But if he buys some shiba it's not a bad idea investing in meme is very risky but with shiba or doge I think it's worth a try because of what it proved to us. Both meme coins are in the top 20 on CMC, showing that it is still safer to invest in them than some of the other altcoins below them.

I think it's a stupid decision to sell Ethereum to be able to buy Shiba Inu, because after all Ethereum is the best altcoin until now.
So if we have Ethereum, it's better if we just hold it until the bull market comes, rather than selling the Ethereum we have to buy
the Shiba Inu. Although Shiba Inu is a popular coin in the top 20, but the risk is very high investing in Shiba Inu. Because meme coins
like Shiba Inu have no clear function, so to expect the price to go up, we have to rely on the whales that manipulate the price.
Without the manipulation of whales it's hard to expect Shiba it's hype again, that's why Shiba Inu is better used for short term investments.
Due to long term investment in Shiba Inu we risk losing money, because there is no guarantee when the bull market comes Shiba Inu
will return to hype.

With Shiba you won't experience big loss as per the current situation. In the beginning it was the young market and got hype by the Influencers. This resulted with a massive growth and continued listing on different exchanges. The same isn't the reality anymore, there is continued development and progress. For this reason it is a good choice to invest among the list of memecoins. As said a small quantity is a good choice, beyond that is is upto the user to take the risk.

When you are indeed having some considerations on having some investment into coins which arent that established or not yet popular then the certain risk involved is high compared into those coins which

do able to make out some exposure and attention into the community or masses even though its actual utility isnt really that comparable into those top ranking established coins but since its been hyped

and its been pushed through with high interest then it could really still make out some significant consideration on overall market.I didnt expect that much that it will really be reaching out
state since its a meme coin or next to Doge but it do still able to get that attention for a project something like this.

Shiba does still have hope to fly if the bullrun returns, but we also have to know that Shiba has gone up to 1000x from its bottom price,

If you buy a Shiba Inu, it is your decision in terms of crypto investing and how you manage your finances. Shiba Inu isn't that bad of an investment even though it's a token meme.
Regarding Shibarium, it probably has nothing to do with the Shiba Inu toke, it's just someone's thrill of developing a new meme token.
If you convert Shiba Inu to Ethereum it is the right step, but the profit depends on when you bought Shiba tokens beforehand.

If OP buys shiba, I have no idea as long as he buys with money he can lose, but as he said he's switching from ethereum to shiba, I think it's totally not advisable. We can change from shitcoins to topcoin, absolutely don't be foolish to switch from topcoins to shitcoin. It was a completely wrong decision, don't see hype around shiba without curbing his greed but trading his wealth for risk.

Shiba has surpassed many other promising coins to rank 12th on CMC, but there is no guarantee that it will not die or disappear, take a look at Luna and we can see that anything is possible in crypto.
