Only small amounts, and on rare  occasions larger amounts. But if you have proper  care, and follow the safety recommendations  to prevent such things from happening,  probably you will not have  major problems with it.

I lost like 0.3 mined BTC just because I put a wrong wallet address. I contacted the pool support but there was nothing they could do by that point... That was totally my fault.

Honestly in my whole experienced in bitcoin world, I don't have any idea about that pool support thing.

Can you or anyone here explained what is that poll support and how can we able to reached them?

He (according to his words) was a miner and most likely put a different payout address to receive his mining rewards at. He then contacted the pool in question to see if they could probably "refund" him that amount, but they of course refused. That's what he means.

Oh I see thanks for some information.

I overlooked the word "0.3 mined" so I think he lost it via exchange then I wondered how he contact the pool lol.

Pool is  referring to mining for sure. He did mining on a specific pool website then he transfered his mined coins to other wallet address which is somehow  very sad to hear . We do commit  such mistakes if we dont  pay to attention to it. In order to avoid those circumstances we should  be careful next time.

Yeah thanks for clarification.

Anyways mistakes sometimes a big help for us. Since we can't learned much really well if the process goes in a perfect one. The mistakes we are experiencing are the one who makes us a better person here in bitcoin world.

I have never lost my bitcoins and even do not wish to do that! haha Thanks God I choosed for myself the most unrisky strategy for making bitcoins, I just commenting here and getting payment from  my campaign and that's it. Yes, I have tried to gamble buy the prize was the same as that money I gambled with, so now I am very sceptic about some big prize there.

Yes, I have lost bitcoins few times in past. Mainly I lost in my initial days of trading, when I was not fully aware how the game works. Another one time, I lost because of p2p loans where people scammed the entire investor group.

These are the two ways I was lost some bitcoins. But I have now well recovered those losses and I have stopped taking too much risk to minimize my losses.
yes i also lost bitcoin for so many times in past and mostly i lost bitcoins in gambling, but i also earn a goo amount of bitcoin in gambling and in lending bitcoins.

In gambling if you invest for earning money then it is definitely the lose of your money but if you invest or we can say spend some money for to just play the games then we just call them as spending for playing and we cannot call them as the lose of our money.

Its a large amount i can not spend 0.3 in bitcoin maybe i can get some partial for gamble 0.01 is enough to gamble.. 0.3 is a large amount that you can do any you want or you can buy more stuffs online or convert it to fiat and eat aything you want..

0.3 bitcoin is not a small amount but it can't be so powerful that it can help you to do anything or eat anything you want.
If I remember right I have seen your comment somewhere said that you are a poor person from a poor third world country, so 0.3 bitcoin is a big amount for you, but don't expect too much or else you will hit disappoint point.

Yes 0.3 is a big amount to loose, even I have lost in gambling in past but maximum I have lost is 0.1 not more then that and many times I have won too, so I am in profits if I look at overall picture.

Those bad experience really giving us people to make some right decision in the future. That's why the output of those mistakes is sometimes right.

Now after lossing bitcoin in the past, make sure that it won't happen again because if such losses will happen again, then you are not learning well after those mistakes in the past.

I lost many bitcoin. I'm not getting a profit on it. First I join investment site and after 2 months it become scam. I tried gambling too sometimes I win but most of the i lost. They say try trading. Because of no knowledge in trading. I lost btc too because of scam coins. Because of all my experience i will be more careful where I will be spent my btc.

For sure you have already learned a lesson with it. This kind of lost happened to me too, because when I was still doesn't have enough knowledge with the investments of bitcoin that is going to give me good profit. At first I thought that investing to those type of sites that offers big returns of interest are real. But what happened they are real scamming sites but as of now, I am been careful for investing as I learned a lesson already.
Yeah and I think it’s how bitcoin teaches you to earn and spend bitcoin more carefully and mostly everyone got this lesson when they entered the bitcoin world.
All investing like gambling and trading contains some risks especially gambling when it relies all on your luck so you’ll need some knowledge and willingness.
Therefore, these painful-but-not-useless experience will help you a lot in the future.

Somewhere somehow we all have lost our coins, I have lost many times in gambling as I was addicted to it, but after doing all calculations I came to an conclusion that its better to stay away from gambling.

Yes I have lost in the past when I was a newbie and I still remember it was my first transaction and I sent btc to a wrong address, no doubt amount was not too high, but loss is after all a loss.

So majority the stage when someone lost his bitcoins when they are still newbies. And include also there as I lost my bitcoins too when I was still newbie, but it is very unnecessary that someone is going to send a bitcoin to another wallet address without checking. But maybe you are not aware of it that the bitcoin address you accidentally sent bitcoins is anonymous.

It depends on what is the state of mind of a person at that particular stage, and this sounds very silly mistake but those mistakes are bound to happen someday with an human being.
