I got the email as well, and I went ahead and filled it out for a refund. We'll see if that happens.

Are you sure it's safe to submit this info? I would be worried as hell.

Only deposits can be made with the info given.

Good to know

so is there any closure after more than a year?

Looks like simon/hashra disappeared with the loot and lifeforcepools/jj-something is pretending like nothing happened, did he refund everyone?

The rooster has flown the nest. He is long gone with our money.

Has the same grammar and spelling skills of Garza too I see.

If muppets like that can scam millions I guess we're lucky that someone educated and literate comes around only maybe once in a generation. Madoff perhaps? He was somewhat intelligent it seems.

On the other hand, if you are educated and literate you have a better shot of making millions legitimately so you have less need to scam.  (Not that anybody actually "needs" to scam.)

If you look at his Facebook page, he just reeks of the self-centered, egotistical asshole he appears to be here.

I buy accounts knowing full well that I may never receive anything. I'm not sure of your business accumen but here's an old adage - The Higher the Risk, the higher the Reward and the Higher the Return and I'm sure I'm older than you (I am sure of that) amd have built multi million dollar companies form the ground up and sold every one of them at a profit.

Never risk more than you're preared to lose - and this is a risk I'll take.

best of luck to you, but it's unfair to blame people for trying to recover some of their investment to people who understand the risk. They're taking HUGE lossses and I'm taking a big risk, but my rosk is smaller than their looses.

They are always great opportunities when markets are in turmoil and for me the opprunity to purchase 350 MH/s of scrypt mining power for about $150 is just too hard to pass up.

peace out...

LOL - yes I did see that quote about him building multi-million dollar companies.  I was shocked to see that he indicated that he was a programmer by day too - lol - but needed help with a firmware update.

Small-time crook?  I don't want to make any accusations - but it sure seems like he's hanging and dealing with the wrong type of people / companies.

And if it does turn out to be true -- we all know his identity.  Which is what surprises me the most.  He's not hiding.

Definitely a personality with no regard for the law or maybe he is delusional and feels that everything he's doing is ok?

Regardless it is concerning.  All this scamming and scheming needs to stop.

It is probably just a matter of time before someone comes a knocking on the door.

So we've gone from the vaporware Hashra Astros @ $450 for 100Mh/s now to some non-existent ponzi hardware @ $150 for 350Mh/s.

And he's talking about having a state-of-the-art data center in New Jersey to host people's hardware (which sounds like his buddy's ice skating rink from the emails we had about a year ago).

This guy is truly unbelievable.

Funny how he doesn't mention anything about his Smarterhash site on Litecointalk.  Totally different persona -- but also doesn't hide behind a new identity -- still using the old jjj0932.

Is this a sub-conscience cry for help?  Perhaps?  "Please feds -- please investigate me and all of my schemes.  I need help!"

Narcissistic personality disorder.

Looks like he's just a small-time crook, which are dime a dozen in these forums.

As soon as I read "multi million dollar companies" a switch toggles in my head that prevents me from taking anything else he says with any kind of seriousness  Grin

You have to dig a bit into it -- but if you do a search for jj0923 on the board you'll find all types of crazy stuff.

When I saw this -- I thought -- no way -- this can't be -- this guy is selling those Hashra Astros.  LOL  I mean that hasn't been resolved yet.

I was really hoping that this person wasn't a total scammer -- but after reading the posts -- I'm pretty shocked.

Yes, that's our guy. He has an uncanny affinity for scams. MAT, Hashra, LTCGear... also a Garza-like business acumen:

In case you're not familiar with LTCGear - it's a ponzi that stopped paying nearly 9 months ago but the perp is still stringing everyone along with promises to ship 350 MH/s hardware. Seems our friend "not so smart hash" Jeff wants a part of that too.

Ok - am I crazy or is jjj0923 the same as Smarterhash the same as Lifeforcepools?

If so - is this guy now talking about opening up a data center for a bunch of 350Mh/s Scrypt boards that he is trying to sell to others?  Anyone see all this talk on Litecointalk?

Fascinating!

Yes, same guy. Are those the LTCGear vapor-boards? Do you have a link?
