If a girl or woman dressed up well and moved on the street and no boy or man called her to discuss about friendship or tell her that she is beautiful or eye her to tell her beauty, when she go home she will ask her friends in the compound or her siblings in the house to Know if she is beautiful or her dressing or makeup is good.
And also if a son or a daughter asked his or her father for something and the father is silenced about that, no respond from him for months and they consistently asking yet no reply. The child or Children would feel bad. And hat has caused Children and father's discloseness in families. Children love their parents when their demands are meant in the family. This also caused deviate behaviors from the family. These are stories from literature figures of speech.

Now from my first story here to the OP request. Is it that our efforts in the forum is not recommendable? Is it not beautiful enough to attract the admin? Because we have been moving around on the forum (posting, contributing and making comments) to Develop bitcoin even off and online, but we have not been noticed by Sir Theymos.

The second story also portrayed the unanswered mood of the father (Theymos) about the request. If Nigerians in the forum are not yet qualify for the partition board for them, at least a clause from him would have douse the tension from. Is it that he is not online all these while or he has not seen the thread? Nigerians will be very happy if a word comes from him.

All for the request.

Haven't been silent on the matter ever since my creation of this thread, I think that earns me the right to bump this thread again for a review and consideration by Theymos if deemed fit. Following recent statistics from @Rikafip and @Igehhh. The Nigerians on the forum have maintained a high profile in all that concerns them us on the forum and have been doing its most to ensure that bitconntalk is upheld at its most.

From @Igehhh's recent stats [CHARTS] Monthly Overview Of The Unofficial Nigeria Local Board📈, information #73 we've got about 49 ranked members from Jr.Member+ without giving consideration to newbies for obvious reasons and these users are actively involved in discussions on the Nigeria (Naija) hangout and presented stats by @Rikafip [CHARTS] Brief monthly overview of the local boards activity, information #368 Nigerians continues to show a precedent progress in all considered aspect to the study despite the fact that, we now occupy a more temporal hangout to the later.

It remains our hope that we be considered given abridged qualifications to our request. Thanks!

I would also like to support the request of these guys to create a separate local section for them. Watching them, I see that these guys are almost all very friendly and honest people. I will not speak one hundred percent, but I have not found cheating and plagiarism among the Nigerian bret Yeshren. Friendly people who try to honestly participate in the life of the forum. This is a good example for everyone else.

So here are my two cents in support of establishing a Nigerian local partition.

Guys, keep being so efficient.

Thanks for your support/ genuine word's at the moment we need the local section, You've done great.
Honestly, I think you should honestly leave the forum and go work with FBI. Just too smart and intelligent.
Yeah indeed, Bumping Upwards!

And if Theymos does finally, imma hand him a Black Nigerian Lady. How bout that ?  Roll Eyes

Hey, Yo Big T! You can see huh ? Sure you can, we anticipating 4 your response.

Thanks lovesmayfamilis for your unbiased assessment. You've written as objective as it can be on this issue. It can't be truer than it's already. I see the great work and effort you also put in this forum to help make it better. As a colleague, I appreciate your effort in all you do. Come to think of it, there are a good number of our members here who have embarked on sensitizing rural and urban Nigerian towns about Bitcoin and this forum. Brainboss and a few others did that in the past during the charitable campaigns and there are some who still conduct seminars in this regard. A local board for us is a win for this forum. We're partners in progress.

Thank you for the kind words mate. To be honest i am more confident of the outcome of this request than i previously was, i am pretty sure sooner rather than later we would get an update (hopefully positive) from the admin. I am also sure quite a lot of us never expected our request to be granted immediately, those of us that have been around for quite a long while know that it takes time before 'new things' are implemented in the forum, so on the strength of that we can be somewhat certain that the silence we are currently greeted with doesn't denote a no for an answer to our request.

Having said that, everyone should just go about their business of contributing to the forum with as much effort they can offer, and also to keep the local thread active as we wait for some sort of response from the admin.

Patience is indeed a virtue, I think at the right time, one thing is sure that, Nigeria will sure have her local board. The longer the wait for anything, the more it's worth it! We all just have too keep putting energy till our wish been granted.

As per the Naija pigin matters, that makes us Unique!! This should be the general language for us!
make we no fall hand as e dey be! Pipu weh wan cap phoneh, make them cap , make we just dey in unity and this nah the only thing weh go dey push us forward. Much love my broddys, y'all Black, Strong n Gorgeous 🖤

The fact that one of the world's leading news organizations, BBC[1], gave us an Official Naija pidgin website to read through popular posts and what's going on in Nigeria demonstrates the importance of the pidgin language.

My broda, na dat wan even dey pain me pass sef and with those of owa brodas wey dey like speak phoney join.

Anyone, that as it may be; we aren't resting on our oars. We shall continue to paddle until we get to the seashore. Good things aren't easily achieved. That's my consolation whenever what I'm trying to achieve continues to elude me in my mind's eye. The Nigerian community here has continued to grow in leaps and bounds. Outside here, the Nigerian crypto community remained unfazed even when there was a ban on crypto activities in Nigeria till a time now that the government is reconsidering its actions to unban and then regulate it. We're letting our government know that crypto is the way to go.

BTC, a coin of today and tomorrow.
I would recommend all Nigerians to keep bumping this thread, always making constructive comments, obviously, until you are granted the local board for being persistant. Those of us who are not Nigerians but support you in the cause will help you in this.
Thank you Poker player, Rikafip and others supporting us in this request. All I know is that theymos will grant our local board request. What I don't know is when it will happen. We shall keep making good posts in this thread and other threads of our local board request and in the whole forum.
Approving the board will encourage us to do more, not approving it will not discourage us, but for fairness to the largest black race and the giants of Africa, we will appreciate if our request is being granted.

