world and not the world that controls bitcoin.
You also say that bitcoin belittles altcoin, in fact this is the truth. When the bitcoin price soars, altcoin will also jump and when the bitcoin value falls, altcoin will also lower the price. But if altcoin prices go down, bitcoin will be fine because bitcoin is the center.

I think bitcoin has reached its goal. All people know about bitcoin, bitcoin is used by more number of people, More countries have accepted bitcoin. Some countries have been processing to accept bitcoin. All people know the merits and demerits of bitcoin. If the value of bitcoin reached a high value and accepted by all countries then only it will fully reach the goal.

I don't think bitcoin has reached it goal and to me this is just the beginning and we need to really promote it to as many as we know for public adoptions. 80% of the world populace did not know about bitcoin and cryptocurrencies in particular and at this I think the future hold mush than we think.

I think it is possible to happen because I know that in this world nothing is impossible but I believe that it is depends on us as a people that has a mind and has a right to make decisions. In many years of bitcoin existing in this world it is actually be much strong and productive in the market and as on our present day and time it is still the leading cypto currency in the market. There are a possible chance to be the alternative currency to fiat money as long as it will meet its massive adaptation and legalizations in all countries all over the world and I think it will be possible if bitcoin system are continuously doing a better performance and movements to the market.

I think that yet, Bitcoin has become popular, many use it for different purposes, but we still see some shortcomings: hacking, banned by some country. Bitcoin is only about 10 years old, and I do not think this is enough to achieve the goal.

I guess bitcoin had not reach its ultimate goal. Yes indeed bitcoin did not reach it because we should admit that there are still or there are a lot of things that bitcoin should improve with. Yes bitcoin is the number one crypto currencies in this day, but surely if bitcoin will stop in developing because they think they already reach the goal, surely in just short time period bitcoin will be outdated. The fight in being the best crypto currency is very tight that you must set a goal which we can say is unreachable or unviable so we can think behind everything.

BTC will be difficult to achieve my goal, I think so, because it was blocked at the 22k mark so the milestone is difficult to pass.

Sorry to say but honestly I don't know this price prediction of bitcoin at 2022 to become 250,000$. I know that there are possibilities but for that price I think it is not going to reach that kind of price because it is too expensive tat seems super greedy price in just a couple of years.

which obviously no one can know their future all can only predict, let alone price issues, many factors that can make all possibilities happen, but whatever it is, I hope crypto will last for a long time

No, I think that bitcoin hasn't reached its goal yet. It supposed to be the world currency where everyone in the world can used it to buy anything that they need and wanted. As of now, adoption rate is still low. Hence, the government keeps on blocking the adoption. Bitcoin feature itself is still not yet ready and the speed and the fee still causes troublesome, so I think it still needs more time to develop.
