Hashnest already took out the S5 miners but I guess that at this point they are profitable once again (until the halving with the current price) they've only left the S7 working. When will they release new hardware for cloud mining?
Hmm, this is interesting. There were *a lot* of S5 hashes, and very very likely not all S5 machines were redeemed for. From a commercial point of view, one might expect to have those S5 being switched on again (or perhaps even never switched off). So Hashnest could well be, making themselves an additional 'silent' profit.

I doubt it, Bitmain probably stands to make much more by selling them pre halving.

Base on current price of S9, the prices for S9 hashes should be 0.000225 BTC per GH/S when it first appear on market.
That is only dependable, at which price the first batch owners would be selling their S9 hashes. If I remember correctly on the first S7's hashes hitting the market, sellers were selling them around 10% above it's actual value.
It really depends on the price of hash AND the price of your power costs. In that regard, Bitmain wins against most home miners.

Sha256 hashing power is getting cheaper by the day. Reputable cloud mining services have reduced the prices to new lows. Are sha miners still worth getting? It could be outdated after a few months.
