Hey I'm new to that crypto game and wanna make some money 
Have bought into BTC and have sent it to bitfinex now and wan't to start trading and investing later.
A friend of me who is in the game for while told me that almost all coins are crap and I should hold only BTC and maybe Monero but not now because prices are still too high.
I'm thinking now about to short Ripple, IOTA, Litecoin and Ethereum.
So my question is what is the most worthless shitcoin that make me the most money with shorting and how low can it go?

If you will take crypto investment and trading as a gambling game, you will lose for sure. It is not a game. It is a serious business. And entering this market you should be able to control yourself, your emotions, your bankroll. And the most important thing is that you shouldn't join this market without the necessary set of knowledge of it, of its behavior. Otherwise, you will soon lose all your investment. It is not true that only Bitcoin is worth something. There are a lot of good cryptocurrencies out there, because behind each of them is a working product and company (like behind stock exchange shares). But everybody picks its own investment coins. Before investing, learn this market, its coins, and the platforms/products behind them. You can make profit (even a big one) on any coin you wish but only if you have the necessary knowledge of this market, trading and the right time to buy and sell. But that knowledge won't come without the actual experience. If you here to gamble, better leave now if you don't want to lose everything. This market doesn't spare amateurs and unprepared people.

How do you mean when you said gambling? I do not think this is the correct word to use. Any way if you want to buy and hold you can buy Bitcoin and also ethereum. The two are good because of their liquidity in the market. They are also commanding the highest volumes respectively. Have a look at Minex coin. Babb and telcoin.

Most investors do not want to invest in altcoin during this time. I think the trend of altcoin will be down in the next few days. I did not invest in altcoin a few months ago. I just want to focus on investing in Bitcoin

With 10k, it looks like starting with top10 coins would be a great start, at least with portions that do not have to be the same.
It may be a little late for now, but I think all will experience pretty good growth before the end of the year.

Thats actually a pretty big amount to start with. I think the best strategy is to diversify. It will maximize your earnings and at the same time it will minimize your lost. You can divide your investment into five and choose five best crypto in the market. Bitcoin, ethereum, litecoin, monero, and ripple are good combinations.

Just buy and hold, do not gamble with your money especially if you are a newbie, you will end up regretting it in the long run. Just buy coins like bitcoin and ethereum to hold for the long term, You don't even have to do anything, just make sure that the wallet that you are holding the coins in is secure and just be patient. Then you can sell the coins by the next bull and make a lot of profit.

Gambling in the first place is not the word to use when you intend to commit such a big amount of money, if you intend to come in with an intention to take chances then you ae in the wrong platform and you are probably going to lose money. decide on what you want to do with your money, carry out a market research and put your money in the right places.
