Slow transactions are common

What happens to sent fund when due to slow transaction exchange changes deposit wallets address?

For example when I tried to deposit litecoin to coinbase, exchange gave me two different address during 3 days. Few days ago, my transaction of ethereum waited for confirmation for 8 hours. Imagine if I would have sent ethereum to an address, and exchange changed deposit address during these 8 hours. Will I receive my funds or I need to spend time referring to support and giving proof of my deposit ?

Anyone experienced that ?

Slow transactions are common, and one common problem is the wallet/platform you sending it to, more likely a technical cause. Also its worth checking that the addresses haven't got typos and that where you depositing is legit and up and running. If this seems all fine then fire out some emails to the support team.

It depends on the number of the blocks are available and the system is fully functional because sometimes they are maintenance that causes of having a slow transaction also in terms of deposits sometimes there are some confirmations like needed to have almost 50 confirmation before your funds are fully transferred, also we have the transaction fee it depends on this how fast the transaction may be delivered sometimes it does into minutes, hours and whole day before they make a confirmation.

Most of this problem that have not arrived in your second address for sure the address that you put is wrong or the wallet is not updated. Are you sure that you put correctly the address and not the other coins address?.. Try to contact their support maybe they can help.
I this k if you are aware of transferring of funds most of the time you must know what are the wallet address they needed most common mistakes of the newbie is the btc wallet address and the bch wallet address and they think it looks the same so they use those address instead the another one. Still, it is rarely happening so there is no chance of having this kind of mistake happens.

I have experienced a deposit not received, it turns out I wrote the wrong address. I sent LTC, but I used a BTC address. So the withdrawal
was successful, but the deposit was not received. Be careful when sending cryptocurrency, always check whether the address the deposit is
correct. If it's like that, our coins will be involved in the blockchain network forever. But if the address is correct, We haven't received the crypto
we sent. Another possibility is that you use a low transaction fee, so sending can take a long time.Wait for 2-3 days the coins sent to be received.

Have you ever deposited a currency in one of the sites or exchanges and did not receive the currency in your account.  I means that the withdrawal was already done in your first account but did not reach your second account on the other exchange and remained on the network. Is this possible? What can be done?
Have you contacted the support?

I have an experience like that, at that time I sent XLM in my first exchange to my second exchange but I've been waiting for almost three days. But it was my fall because I forgot to put the memo when trying to send my XLM and I contact the support to my first exchange and they're able to return all my XLM.  In this case, I use a trusted exchange. I mean, my first exchange has been trusted by many people so as they will try hard to help anything that falls to its user. It may be different when you choose a bad exchange, I mean you choose a bad exchange, new exchange, or just a few users who know the exchange the most possibilities you've been scammed by the exchange and it means you'll never get back the coin that you sent.

I have never experienced that before.
May I know what type of coin did you used to send? There are times transaction time takes long but will not took many days though.
And, have you checked the address you have entered, as you know there are different malwares out there that automatically change the address to where you will send it.

Also, you can check the blockchain to see the progress or status of your transaction.
Here is a guide on how to do it.

Yes it happens. Slow confirmation speeds and the higher number of confirmation requirements make it possible. Use this - https://bitaccelerate.com/
This website broadcasts your transaction to too many pools for free, instantly and your chances go higher to get a confirmation.
Another thing could be that the recipient exchange is possibly experiencing some technical issues within, so it's always better if you check with the exchange you sent with or the one you're going to receive your coins at. You also need to take care of the fact that some exchanges don't allow you deposits through smart contracts as it'll violate their terms.

BTC to the MOON in 2019
It happens and I experience that, the simple solution to that is just to send message to the support, exchanges have different rate in terms of response time but as long as they respond and solve the issue, you can trust them. No exchange are perfect, sometimes they are having problem on their system, so we need to immediately inform them if the processing period is not normal anymore.

* wrong address destination
* fake address
* a scam exchanges
* no confirmation is done
All of these are the common reason why are not able to see your deposit into your wallet. Just like sending BTC to the BCH wallet address( as a mistake) surely it won't arrive into your Bitcoin wallet and have nothing to arrive either.

That why it is very important to double-check the addy first and also check the legitimacy of the exchanges you use, you might not know that you are already been trick by these scammers and use phishing sites.

That is common and I experienced it several times.

The most common reason for my case is the destination platform itself (receiving address). The wallet is not updating and does have a sort of technical problem. If your transaction got confirmed and the address is correct, don't worry as you received at your end unless that platform do have a sudden problem or scam.

Anyways, you won't ask this question without a reason. Do you experience this now? What are the platforms involved?

