For whom it may be usefull, i made a hashnest profitability calculator that calculates your earnings based on all the CURRENT factors (global hashrate and bitcoin price)
http://www.thelazygainer.com/Tools/

dont mind the site too much, im still working on it :p

any advice tips and tricks for the site are welcome, i'm still learning :p

Can you allow one to adjust what the maintenance cost of s7 and s9 is? Thanks
May I just ask why? 'Cause it may change in future or so? Give me an hour or so, I'll add the option Smiley

EDIT: customizeable fee should be working Smiley

Can you allow one to adjust what the maintenance cost of s7 and s9 is? Thanks

You can simply calculate maintenance fee as a percentage of your actual hashes

The price of S7 has been quiet steady the last few months, but I always try to sell and buy the hash for better prices, made some 0.05 btc on 2 weeks like that :p

What % is this if what you were investing or how much has were you buying and selling to get this?
I had 0.6 btc spread over s7-s9 and just constantly bought and sold and best prices for a week or two, got out a day before major hash leap lol

You can get these number (~0.05BTC per 2 weeks) with 1BTC investment

S7s are now very close to 90%. 3 days out of 4 this week they climb over 80%.

It looks like we again in rally season - every 2 weeks >10% growth

I think that now all noobs clear see that "profitable" calculations, which shown that S7 is better than S9 - were wrong

Guys, new technology is a new tech - invest your money wisely!

I never thought that it would take you more than month before you could recover your investments,  I only bought power on S9 for worth .002 but i only got .0003 for now

With Hashnest you can recover your investments at any time - just sell your hashpower and get away with mining profit!

i checked yearly chart of S7, and saw that a lot of GHS were bought way above then the current market trade, also if u order S7, and sell after 72 H of hash to market you loose 0.3BTC aprox.

I don't understand either why people still order Ant S7 for $370 (their number is stock desreases) whereas they can buy the hashrate at current market price with 30% discount.

Also I've just recalculated PPS payout for S9:

Current total hashrate: 2,812,940.6 TH/s
Blocks per day: 144
Average block reward: 13.5 BTC

So S9 revenue is 12.5 * (1 / 2,812,940.6) * 144 * 13.5 = 0.0086386467 BTC = 7.789 USD (at a rate 901.7).
S9 maintenance is 12.5 * 0.21 = 2.625 USD per day which means 33.74%.

Daily earnings 5.614 USD which is 0.3% (if Ant S9 price is $1699, current market price is 0.00015560 * 12500 * 901.7 = $1753.8, which is 3.2% higher).
Days to ROI: 303.

By the way, calculating maintenance ratio for Ant S7 is quite easy as it depends on the same ratio for S9. It is (0.445 / 0.21) * 33.74% = 71.5%.
Daily earnings for 4.86 THs of S7 hashpower are $0.8656.
Market price of the same hashpower is $256.8
Days to ROI: 297.

But if difficulty keeps increasing 15-18% per month as it did recently, S7 will go below trash level in 1.5-2 months, so they won't pay out unless BTC price surges.

lol did i tell anything about selling or buying anything?

i am telling that hashnest is manupulating the market and lying people by false stats, in their stats page. nothing more...

They don't lie. They just take average value for a period. When you look at the stock market, you can only see how it performed in the past, nobody will tell you the future. Yesterday and the day before maintenance for S9 was 24-28%, today it is 48%. Nobody knows what it will take tomorrow.

see for tomorrow, and day after tomorrow and day after after...

if it still shows 29% and 62% respectively , ok i am wrong. But no, this is just a simple math and it  cannot be wrong.

You couldn't predict 10 days ago the today's leap in difficulty. Last week everything was great. But you still can sell your hashpower and let it expire (likely for S7) or buy back at a cheaper price at some point (for S9).

Current correct fee ($922 = 1 BTC):

S9 >38% (not 28.85% of stats page)
S7 >80% (not 61.14% of stats page)

Really? On my Statistics page I see maintenance relative to revenue as they declare (29% and 62% respectively), at least for yesterday.

I have a support ticket open on this subject for 10 days now.

The stats page must be updated with last 2 difficulty increase.

Current correct fee ($922 = 1 BTC):

S9 >38% (not 28.85% of stats page)
S7 >80% (not 61.14% of stats page)

I think ,this is because  they want to show the fees lower in order to sell more hashpower.

I realized that there has been a huge increase in the mining difficulty lately. 16.64% is a large number, especially after such a long time without big jumps... The company launched the data center announced last year? What happened to the S7 miners? Is s9 the only option giving some profit?

I was shocked seeing a loss on my S7 contracts today. And I was double-shocked seeing this difficulty increase. And sold all my S7 hashpower immediately... it is unlikely that they pay back even at this relatively low THs price if difficulty keeps growing. But S9 look good and will benefit from their low maintenance cost.
