I haven't got any lucky break in gambing so I do not have any good story that influence my friend iand lure gambling. All they know that gambling is the one that will deplete their bankroll once they got hooked in it. They always set me as an example since I never won any good amount in the game, my friends

I gamble secretly and didn’t share any of my winnings so technically, I didn’t lure anyone into gambling.
Though I know someone who are posting his gambling winnings because he is part of that site as an agent where he can get a bonus if he successfully attract gambler using his link.

Most of the time they only share the winnings but not their losses and if you are attracted on that better also to ask about their losses and the security of the site, don’t just believe easily on those winnings it can be manipulated.

If you don't feel that there are people turned into gamblers that are gambling willingly then you better think of it again. There are for sure those gamblers that no one has encouraged them to do and even don't see others winning.
But, it's what they like and willing to do and they have their various reasons for that. It's not all about being influenced but sometimes, it's all about being curious with it.

I gamble with just little amount, so I don't really win big amounts like that, most of my friends also gamble, so my win haven't lured anybody to gambling before, because most of my friends are also gamblers. Which you don't expect me to be sharing my wins with strangers, so I always keep it to myself.

Yes I have predicted some games for my friends before and they won, actually the amount won was not really much, because I always caution them to gamble with just little amount they can afford to lose, so even whenever I give them game they don't use huge amount and they amount they will win is not always much.

Understandable as to why you won't share any information about your gambling winnings to your friends since it's highly likely that they'll pass it over to your other friends, however I'm much more concerned about the lie or secret that you're keeping on your wife since that's the main reason you don't want tell it to anyone is because she'll find out.

I know you respect your wife however sooner or later they'll find out that you're gambling especially if you win a huge amount.

Anyways, if I were you and I also lose most of the time, I'll do the same and keep it to myself Grin

Before I’m still sharing my profit with my friends and some of them asked me to teach them and guide them in gambling which I did without any hesitation. I teach them everything especially the risk of losing the money and the risk about addiction. Your winnings can easily attract someone because that is an indication that the site is good and they are paying. Right now I choose to be more private and stop sharing my winnings, because one of my friend before blame me for losing his money, this can result to a worst situation if I continue sharing my winnings, they might become more greedy.

I think a gambler will always share his history of big wins with his close relatives because it becomes a great pleasure when big wins can be shared with close friends. However, in a situation like this, there are friends who are interested in gambling because they are captivated by the winning history of their friends, some are not. I experienced this myself because I bought drinks for my close friends when I won in gambling and there were friends who were interested in joining the world of gambling, but I said if you join in gambling you must be able to bear every risk that will come because an invitation to join gambling is something that can change a person's fate.

I can't say I did but I think I'm the one being lured by them when they start telling stories on how they win by gambling. Well, to feed my curiosity I just tried to gamble in the past thinking I could win like them but ended up losing all my funds that day. lol It was a good experience though and frustrating at the same time but I did enjoy and learn some lessons about it that it's not good to gamble because it's kinda addictive and you might lose your self control and newbies should avoid or have someone that knows what gambling are to stop you when you can't control yourself.

Not really, I always choose to be quiet and silent whenever I win because it doesn't matter if they know it or not. What matters is that I've got the win and I don't want it to be known by the others.

I've never lured other people to gamble through sharing my betting results, but I've already been lured into gambling by others games' results.

People I talk about gambling are always fearful about betting and risking money, so doesn't matter how huge I can win, those results will never wake interest from those people for gambling inside themselves. Anyway, I don't want to delude anyone about gambling outcomes. I let all the risks involved on this activity very clear and accept their responsible decision of not betting without further arguments and discussions. Each person must know what is better for himself and others must respect their decision.

Other way around actually. I had a friend who placed all his airdrop earnings to a crypto casino and diligently earned tens of thousands of dollars through the whole process. He did this in the height of 2020's bull run so that could also be one of the reasons why he won so much in so little time but that was enough for me to once again try cryptocurrency gambling after months of abstaining from it, given the fact that I lost quite a considerable amount prior to this ordeal. Still, even during the months when I am not gambling I still give gambling advice to our little group chat where we gave tips on how to maximize wins and minimize losses, especially in luck-based games.

yeah, my friend got into gambling because of the money I won at a town fair(or "perya" as we call it in our country ). to be clear, the money I won is not that big but since we were still in our teens at that time, the money I won seems a lot. if you are curious about the gambling game I played, it is called color games which is quite a popular gambling game in town fairs.

After celebrating my win, some of my friends tried to ask where the money came from. I answered and explained that the money I got from betting on gambling. after I told them everything and gave a detailed explanation to them (my friends) my friends forced me to teach how to bet on crypto-based online gambling sites.
and I also gave a little capital for them to try to bet on the esports match yesterday.
without realizing it I gave predictions to them to bet on one of the teams that I believe to win, my friends got a pretty big win.

You are right, that gambling is best enjoyed with a clear mind and free of emotions. I only place my bets if I am on this kind of mood because I can easily accept my defeat if ever I didn't win. Others who have a problem in gambling should try this trick sometimes.

In my own experience, I am not telling to anyone that I am into gambling since i am living in a household where gambling is prohibited and also this country is not open to this thing, they always thought that gambling is illegal that's why I am not telling anyone that I'm into it. I don't know if some people have the same concern like me, I don't want to have a problem in the future so I don't tell anyone my hobbies especially my winnings in gambling.

I also have concerns like you bro, I keep what I do related to gambling a secret.
I'm sure some people also prefer not to say it even with their family.
Because this concerns the problem of norms that apply in our environment and in our family, right?.
Because I think gambling may still be considered a negative thing and a futile activity even though it's in a country where some gambling is legal.

Honestly I was never big gambler. I mainly played sports and even football betting. I hang out with people around betting locations/centers and discuss. I did this far more in past. I saw many people were inspired by great betters /gamblers there. Some people knew every player, every strategy a team has. They could count which players was showing good performance in last 5 matches and which player was terrible. It was mind blowing. I am sure 18-25 year olders would be lured into gambling by that type of people.
