So what's the general consensus on S7?
Expensive but long term gain worth it?

Or but cheap S5 at like 0.9/0.8btc per miner?

Perhaps I misunderstanding what you mean by "cheap".

Today they have 843 items of S7 in stock for 1923.0 USD(8.25672356฿), which will give you 4,860 GHS.

As a comparison, they have 616 in stock of the old S5s for 367.0 USD(1.57547107฿), giving you 1,155 GHS.

Of course the maintenance and power fees differ between the machines.

Maybe this person was referring to the market price of the antminer s5! I teems to be around 0.9 btc

That makes sense, can't understand why I did not read it that way, thanks.

Does anyone remember when they opened up the market for S5 after the initial sale of whole mashines?

I cannot find one main and vital piece of information anywhere. CAn the main hashnest user help me. I need to know the  ROI of the antminer s7 to know when users can start earning money (when their initial investment has been paid off!)

Congrats to nice sales, however could you elaborate which asics are used for additional offer? It's hard to believe you had so many spare old S2 antminers.

It would be nice to adjust maintenance fees for umisoo in case you added newer machines (S3, S4) to the the farm.

The s7 seems a better option as the mining reward is halving next june. IF the roi is before then, then you are fine but at that time the mainteance will be greater than the rewards that you get. Unless you want the miner to be delivered to you next year of course. If so then set up another account with the S5 so you don't lose any of your bitcoins!

Can someone explain me.. i have 1040Ghash S4    in 3 days i have  -0.002 on my account Huh
how can be minus Huh?
 Huh

That seems quite odd and I would seriously suggest that you don't deposit any money into that account! That suggests that the transaction fee was greater than the amount won by the antminer s4 from antpool. Antpool shouldn't create debt with people though!

Please read the contract, you can most certainly lost money on these investments.  Every second you hold a contract, you are accruing maintenance fees, then it is trued up when a block is found.  If you have more accrued than you receive from the block, you will lose money on that block.  Longer blocks will create lower profits for the owner of the GH/s, and could eventually cause a loss if the block takes long enough to find.

Some of the worries are stopped when using antpool as the profit is split proportionally between all of the users.

I don't know what that means, all pools split rewards proportionately unless it is a solo pool.

I meant that antpool have three stratum serversso the profit from all three are split between the users meaning that if one of the servers is having a spot of "bad luck" then the other servers will still be producing similar results!

Wow, 34 blocks today and still 20min to go. Antpool has not seen such a good day in a while. Last was like 31 blocks last week.

and now will be panic buy Smiley ehhh..

I hold a 1 Gh/s antminer s5 with them and in the first 6 hours of yesterdeay it had paid me 0.00000400 btc! that's quite good for six hours on antpool. However, antpool don't take the 1% payment that most other bitcoin pools do!

Where is all the people saying that Antpool is broken because it found too many blocks today?  So easy to jump on them when they have a bad day

Yea, agree. This AM I got a bunch of s5 hash for .00075, climing all day. Don't really trade much but my v3 PACs are paying principal back so wallet keeps growing and want to invest it somewhere.

I found a page on hashnest, cannot remember the url, but it suggests alternative investment options to their site. On of which is Mining Sweden where you can get 200Gh/s and a 25/1000% for ~$3000

Frankly, I think they're hiding something from us!  Why won't they communicate why everything is working so well?!?

Oh right, it's averages doing what they do....
