So now Hashfast is selling Batch 4. The balls on this company to sell 4 batches in without delivering one.

"Orders placed today are guaranteed to ship by March 31, 2014."

I'm hoping they delay past the December 31st refund date. At this point I just want out.

Wow.. shit load to read Sad

Straight question please.. Has HashFast delivered to anyone?  If so, does it work and the quality?  Or is it a billy bullshit company?

Ta

No, but the latest delivery date (when they were still communication) was mid of December for Batch 1. So hard to say at this point whether they're just quite, or whether they've absconded with the money & chips.

"Even so, the latest delivery estimates for the modified, improved substrate design are three weeks from today. This means that we would be shipping our first rigs mid-December. "

The chips from mining with 500 BabyJets at this point would be worth ~$800k per day for them, where the revenue by selling them initially was only $2.7m total.

So it would be hard to imagine that they would actually disappear completely rather than just mine with the hardware for 2 months (can probably get between $10m and $15m) while citing various excuses and then ship it. They obviously haven't done this though - we would have seen a much bigger hashrate increase.

So the only reason for them to disappear completely is if they realized there was a fundamental design flaw and the chips don't work at all.

The realist
So far all we have is a picture of a guy holding a box.

And a render of the PCB / photos of a prototype case.

And the thing is, they promised pics of the real PCB months ago and still haven't delivered that.

God knows if they actually have the PCB all sorted out or not.

The silence from them is deafening.

Mmm about another 3 weeks to go to the promised shipping date.

Thanks for not quoting him, most of the forum has that guy on ignore anyway. Kouye, you are toeing the line with your comments.

Hashfast another day goes by, another lost opportunity to save face in the community. You have time to set up a new wholesale program, but not time to give a one or two sentence update to your customers that trusted you.
Pretty much this.

1a) Ignore icebreaker and try to come up with a decent discussion that does not involve my mum. (that's some pathetic trolling, anyway. HF should lower you hourly payrate); (i wanted to keep fighting the troll, but didn't want to annoy other readers, so i stopped).

From what i see, they are simply trying to do their best to stole the biggest amount; they know that their time is running low and the future is really uncertain. What other reasons would justify their behaviour? BFL was really even better at communicating.

Crypto is the separation of Power and State.
It's easy.

1.  Wait until the Guaranteed Delivery Date (12/31 for Batch 1).

2.  Ask for a refund.

3.  If you don't get a refund, start the arbitration process.

4.  Enjoy the arbitration process for 10 more years. (if you enjoy this kind of stuff, at least)

5.  Ignore the endless negativity of the witless whiners who mope about being forlorn, obsessed with ASIC vendors, and incapable of completing Step 1 (wait until 12/31).

Just kidding!  In a clear-cut case of non-delivery any arbitrator will quickly make the easy (and legally enforceable) decision to enact the refund provision, possibly with damages.

I don't like this either, but since HF is not delivering on its promises and products so far, it our duty as customers to push for transparency and hold HF accountable for its (in)actions.

Maybe you should whine at the post office.
As they had 507 in stock when you ordered, a few months ago, you should have been delivered now, if the postman was a bit more diligent. I suppose.

It's incredible that even bfl had more info to share at this point. (as you suggest, about the chip testing).
Wait, they even had PCBs ready 6 months before shipping.

David is still here whining?

His ability to whine nonstop for weeks at a time is impressive!

When other (normal) children would do homework or play after school, David's mom made him do whining exercises for hours at a time.

David's mom wanted to make sure her little baby could whine longer and more plaintively than any other brat on the planet.

She did a great job raising David to be the best at whining, as we call all see.

Even back in Noobie Jail, David had to start a thread to whine about being in Noobie Jail (because he's extra-special, dontchya know).   Cheesy

So, while we're waiting on substrates, how is the testing of the wafer going?
I'm sure now that they're in hand you're well into the bumping and dicing process, and are starting to get some really good test data.
Anything to share, HashFast_CL?

They can't share because it's under NDA! BFL-2 weeks; HF-NDA!
