I taught I'm missing something in your post, rdyoung, so I read it again. You are calculating in reinvestments, at $6/gh, and still numbers do not differ much from the case with no reinvestment.
That's telling me that at continous 20% network increase, and $6/gh for new hardware, it has no big effect on earnings. Petamine will be falling too much behind total network hashrate too fast.
Hope is, that network will not increase at 20% for long time, and hardware price will be lower.

Running some #s in regard to PE and the difficulty curve.

I am not sure about the ipo shares they pulled so I will post 2 different outcomes on Earnings per share.
Here are the basics, 600$/btc 6$/GHS for reinvestment. 20% increase every 11 days. I like a few others in here know that its mathematically improbable for the difficulty to keep climbing at 15-20% for any length of time. But, I based the math on this as a fixed point going forward so its likely things will be better than my #s say they will. I also have the reinvestment based on 11 days because its late and I am not in the mood to alter my spreadsheet to account for the difference in dividend payouts and diff adjustments.
Oh, and I also am not accounting for the management/power fees, etc. Nor did I account for the drop in $/GHS.

Now on to the #s.
Based on 100,000shares and the mine starting @ 220ths on march 1st.
358 days from now the mine will have produced 2266.216BTC @ 600$ is 1.36Million$ And EPS of 0.02266btc

If they base dividends on the 80674 outstanding shares, then the EPS becomes 0.02809btc

Ha ha. Maybe in March arrive, or the case in court. Bitmine begins to be a scammer

Bitmine looks legit. You look like a troll.

Five days ago Cointerra made it absolutely clear that they had sent all machines form batch 1 (http://cointerra.com/update-production-news-latest-firmware-user-guide-posted/). So, we should receive all of them (30) during this week.

Position of Bitmine is a bit puzzling as of now. Let's hope they deliver before end of February.

Cryptx posted last week that bitmine would be arriving this week.

Looks like petamine is receiving them -- up to ~~ 9TH; 3x the first two units so I would expect they have 6 online now.

03 down p3 underperforming
03 was renamed to O3.
P5 is underperforming. Like only one chip is hashing.

Seems I was half asleep. thanks- yes you are correct

return works out at less than 10 weeks dividend once the mine is fully operational. That doesn't include any extra's or reinvestment

Don't know which calculation you have made in order to get to the 10weeks div.

http://www.vnbitcoin.org/bitcoincalculator.php

If I calc and assume the diff increase will keep at the same pace (+/- 20% every diff change) that an investment of 25.5btc for 1000Ghs has a ROI time of over 360days. This assumes 100% is being paid out in dividend and there are no electricity costs.

100% return via dividends is ~360 days assuming:

Full rate is deployed fairly shortly
Last shareprice is 0.071
~20% mean diff increase, historically correct
NO re-investments, no own production PCB, no squeezing any extra performance out of hardware, no compensation

So operating on that assumption of completely no re-investments (which is really the key part to this venture, and not fair to exclude it really ) that's still 360 day return of what would take you around 11,230 days or 30+ years investing into Asicminer (based on last dividend and current last market price of asicminer). so let's imagine shareholders are happy with 30 year return here, shareprice will be 2.13 BTC

well of course that's a stupid argument.. but it just give a little perspective. obviously AM is going through period where divs have been extremely low and many are happy to hold regardless because of past performance and future news, but in the past when they are performing well shareholders had settled on weekly yield of ~0.5% , you can work out what the shareprice would be here with similar expections of yield. even toned down a fair amount there is considerable potential here. During the stage BitFury hardware was in use all shareholders were pretty happy, operation was extremely smooth. if things can scale up from now in a similar way, things will be exciting.

If indeed the return is 10 weeks of div than I'll go all-in.

the 35% reinvestment will offset the difficulty increase, especially if they can make there own boards

Shouldn't you take in consideration the weekly dividend pay and the (possible) difference in price of the shares?
I was planning to reinvest the dividends by purchasing more shares. Anyone else?
this way if the share price stays srable, I should have roi quite sooner Smiley

Some calculations, correct me if I'm wrong :

80675 outstanding shares
2.4 Gh/s + 20% / share = 2.88 Gh/s

Ultimately we should hash @ 232.34 Th/s

ATM we have 7.6 Th/s -> 3.3% of the promised farm

0.00015308335 BTC / share every 10 days

I know it's just the beginning but I hope it'll ramp up soon !

of course it will ramp up, this week, as stated last week. You could maybe do the calculation for another 20% on top if you are looking at "should", but you might as well save the calculations until we have an update that says "we are fully deployed with all the contracted equipment..." etc

I'm laughing my tits off at how low the price of these shares are. excellent work CryptX

Which calculations are you doing which make you laugh?

2.88Gh/s a share which costs 0.0735btc each.

This averages about 25.5btc for 1 Th/s, if you ask me that's quite expensive.

Or am I missing something in my calculations?
