The purpose of my purchase would only be for profit Smiley

I know their S9's are profitable and I actually hold some but it's not profitable enough for me. Cloud mining is just for fun for me. my physical possessions of rigs outweighs my cloud investment by magnitudes.

If the don't pay out because of high electricity costs in cloud, why do you think that they will pay out for you? Do you have access to free or very-very cheap electricity?

I hope their S7 would go into redemption soon. That's why I want to know if anyone here has experience in receiving redeemed S5's.

The redemption period will be announced when the maintenance fee/payout ratio goes to 100%.
For the redemption miners will be the used machines but the factory will at least test them to make sure they are running before delivery to users.
Hope you understand those miners would not be completely new ones.

It was a couple of posts back to the time of S5 redemption. All noticed the TERRIBLE conditions of miners, with a piles of dust and dirt

Has anyone had previous redemption experience? how were the conditions of the S5's?

I am contemplating on buying S7 hashes mostly for redemption. Would like to hear your opinions. Thanks.

What are you going to do with them? Better just buy S9 as physical devices - it will be cheaper than buying hashrate and they are still profitable.

Is anyone getting satisfactory results with this service? I was thinking about investing, but it seems like most cloud mining investors go through bad experiences. It seems that hashnest is the least problematic, but this increase in the difficulty of mining is something to worry about.

Yes - difficulty is increasing so it is better do not invest in mining

S7 latest market price....   .00005105/ghs

S7 shop price...   .00008319/ghs (1 S7 unit .40431btc/4860ghs)

am i missing something or is the market price for S7 ghs
.000032/ghs cheaper than shop price?

cant be bothered to math it out but that's a significant percentage diff.  whats up with that?

Yes you are right, probably just a bunch of people that bought it at the beginning and now want to get rid of them... Anyone with a better answer can correct me :p
Easy reason? Second hand product? If it was the same price or higher why would people buy from market rather than first option? I mean I would buy from the main source if I can anytime. They make it cheaper so that people would buy it.

Lets assume there is this car dealership, you go there and see a brand new car and the owner, he says he just bought this car but can sell it to you for the same price , would you buy from the guy or the car dealership? That is why the second hand hashes are less worthy and cheaper.

Cars depreciate because of wear and tear, warranty runs out etc. I don't see any real difference between buying hash at the datacenter vs buying my own miner. Can you show me how 1Ths/ of new is different vs. what I buy on the market?

I received a total 653 email messages regarding "Remote Login Reminder" which states my activity which is really not my own operation.

Some of the locations are:

Japan; Kanagawa; Yokohama
Thailand; Krung Thep Maha Nakhon; Bangkok
Korea, Republic of; Daegu; Taegu
Japan; Tokyo; Tokyo

Do you think this a fraud attempt and the person involved are using VPN? What does this mean? Is Hashnest now a target?
I would guess they (the attempting person(s) ) have your email address and attempted 653 times to access your account :p perhaps make a note of that to hashnest

I'm wondering why S7s still cost something at the market. People either don't bother doing math or want to get physical devices...

Below is the maintenance to payout ratio according to my Android app (can't find how to get these numbers via web site):

23.01 - 114.4% (may not be fully accurate because I sold 99% of my S7 hashpower this day)
24.01 - 67.74%
25.01 - 88.43%
26.01 - 84.72%
27.01 - 69.94%
28.01 - 110.09%
29.01 - 105.37%
30.01 - 59.44%
31.01 - 108.51%

Average value is 89.85%. I'm not sure when then they will go into redemption period, but that must be very close...

Because people do not use it as a mining hashes - only to buy/sell (cheaper analogue of poloniex)

With Hashnest you can recover your investments at any time - just sell your hashpower and get away with mining profit!
I see2, wait i think that it is a good idea however if we are going to wait the market price of the power also lowers down so i guess we still can't get the profit that we desire?

I don't know, but S9 price hit the record today, although the increasing difficulty shifted maintenance to 35-40% instead of 25-30% a month ago. 12.5 THs would cost 2 BTC on the market which is 12% higher than the price of the new devices sold by Hashnest (currently out of stock though), although 10 days ago when the devices were in stock, the market and stock prices were equal. But if the devices appear in stock unexpectedly, the price will fall 10% and people who buy the hashpower now on the market will lose 10% of their equity. And 10% is a month of mining, by the way.

I never thought that it would take you more than month before you could recover your investments,  I only bought power on S9 for worth .002 but i only got .0003 for now

May I just ask why? 'Cause it may change in future or so? Give me an hour or so, I'll add the option Smiley

EDIT: customizeable fee should be working Smiley

Yes it will change in dependence to BTC price and difficulties - but in general formulae works
