https://bit.ly/387FXHi lightning theory
itsnasir. Lol you're describing every market. Most noobs, like yourself, sell for the lowest price they can get at the time (OK maybe not the bid price but the lowest ask price) and then question why other people do the same thing 😂.

I don't think it's unlikely hashnest are selling their own ths but if they are you can keep pushing their prices down...

I'm not convinced Hashnest is manipulating the market by selling their own hashes on it. However, I think it's possible. The good flip side of if they are selling their own hashes, is that buyers can get some hash for cheaper. BTW if you had old S9 hashrate, check for your coupons Wink

I cant access hashnest as I can't log in (due to broken 2fa on their side).

But when I was there there were a few things to consider.

The price changes througout the day, at 09:00 utc there would be a lot of volume and such a lower price would be observed, later on there would be less volume and less competition so the price would go up higher at about 21:00 utc it used to be a pain and a good thing. One was that it alsmost always happened so you could profit off the market a bit. Another was, if you wanted to pull out large amounts then you'd do it in the morning (as apposed to me who kept doing it in the evening and dropping the market prices quite substantially accidentally)...

It is possible they might be selling hashpower over the market though. What's the price per ghs or ths there?

Well thats the problem with hashnest, Apart from the original buyer/sellers! Hahsnest is manipulative in price, 1TH right now 0.00907000! Their are TOO MANY 1TH's being sold on hashnest which are CLEARLY being sold by hashnest administration and not from original sellers, Their are VERY FEW which are being sold by original sellers. If hashnest is not manipulative on the prices of THs, Lots of people can make money by trading THs only!

P.S : I will see at 21:00 UTC and see if any prices would go up at that time! But to me, Whenever I try to sell my hashes, Someone else immediately is selling 1TH at lower price above me then in few minutes more 1TH lower prices, Its as if hashnest is deliberately putting all prices down so people should panic and sell at cheaper prices and they buy all the hashes themselves at cheaper prices and then sell back at higher prices etc!

The market which is running on hashnest to sell THs, It looks manually controlled, Whenever hashnest wants to up the price, They up the price, Whenever they want it down, They down the price! If market price is not manipulative, There will be good cloud mining business for hashnest as well as for people, If their is no influence of hashnest on the market price of THs, It would be much better. Just a suggestion!

Don't want to turn this into some sort of trading thread, but I too don't see LTC going too far above $100 unless BTC's also dragged upwards and other cryptos as well. BTC's been lagging behind alts like ETH and LTC big time recently, though I expect LTC continuing its run upwards from the mid-$50s will likely have BTC going up to some degree too.

LTC could still go much higher than where it's at right now and the L3+s could drop below the 80s for maintenance again, but difficulty will catch up again and those things'll once again be unprofitable.

L3+? I see L5 is available on bitdeer.com. Maybe difficult to be profitable from L3+?

If it goes below 60% then fine add it. I think the market is just too volatile atm.

Maintenance will always catch up to all hardware eventually. Anything above 70 normally indicates the end (other than the s7 rare moment a year ago).

if bit goes up they can, ltc now is profitable its below 90s

But that's just unreasonable.

They'll put up stuff that have a fee below 50 or 60 otherwise it's just too much work for them when redemption come in and if there's new stuff why not use that? They'll also appear to be scamming if they use the old stuff (scamming from those with just 1 or 2 mhash).
i dont see why the L3 would need redemption for 1-2 year from now, just bcs of a dip for 2 or 3 month its disabled,...nonsense...look LTC, it defiantly wants to revisit 200 buks

It's not going that high yet though. And how long is it going to stay high. $100 sure it might get up there but $200 is rediculous without the support of the bitcoin price imo.

Can you use tor or a vpn to get around this? It's the whole of the US afaik.

I think it is just limited to the US though and I can access it normally.
It is likely the entire United States indeed. I get the same trying from the state of Pennsylvania and Ohio, though I don’t think Hashnest will disallow deposits from other IP locations through a VPN like other services; don't think they'll do something like Bitmex where they force withdraw on an IP located in the US though.

Yes, that error message is only a reminder, you can still top up to Hashnest wallet, please try.
