It's really a good feeling seeing that one's achievements monthly is being recorded in a chart like this and am so excited to be among the top 5 merit earners of November. Thank you for your dedication @Amphenomenon for always keeping this chart updated each month.

It is rather late than never; the most important thing is that you finally brought the update. You have been very consistent in updating this chart since you took over from the OP and i commend your level of devotion in making sure that each of our activities in the local board is being documented in a chart monthly, and i complement your efforts. More strength to you and compliment of the season.

Not a misinformation. What I posted was that he actually sent more merit to people with established accounts also, not just focusing on newbies. He significantly reduced it does not mean he did not send at all. More newbies were given merits because more of them will easily achieved getting to those low ranks like junior member and member. But the merit is generally low on individual newbies unless he worked hard to get to higher rank like full member. What you can discuss about Ratimov is that some newbies can use the opportunity to look for merit to send to other accounts but which is not the reason I am posting what I am posting. I pointed it out that I noticed your merit to established members on local board is low and that as I posted more on local board that I saw no merits from you but you posted that I was begging for merits. You can see it from my merit history how I was really begging for merit and not focusing on how the local board can also be better.

How about you do some digging next time before you pass misinformation- Rati merited 819 newbies   in one month thats some record I will never achieve in the next 10 years if i keep on with my regular 4-5 max newbies a month. I'm not close to being generous to newbies than Rati was.

Ratimov significantly limit the merit he is sending to newbies and send more as they are close to their next rankings after ranking up. People about to rank to hero had the second highest merit to be given while people that were about to get to legendary had the highest. Not that he is only focusing on the newbies but he is general.

His old username was Ratimov but he is now Symmetrick before he changed totally and left.

I would like to hear your opinion because I don’t see much difference in the approach of the two users. Except that Ratimov had more merit allocation (he also was one of top merit earners in the forum at the time which means he could send from his own personal smerits to other users if he runs out of the monthly allocation), and it was open to the general community.

Aldo I no make di list of top posters for dis month but dat one no go mean say I no go appreciate di wonderful and selfless work wey you inherit from our oga moderator @Igebotz. I wish say more people go de comment on this thread, atleast to de encourage person wey de give us di updates. Aldo nothing spoil, so far all of us get di access to de see di updates every month, dat na di most important thing. Congratulations to every members wey make di list for dis month.

Ratimov approach is better. It is distinctly different.

Yes a quality post deserving merit should be given irrespective of rank but I dey talk in regards to Igebotz merit thread, I see am like the way Ratimov been do him merit thread way him target na to help accounts close to their next level to rank up easily. I believe say na similar concept na Igebotz dey use for that thread. He even talk am for the OP there, I believe say he still dey give merits to high rank accounts outside the thread.

I do not totally agree with you. Everything should be balanced. If anyone having above 1000 merits is having posts that are worth to be given merit, such person are supposed to be give merit regardless of his merit history, despite also focusing on newbies.

Maybe na cos I use pigin na why you no fit understand my post. My point is even though I’m one of the active posters on the board for last month, I’m on the list for top smerit sender nor top smerit receiver. Having more merit sources in this board will help a lot but that shouldn’t be the reason why I can’t be on either of the list.

That’s true. I just looked at the stats and concluded that I haven’t received or sent any merit in September but looking at my merit history I have received and also sent some merits though the numbers are very small that’s why it wasn’t on the list.

I have no problems with how you run the merit thread. Newbies and low ranked accounts need the merits more. IMO accounts with 1000 merits and above should not be complaining about merits.

That is not accurate; you received some merits from my spraying gun last month; it is not much, but we all know the state of my current source, and 90% of my source goes on this thread; my personal merits are what go to high rank members like yourself, and I have complete freedom to use it however I see fit. Being a merit source does not limit my capacity to spend my smerits on whatever profile I want. Your reports are greatly appreciated, and they better than those that spam the board with garbage in order to remain relevant. We would be having another merit source soon, I'm working on it.

Keep contributing and you will never go unnoticed, it's a baby step of pain.. most of my recent merit comes from outside of the local board but it doesn't matter. I secure Jobs with my reputation and not X number of merits.

Receiving merit should not be about sending to anyone before you receive merit if you are posting good and having merit sources. I hope the mentality will change on this board. There are people with good posts on English board that do not often send merit but receiving merits from especially merit sources because they post good. That is the work of merit sources.

Great work Amphenomenon, I just found this thread again. Body sweet me to see my name for one of the top posters, before we get moderator, spam posts been choke for our LB. That thing make many of us commot body for the board. E good as we don get mod now and the board dey clean. I expect to see more merits for this board. I look your stats see say even top I dey post here well well I never get any merit or give others merit for this board. I go try my best to change am this month.

Hey Charles-Tim I have seen your zealousness in this local board and you are not posting to fulfill your posting requirement, anyone who said so is periodically lying because from my anticipation on this local board Charles-Tim has been the most active poster if not either second person because during statistics and monthly data you are always there. Well, to me initially my interest began to reduces as no much merits was coming from the local board and, also not posting to complement post requirement, just that if I missed our local pidgin I would come here to come join some local discussions and not to complete post requirement because if is that there other places to go post to join meaningful contributions.

Wow, I'm shocked this happened and didn't even notice this, will try more to be observant on other threads next time though saw that thread as no biggie, rather just a newbie getting stress out by the merit system, but it was more than that, though I'm actually disappointed at both of you argument and misunderstanding, from the fact that I did wanted to comment your effort earlier about being always constantly making it to top 5 of our monthly posters often, if not even always but had to put this on hold, since I was planning to do this another time and also find someone to add on that category also. This goes beyond when our LB is now much better and free from spammers, thanks to Igebotz becoming our moderator and making things better including supporting CryptopreneurBrainboss in merit distribution. During those times you where so much active, just as much as you're always active on the forum as a whole. Not as now when things are so much better and we have much people back.

Though I understand you don't often send sMerit here, while everyone often get their reason for seeing a post merit worthy, which I quite understand probably because you spend most times at the technical board and so, this may affect how you send sMerits here and you spoke something about meriting posts, which you learn from on that  thread, The scramble for merits, I think in regarding your knowledgeable, sometimes it will be hard to find such posts for you here, but you can also send sMerits that you know are beneficial to others more, though I won't ignore the fact stated by Hatchy on that thread and I support all.

Both you and Igebotz are doing well, we have few active reputable members of ours working hard here and so I don't except the few not to settle their differences and clear every misunderstanding, even with other members, this is our LB, let's continue to make things better here as one and not as foe, even the Bible said an house divided among itself can not stand.

Igebotz is partial in sending merit. It is very obvious. Also he has started lying. That can be seen on our previous posts here The scramble for merits and posted that I am only posting on local board to fulfill my weekly posts despite that he knew how I was posting when I was in Bestchange and when I was not in any campaign. You people do not see something absurd.
