China Binance exchange Binance will start a “Community coin per month” program. Each month, Binance will list a community voted coin on our exchange, without any listing fees.

Only registered Binance users can vote.
Upon completion of the voting process, Binance will list the coin on our exchange within a reasonable timeframe. Depending on market response, we will try to conduct this event monthly. Binance reserves all rights to adjust the rules of this event, including processing of any vote manipulation.
Open source is not a key factor,NEM still has its NIS infrastructure remain closed source despite commitments to open source it.
Love seeing these updates from the HEAT team. Lots of exciting stuff in the pipeline. It should be a great few months ahead!
Today's brief sitrep update from the previous topic:
We just finished our daily wrapup with Dennis and are approaching finalization of the 3rd party partner-customer EUR gateway software. This will enable us to finally proceed with the deployment of the crypto <-> fiat gateway with fiat-like tokens tradeable on the Heat Wallet. The scope won't be limited to the EUR / HEAT pair and EUR / BTC pairs - the plan is to eventually allow numerous trading pairs, even new aspiring ICOs and ITOs to be traded against an EUR pegged crypto token.
The legal arrangements to make this possible are still in progress, so a few weeks on this side is expected until we can go ahead with releasing the said tokens. We've got a couple of nice ITOs cooking since a good while waiting for this fiat funding opportunity. Also the Heat Ledger Ltd options giveaway and subsequent trading + share sale require fully working fiat gateway to allow influx of new money some of which will necessarily be channeled to the value of the HEAT token itself.

Isn't HEAT a clone of NXT? What exactly is different about it when it comes to exchange integration?
HEAT isn't a clone of NXT, but a more advanced system on both capacity and features. Parts of HEAT are based on NXT's p2p protocol and cryptography, relying on the proven core parts while being able to offer a more extensive feature set.HEAT supports legacy API format compatible with NXT, as described in the server file heat-default.properties:

If exchanges wish to use the more advanced features of HEAT, they need to alter their NXT based system. They need to alter it regardless, as ports etc. aren't the same.
Despite the FUD from Stewie, I have my eye on this project. I will invest when the market cap reaches $7M (I expect almost all altcoins to plummet 75% of their value from what their base was, to their peak in this bubble) Since your coin never participated in the bubble since it never traded on a major exchange, it doesn't have as far to fall.

Large western exchange listing isn't supposed to be actively pursued until the server open source code is released in approx. 6-12 months. Server isn't open sourced earlier as we want to have a sufficient headstart with our scalability and microservice inventions before opening up for clones, to be able to direct their decentralized app development back to HEAT. We've been in discussion with Chinese markets listing channels earlier though.HEAT provides its own decentralized exchange at https://heatwallet.com, which is designed to be a major revenue source for the company. Although necessary for PR purposes at a later time, it would be counterproductive to direct exchange traffic away from our own exchange until its features are ready for major marketing efforts.