This has happened to me on bitforex, I transferred a token down there, with the required gas from my imtoken wallet to the Exchanger site where am to sell off the token. It was just a $9 to $10 worth of it. Now on the other hand the gas system came up high and the token was stock in network up till today I didn't check in for the token again before that even got to the point they want to scam me with another means on how to make the token land on Exchanger wallet.

It happens with my coinbase account too often but it was just due to the bug, soon the balance will get reflected once I close the app or just after an hour later.So it is not possible for your transaction to remain on the network once it was completed unless you deposited into a fake exchange or wallet.

Yes it is possible but also depends on the type of coin you sent. I think this issue also occurs in exchanges because I remembered having such issue; I made a transaction which was successful from my end, arrived in the exchange wallet but wasn't reflecting on my personal account. After waiting for a while and it wasn't successful I had to send a message to the support with enough proofs and it was rectified. So depending on the type of transaction you did, if it's in exchanges then contact the exchange with all proofs and it will be solved, unless it is a scam exchange.
Also, low transaction fee on Ethereum or Bitcoin can still cause a delay, thus you need to accelerate the transaction in the case of Bitcoin, OR resend the transaction from another mobile wallet (maybe trust wallet) in the case of Ethereum.

It is possible. About what currency you are talking about? Bitcoins? Also, what are the exchanges you are using? Why not you add these specific things here so that people will try to help you exactly? I understand that you are talking about bitcoin as you are able to see on network, it may take time to get confirmation and after the required confirmation, it will be appearing on your account of your second exchange.

Hope you are aware of what is confirmation in bitcoin transactions.
You may check your deposit history on your second account for reflecting the deposit you are worrying about.
You must learn about the practices of your second exchange on required confirmation on different cryptocurrencies. Typically exchanges may get your deposited completed after 3 to 6 confirmations. For every services that you are going to use with cryptos, make sure about their policy on required confirmation before depositing with them.

This happened to me sometimes when I intended to sell some of my ethereum coins from Blockchain wallet to Binance exchange. This transaction stayed over a week on the network before I tendered the issue to a friend, he helped me to accelerate the transaction and few hours I got the ethereum coins into my wallet. This is cause by low transaction fee or network congesture and can be accelerated for faster delivery, you can seek for help on service section.

Depends on several factors;

•Legitimacy of the exchange
•Network congestion

These are things which i do saw that can really affect into these kind of transaction and as said by other members here which
you should at least wait for 24 hours and if every hasnt been credited yet then thats the time to reach out support.

As long as I am familiar with bitcoin and this forum I have never experienced that problem. But some of my friends have experienced it, and there are those who managed to complete the transaction process smoothly, but there are also those who until now have not received anything in their account.

Problems on the exchange network may be the main problem or can be related to transaction costs that are too low and transactions cannot be processed, so wait a long time to be able to process it or it can fail.

If the exchange you use is an exchange scam and gets a bad reputation, then don't expect you to accept the deposit you have made.

I am always careful when choosing Exchange, I do a lot of research to ensure that the exchange is safe. Use the help feature on the exchange if there is an error on their network.

That is a common issue it happens sometimes, I experience that on a particular exchange before my deposit does not go through, the best thing to do is contact and email the exchange support. In my case, it happens because at the time of my deposit they are having unplanned maintenance, so that is the reason of the delay in the transaction. Also, there are so many cases that cause a delay either withdrawal or deposit sometimes a clogged on the network on a certain blockchain. I suggest if you are doing arbitration between exchanges better use fast blockchain, like USDT that are base on ETH or TRX, not Omni it is slow. BNB, XLM is fast too, that is what I do when I do transfer from one exchange to another.

There're are too many factors that might the reason why you didn't receive your Bitcoin or other cryptos from the exchange platform you used.
Yes, I'd experienced this several times, I contacted the team and ask them or see the further announcement of the exchange if there is maintenance activity.
(....)
+1 on this. If you understand and already it's on the network, you can do is to wait, unless the exchange you use to withdraw will bump the fee or accelerate the transaction. So if ever you want some answers, the first you should contact here is the exchange itself.

Some exchanges now are doing the batch transactions, like there are/is specific time they process withdrawals in a batch transaction. Depends on an exchange, make sure you should know this before withdrawing in some exchange so you will not worry.

What others stated above is fair enough to know that BTC transaction might get delayed, take too much long due low fees etc. but it will never happen that BTC never ended up in the final destination address.

There were hundred thousands of transactions those were pending for more than 5-6 days in the late 2017 when transaction acceleration came into boom.

That was the longest delay I had experience myself. But it finally got into my wallet.
