Only the lucky hash looks to have a fixed cost of 2.2btc for a s9, i had joined recently and i were going to purchase s7 hash as i saw it 1/3 the s9 valu, i made a small test with 100ghs and i got profit of 30 satoshis, while s9 had made me a good return, soo my question is do you still believing s7 hash is profitable?

if you invest 1 btc to s9 and 1btc to s7 both.

at the end of the day you will see that, s7 gives 2 times more btc than s9.

this is confirmed both practically and theoretically a couple of times by me..

so i convert all my s9 ghs to s7.

1.     The price of miner sales is fixed at US Dollar. The CoinDesk BPI price is used to determine a real-time bitcoin price.

It seems the difficulty will rise 3% or more every 14 days.

Up to now - yes

But BTC on rally - so it can be disbalance of buy/sell.

Only bad thing that could happen is if someone deploys a few PH/S and difficulty rises out of control. It's not likely, but more people looking at btc =/= more people mining.

That what we probably will experience soon - after HashNest put on the market S9.

More than 1000 unit are already sold.

Before HN controlled difficulty buy mining in full capacity first 9 days after diff change, and slowing down last 5 days. We had moderate ~3% increase.

Now having on miners hands tens of PHs the control is little bit more tricky.

But the difficulty is rising too fast. It might not be profitable soon.

Bulshit

If the difficulty rises 6% or more each period, it will not be profitable.

it will be not IF the bitcoin price stays the same after xx months but if bitcoin price rises as the difficulty it will still be profitable thought it will still take months before ROI. in the current difficulty and btc price i can say im still getting pretty decent amount while having hash power on hashnest Smiley

Very good answer. It is not only about difficulty increase. Even if the difficulty will grow 6% in each period (which I doubt), with such increases in Bitcoin prices like in recent days (10%) it will be profitable. The problem will come only when the price of Bitcoin begin to fall. I hope it will not happen.. Wink

hopefully it will not happen, though because of the halving the bitcoin price might have its good ground price now, or maybe at the $800 level will be more friendly for us miners in this case and an increase of price based on how much difficulty has increased per 2 weeks period

The increase in difficulty is a very good sign and announces further increases in Bitcoin price. This represents an increase of interest in Bitcoin and increase investment in farms. More interest will always mean an increase in Bitcoin price. Do not be afraid in difficulty increase!  Grin
If the price falls difficulty will also fall so there's nothing bad about this. Only bad thing that could happen is if someone deploys a few PH/S and difficulty rises out of control. It's not likely, but more people looking at btc =/= more people mining.

There are a million "if's" in mining and the average increase per period is under 4.5%.  It is impossible to predict even semi accurately, so let everyone make their own assumptions/calculations.

Yes this screenshot is from my old account. So thats it, old accounts still show more currency on their wallet page. I already forgot those ltc and doge things if hashnest used to accept those currencies. Anyway thanks its just a little confusion for me xD

No worries confusions may lead to wrong decision making so it is better that you have remembered that hasnest does not accept the following currencies anymore for such a  reason

i have another concern, anyone knows why on my other account there are 3 currency shown in the wallet tab while on another account it only shows BTC?

Was that from an old account? because as far as i before they were accepting those other coins, but recently all of the users that has a balance on that certain currency should withdraw it already.
