Yes, everyone who paid 1069.99 will get a 54Gh/s unit, during the shipping process we will take every single order and compare against the record with whatever payment processor you used to make sure the payment is valid and everyone get's what they are supposed to get (nothing less or more)

As far as ratio of 54/27 I can tell you the amount of 27's ordered is only like 50 something, so its significantly less. Although people are still ordering them little by little, people are actually still ordering ModMiner Quads believe it or not - I shipped out 4 of them yesterday (one of them was for the contest)

I placed one of the first orders and it still says "bASIC 27Gh/s NextGen Bitcoin Miner" in the order details.
Do you keep track of who paid for which device? Because I should get the 54 GH/s device according to the amount I paid Wink

What is the 54:27 ratio for those?

I got sick of not knowing what order number we're up to, and trying to figure out how many bASICs are ordered, so I started a wait list here:

https://bitcointalksearch.org/topic/wait-list-basic-pre-order-information-117955

Go forth, and gimme ur info!

Although the thread is a fine idea, all you had to do was ask.

Approximately 650 bASIC units have been pre-ordered.

no, you have to buy your own psu's.

Is it possible to use an old ATX power supply from the GPU mining era with some male barrel adapter like this one to power several bAsic?
https://www.sparkfun.com/products/10287

We need to know the size of the barrel connector.

Im pretty sure there will be both a barrel connector AND a 4pin molex like is on the MMQ. This way you can choose which to use.

Instead of speculating. Can't cablepair just confirm how this will work and make life easier for us.

I had conference calls with the both the board designer and ASIC fabricator today. After doing some thinking I have decided to go with both a molex and DC barrel jack connector this will allow for a lot of different kinds of setups without using adapters - you can simply just choose one or the other. At this point the change was inconsequential and only added a few cents added cost per board, which would be cheaper and simpler than getting adapters.

Better?

Much Better.

Nice cables! I also like the ATX switch.

Now we need to know the power usage of the bAsic.

Hello Gentleman

I am pretty much caught up on email corresponding except for a few people

I have been spending a lot of time getting the new office space ready to process the bASIC shipments.

One thing that is really pissing me off is this web design company who was supposedly regarded as being very professional , has broken two deadlines and is now not returning my emails.

Needless to say I am very unhappy about this.

If anyone here has some real high end web design skills and would like to design an opencart front end for me - please let me know.

I am willing to pay in cash (mastercard, bitcoin, wire transfer whatever you prefer), hardware, or both

You must be very high end designer, I can do web design myself and have designed dozens of websites, I am looking for something that is higher quality than what I am capable of creating myself so please if your not a high end commercial web designer please dont waste both of our time, because I really want to get this new web site launched as soon as possible.

Please call me if you think you can provide the service I am looking for.

thank you.
Tom

So this might be a newbie question, but what else would I need to run 6 bASIC's in Europe?

1 x Laptop
1 x USB 6 Port Hub

and for power?

any tips or links would be really appreciated,
Thanks
I would assume that these will be sold with power supplies - although as a UK user I'd certainly like the option to have them fitted with UK standard plugs out of the box  Cheesy