I have gone through the other thread and this one and I get offended by some people who are against the Naija official board because they feel we don't have another official language except the English we were forced to speak but you guys don't live here in Nigeria. Here, hardly you find somebody who can read and write who doesn't understand what pidgin is all about, this is what we use to communicate with locals, traders, and local marketers who cannot flow with English and they all understand it regardless of how you put it, they always understand the pidgin.

The fact that one of the world's leading news organizations, BBC[1], gave us an Official Naija pidgin website to read through popular posts and what's going on in Nigeria demonstrates the importance of the pidgin language.

Thank you (and other non-Nigerians) for your word of encouragement on this demand of ours for a local board. We shall not relent or rest on our oars on this too. Honestly, this is going to be a win–win for this forum. Our contributions and involvements in the crypto space are immense. It's not a mere saying. There are statistics to show for that. I earnestly think the handlers of this forum should consider our plea as that will further enhance activities and businesses for this forum and the entire crypto community in general.

There are three factors that authorities always used to create institutions, Organisaon, Boards, Offices and States, etc and I believe the Moderators and the administrators in this forum are also using two factors to consider the creation of any Board in the forum

1. Political Factor
2. Social Factor
3. Economic Factor

The Political Factor is all about the leadership of the Board. Can they rule themselves? They have to scrutinize the personalities in the community to select a leader that accountability, Transparency, submissive, humble, Trustworthy, truthful and hardworking to control the board. So probably they are discussing or deliberating on the matter in hand.

2. Social Factor. This is the demographic population of the requested Board, how many newbies, Jr. Members, Members, Full Members, Sr. Members, Hero members and Legendaries are there to create the board, if they are not many they can fuse themselves in the platform or attached themselves to one Thread. But if they are much and floating in the forum here and there, there is no way a BOARD will not be created for them to gather in one place.

3. Economic Factor. I believe this forum will not use this factor to create a board for the Nigerians in the forum. This factor means, If I create this board what will they produce for the sustainance of the board and the forum. And this not use by the authorities in the forum to create a board. And if this is not use for a creation of a board the aforementioned first two factors have been meant by the Nigerians in the forum. Nigerians are Scattered in the forum. And creating a board will unite them in one fold.

Have any of you from the Nigerian local thread PMed theymos or Cyrus to speak with them and see how they feel about your request? They have certainly seen the thread, but you should ask the admins are there plans to create a Nigerian local or not. Ask them what you can do to help and which sub-boards you would like to have.
Sometimes silence indicates progress, and other times it indicates neglect. We are still waiting with bated breath.
I agree with you Mr igehhh, and I think in this matter, the silence means progress, and not neglect.
Come to think of it, if theymos was not going to grant us our request, then he probably would have replied to this thread, stating it can't be done, and maybe close the thread so the conversations don't linger on, making the thread a long one and yet empty.

So I personally think that he's silence on this matter means progress, and I have this feeling that our Nigeria local board is already done and waiting to be deployed, he (theymos) is only waiting to see how persistent will be be, so I urge us not to relent, let's keep pushing and making sure this thread remains on the top in this meta board, we are close to achieving that which we long desire.

But I think the admins were quite fast to respond in our case when they were PMed with our requests. Was it marlboroza or dkbit98 who contacted them?
Iirc it was @dkbit98 who started all that process once again.

Most of the active local members took the initiative and moved their own topics. Those were interesting days.
That's true we took initiative and finally got our child boards (must admit I was pessimistic about our chances). I remember talking to Cyrus on bitcointalk Discord server about the case as well as he used to be quite active there.

I would recommend all Nigerians to keep bumping this thread, always making constructive comments, obviously, until you are granted the local board for being persistant. Those of us who are not Nigerians but support you in the cause will help you in this.
Yep, that's the only way to eventually get your own local board and just because no one from the forum staff is answering here in this thread (or the other one) doesn't mean that they are not listening, it's just that they are very careful with these kind of things due many local boards eventually becoming inactive.

Out of curiosity I just checked how long it took our local board to get several child boards, and it seems that more than 2 and a half years passed from the moment marlboroza created Croatian local - new child board request - moderator request back in March 2018 and we got new child boards in December 2020. And still waiting for our local mod.
I remember that. But I think the admins were quite fast to respond in our case when they were PMed with our requests. Was it marlboroza or dkbit98 who contacted them? I forgot. We voted on which child-boards we needed, explained how the local was cluttered the way it was back then, and the mods agreed with us. We didn't even create unnecessary work for the staff by expecting them to move the threads to where they belong. Most of the active local members took the initiative and moved their own topics. Those were interesting days. Smiley

Our leader C.Brainboss has been sending PMs to both administrators since last month and has yet to receive a response, so for the time being, we are bumping the thread and pretending it has not reached the eyes of Thymos.
I hope I am wrong for the sake of the Nigerians, but if you haven't received any response after all this time, I am afraid the admins don't consider it that important of an addition. Maybe in the new forum. No reason to give up though.
If having at least one African local board isn't considered important, I'm afraid there's more to this than we ever imagined, but I hope we're both wrong Grin

The new forum is not guaranteed, and we may not all live to see it. Even the world's most secure site 360.cn didn't take that much to build.

Yeah, they really should. It gets confusing this way when you have multiple threads and you have to go back and forth to check what has already been said. I forgot about the other one and saw that it wasn't mentioned in this one.
Not just confusing, other members might be annoyed as well seeing couple of topics being bumped on the regular basis asking for the same thing. @Smartvirus, you might wanna consider locking this one and focus your efforts in the other one.
