The first thing to do when planning to invest in a crypto is to understand that there's a risk. Your fund is already good and never starts investing without knowing how crypto works and gain knowledge first to reduce the experiencing losing money. We are accountable for our own doing.

There is no such thing as "minimum" amount to invest. You can invest with any amount of coins. Its not like you will have to invest on cheap coins since you don't have high investment amount. Remember, you don't need to buy one whole coin to trade or hold. You can always hold or trade a fraction of a coin. Isn't it better to own a fraction of a good coin rather than owning a whole shit coin?
my advice if you want to plunge into the world of crypto with such capital, it is more than enough, but you must be prepared to lose some% even up to 60% of your assets today, because the knowledge of trading on crypto is insufficient, you can practice with a demo / learning account with experienced people to reduce some of your losses.

If you are investing in anything with a minimal budget everyone always look for potential coins that could give you the profit in the long run but the problem with the crypto market is that you cannot trust any new coins or projects. If you find projects from reputed team then you can invest other than that it is bettor to stay away from cheap coins.

Is it more than enough in order to make daily trades but make sure you know how to trade and don't get into panic sell or panic buy. Make sure you're using top exchanges ( see coinmarketcap top exchanges ) and then start trading top altcoins if you really want to make some profits because if you trade non-name coins you will loose money most of the cases.
If you want to invest the best example is you make your own research about the projects and rarely listen to investment advice from internet users in this way you will not invest in shill coins. I would suggest to you to buy from top 50 on coinmarkercap but on same way you can try to find some hidden gems.

It's enough to start trading. There are more possibilities to gain profit if you buy low market cap coins. Coins with a high price won't help you make a good profit. There are so many things you need to check out before starting trading. Imagine you're choosing Binance to trade. First, you need to search for coins that what great pump in the past. Then you need to go for the current price & check the supply. After then you look for volume I would not suggest trading coins which has less than 50 BTC daily volume. Im not kinda sure at right now on which one would be profitable whether investment or trading. Investing would be long term and you should pick the right crypto, if you would engage into this, I would suggest investing your money on huge cryptos in the market such as BTC , ETH, XRP and the likes. Trading on the other hand would be also a good idea but keep in mind the market situation we are currently experiencing. Hope you got my point.

I think $500 is too much for newbie to start trading, why don't you start at least $50 just to practice it how to trade works, just learn first before putting big money in trading. I feel $500 might've too much for daily trading. Since you sound like a starter, it is better you start with a minimal amount of fund, perhaps $100, if you can afford to lose that. Doing a thing for the first time, might result into some unforeseen and unpredictable circumstance(s). Also, instead of using all to day-trade, you can invest in good coins, perhaps about five of them. 
500 dollars is enough to use for day-trade in my opinion. Even if you have 10 dollars, you can do trading and get some profit, just you have to pick the assets very carefully and you need to watch the market, especially Bitcoin. Its moves determines how altcoins will move. So better be careful.
of course it's very enough, but the most important is whether you can manage it, if you buy from origin you can lose, at least you must have trading or investment experience.

You should first think about what kind of trade you would do $500 is enough and other might also consider it as a big start.You should choose the crypto that you would buy depending on your plan.
But for me the best crypto to invest right now is BTC and ETH of course BTC would always be the best while on the other hand ,
I believe that ETH would soon fly since it has been so low for so long now.
I would suggest you to start with the coins which are already listed under good exchanges and priced under a dollar but be very choosy when it comes to first investment as it would be difficult to recover the money if you go for a wrong coin, you can start with coins like XRP or XLM as these coins keeps fluctuating every now and then, learn the art of trading then go for new coins which will be listed in binance.
500$ is also a good fund to start trading. But, before you do trading make sure you have enough knowledge about it. If I were you try to separate your 500$ in bitcoin, ethereum, ripple and in binance coins. Those cryptocurrencies that I have mentioned are really good crypto that helps you to make a profit. I think it is not good to do daily trading if you do not have huge funds. Lastly, do not invest in a new coin or in a new project that you have seen.

If he were to spend his $500 in trading, its no wonder that he will lose it in no time. Due to lack of experience and even knowledge, he will only become a victim of the market's volatility. He might sell his investment after buying it.Therefore we must give advice to the newbie so as not to lose all of his money, despite the high risk in the world of cryptocurrency, but we give good direction to the OP.
My advice to buy coins that are already popular or at least you buy ETH and BTC for investment so that you don't lose too much if you go down.
No need limit amount for making profits if you are new man here, if you have good skills then you can makes profitable for starting trading. I think your profit limit will be low but no problem slowly you will makes good profitable. So don't be confused about if just show what skills do you have now.
